The best restaurants in London

Nice and airy. Food was ok. Comfy seating and freindly staff.

Toni is a wonderful man, the service was great and the food was very flavourful. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and would definitely recommend.

Haven't been to the restaurant for a couple of months. What a difference without Pierre who has now left and was the life and soul of this restaurant. On Monday night the back part of the restaurant was full of stacked up chairs and large plastic containers. There were only two tables available for dinner - one of which we had because we booked. The restaurant was a mess. Young girls trying their best but out of their depth . The food was very good but after ordering a second bottle of expensive wine we were told they were closing in 15 minutes (9.30)! Not very clever. We stayed on anyway until we finished the wine. This place needs a manager of the same caliber of Pierre or it will sink which will be a shame. Not happy and i do fear for this place. We did not visit the bathroom but if it is as filthy as they previous reviewer has said, i will not be going back. The restaurant needs to put a reassuring note on its website (which also isn't working at the moment) that the ship is in good, safe and healthy hands.

Londons famous all vegan pizza joint. Beautiful decor & vibe. Very classy & loved the gentle botanical theme which looked great. Great date spot! In terms of food, it was great! We are spoiled by New York City vegan pizzas and this came pretty close! You can tell the food is super fresh, high quality ingredients & creative dishes! What we got: - the truffle pizza was excellent. So much flavor. If you love mushrooms, go for this! - the pepperoni was good, not as good as the truffle pizza IMO. My partner enjoyed it. - vegan Mac and cheese. Soooo creamy, thick & delicious! Was a perfect size to be shared.

Visitamos The Escoffier Rooms a principios de octubre en la semana temática de Alemania con algunos amigos que habíamos estado tratando de llevar durante un año más o menos. Como parte del Westminster Kingsway College, la comida es cocinada por los estudiantes de tercer año y servida por los estudiantes (segundo año en el momento de nuestra visita). Lo sabíamos de antemano, ya que nuestro hijo se formó aquí hace unos años, y se lo recomendamos a todo el mundo cada vez que planean un viaje a Londres, siempre que sea durante el término - tiempo. El menú degustación de seis platos era de £ 45 por persona y el maridaje de vinos era de £ 45 adicional por persona. Dos nuestra fiesta disfrutó del maridaje de vinos, a veces el vino llegó un poco tarde a la mesa, pero de nuevo, los estudiantes están en formación. Habíamos comido en el restaurante Brasserie anteriormente, y disfrutamos mucho, pero queríamos experimentar The Escoffier Room - no nos decepcionó. La comida estaba muy bien presentada y tenía un sabor divino. Sí, el servicio fue un poco caótico a veces, pero los estudiantes están aprendiendo y están ansiosos por hacerlo bien. La supervisión del personal docente fue discreta y útil. Recomendaría a fondo The Vincent Rooms, tanto el restaurante Escoffier como la cervecería. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Visited recently for a birthday meal. No booking made in advance. It was a sat night & we were asked to come back in 20mins. It was so worth the wait. Starter & mains & sides all got good size & tasted amazing! We visited from Ireland & best Indian we have had in a long long time. So glad we didn’t choose Italian we will return when in London again

I visited this place last night after quite a long time, as we used to come here twice a week to eat and have a drink. We started with two shots of Courvoisier cognac to warm up, along with two glasses of house red wine. However, we were shocked by the bill, which came to £32.50 just for the drinks. At that point, we decided not to order food. This place offers basic, homemade-style food—it’s not really a full-service restaurant. For these prices, you’d expect a higher quality experience, with a nicer atmosphere and more refined service. Instead, the setting still feels dated, with a bit of a post-communist vibe. The value just wasn’t there for us this time.

This restaurant felt like a lovely and authentic italian restaurant. The staff were attentive with fast service, plus the food was delicious !!

Excelent spot for whatever, breakfast, brunch or lunch. Lovely people and a fine atmosphere!! We went 3 times during our stay in London.

Really gorgeous decor and good prices food with a good variety of dishes. Staff are always friendly too!

Fish is much better than a few years ago, sausage in batter very good. Chips ok but could have more flavour. I really want to love this place as been going for years but chippy still not much flavour and lots of bits as opposed to chips. Went on a Saturday and they had no chicken! Portions are massive.

I'm writing this review because I sat in costas after buying a coffee and a mouse ran past me on the shop floor and hid under the sofa opposite me the storage room where they prepare food drinks was open and it seemed as if it came out from there I'm traumatised and won't be here again.

Excellent food and atmosphere, however we did feel they were trying to get rid of us quickly, even though the 4 of us had only been there just over an hour.

Foods absolutely incredible highly recommend the garlic bread with cheese and the salmon steak will definitely return!
