chicken and lamb shish. meat was tender and flavoursome. Salad fresh. Very nice indeed.

Oops! Just realised I’ve not given a review. Love this little family run restaurant so come here every once in a while as it is a bit further from home. Quite small and cosy but most important thing is they serve delicious authentic Thai food which I always enjoy. I’ve been trying different things each time and never disappoint. Though obviously some dishes can be either bit more on the sweeter side or spicier, each to their own but I loose out a little as I can’t handle spicy food, so tend to go for the milder dishes. Recommend this lovely little restaurant!

After trying a little bar further up bar the other month and was so disappointed with the food uneatable and rude owners I went to this little place for late lunch lovely staff good food a delight 10/10 under new management still amazing and warm and friendly as before but the food is amazing under new owners as he was a former chef at the ivy 10/10’food know on the Fulham road and great wine and beer and very reasonable prices

My wife, Angela, and I visited this lovely eatery along Station Road in North Chingford last Wednesday evening. We were met with Silvo's and Orazio's customary warmth and shown to our table. The decor remains unchanged: romantic lighting with delightful prints of Italian locations on the walls. The background music was brilliant and set at the right decibel level. Armed with a perfectly concocted Aperol Spritz, and to the accompaniment of polite chatter and laughter from the diners already there, we made our selection from a wide-ranging menu, especially when you include their specials' board. Angela went for the Avocado Crab and Prawns followed by the Saltimbocca; I chose the Prusciutto e Melone and also followed it by the Saltimbocca: all the meals were fresh and perfectly prepared in taste and texture. This culinary perfection was baptised with a brilliant Primitivo: an Italian red with a hint of sweetness, which complemented our meal admirably. We then found room for dessert: the wonderful Alfredo concoction that had Angela drooling, and I demolished the Apple Tart drizzled with Amaretto - delicious! We concluded the gastronomic extravaganza with lemon tea, black Americano, and black Sambucas. Plus, we had complimentary drinks from our gracious host - grazie mille and muito obrigado, Silvo. What makes this place so special is the genuine warmth and friendship from all there, where you can feel right at home and bask in the ambience of great food, chat, and laughter. Visité el café hoy, pero era un sitio de construcción en funcionamiento (sin exageración). Nos ofrecieron una mesa junto a las paredes donde se han derribado espejos, pintando láminas en las paredes y sin suelos. Comprendo totalmente el deseo de renovar, pero ¿por qué está abierto durante este tiempo? El servicio era horrible, nuestras bebidas frías llegaron a nosotros a mitad de nuestra comida caliente y todo lo que pudimos escuchar todo el tiempo fue el personal discutiendo y quejándose de todo. Muy muy caro para lo que obtienes, 3 pequeños hachís circulares por casi £ 5 es ridículo. Lástima que el plato de Santa María era delicioso, pero todo lo demás fue una completa decepción, el rollo de canela estaba seco y no era comestible. No volverá al 100%. Cierre, renueve y luego abra para dar a los clientes que pagan la experiencia que merecen y por la que están pagando.

Absolutely lovely and great staff. Always smiling and caring. I love going into the Beckenham Coughlans. I am always made to feel welcomed. The ladies are all very friendly and helpful. The cakes are delicious it's difficult to buy just one cake, there's so many great tasting choices.

This place was amazing. The staff were so welcoming. Sh!t show that was performed there, was phenomenal. Will be returning for the vibes

The food was just OK , the waitress was very rude. Went with a friend and my two grand daughters, both girls very well behaved. The waitress seemed to be concerned about them, might have had a bad previous experience with kids before, I do not know… but it was enough for my grand daughter to stand up from her seat for her to get dismissive and asked her to sit down. She was just standing up by own table. It really made us feel very uncomfortable and we will certainly not come back.

Very i teresting place! FOOD is nice and service fantastic (The laidy called Katerin, she is very nice and friendly) me and my wife had a great time. Muy bueno!

Amazing kebab! Food was packed separately but that meant it stayed hot and the salad stayed cold! Lamb doner was so juicy and tasty! - just moved to the area and this was our first time trying! Will definitely be back!
