Ordered from the heritage cafe today Couldn’t decide what to have as there’s loads of delicious choices to be made Decided to order the chicken parmo with chips And two lots of quiche and chips And of course the sprinkle cake and custard Everything arrived piping hot and delicious Can’t wait to order again soon

1st night at Caps of for the Burns night ceilidh! Fabulous service sent a few messages and prompt to respond. Food was amazing and nice variety of unusual beers/ IPA's to try. Will definitely be back 😊

Great pub, full of welcoming people and fantastic atmosphere.

Poor quality especially the beef,poorly presented and only lukewarm and not a lot of it Did not impress and was not cheap £13 a head.

We celebrated new years eve at the red alligator which included 3 hours of live music, hot and cold buffet and fireworks. Buffet consisted of lasagne, mince and dumplings, chicken curry, peppered beef, hot beef and turkey in gravy, noodles, steak pie, potatoes, mini burgers then some cold items such as sausage rolls and sliced meats including gammon. There was also a dessert table which offered a wide range of cakes including cheesecake and chocolate cake as well as a range of cheeses and crackers. Buffet was absolutely delicious. The singer was Charlotte Foreman who performed for 3 hours taking us into the new year. Brilliant singer covering a range of artists and songs. The place was buzzing all night and everything was perfect from the company, to the staff, to the music. Well done Red Alligator!!

Very nice hotel. Useful location for visiting the Auckland Project which this hotel is part of. The Auckland Project is not to be missed when visiting this part of the country.

The chef certainly knows how to cook.. Food is excellent as always AAAAAAAA

Christmas dinner was not worth the £180 we paid !! There was no Christmas atmosphere. The soup for starter was bland the main dinner was ok. We were asked if there was any else they could get us to which my husband asked for more veg as the portion in the serving bowl was not enough for 2 people. And we are still waiting for it to be delivered!! The desert Xmas pudding was a small portion in a large bowl. All in all I would not recommend paying that money for what you got we were in and out in 1hr15 mins. Will definitely not be going back there again

Usually I order from a local takeaway in my town, but this time I felt like I wanted to give Pizza 4U a go and so I ordered one of their pepperoni pizzas, the delivery lady was very friendly and she got here pretty swiftly after my order, so now I'm going to give my honest take on the pizza. The dough was a lot more thicker than most pizzas I order from takeaways, the cheese was nice and the pepperoni was definitely flavourful, but the sauce was a bit mid, it was nice but not perfect, so I'd say this place is average, not bad but not great.

Everything was dripping in grease, the portion sizes are terrible and when was about 2 pieces of lettuce and 1 slice of cucumber classed as a salad. Really gone down hill lately.

Doesn't even deserve a star food was rank and sent me a calzone with the worst meat made to planet donner meat and when I phoned he lied to me and said they only did 1 calxone till I read my order off just eat and the sharwama wrap was so small and disgusting. Will never waste my money in here again stay well away.
