Awesome friendly personable service from a great family run team serving amazingly fresh flavoursome food than never disappoints! Been going there for years as just love the vibes and the portion sizes are simply pleasantly pleasurable!!! Highly recommend......literally EVERYTHING is good but my favourite is definitely the Spare Ribs!!!

Chips drenched in oil and food was cold and was hard from being in the heated hotplate for 2long was over charged perfect meal for the dustbin won’t be going back there absolutely disgusting!!

I have used this fish shop since 2008. Absolutely good food. Good portions and good service and good food. Since the pandemic and cost of living crisis. Everyone is under pressure but I went there today for a takeaway lunch. The food had been under the hot lights for so long .They were like rubber. Fishcake. Dry. Chips looked like they had been reheated more than once. Sad because I used to love it.They also chop and change their prices. Depending on the customer. I would never go back again. Such a shame.

We walked by and saw the delicious fresh fish (cod), freshly fried. And with a huge mountain of soft drinks, it's too much to eat! Very pleasant staff too. Thank you!

Ordered a big order, they missed multiple items, which they didn't forget to charge me for, About £25 worth of things, they missed out on, but was still charged. They start, adding multiple orders on to the receipt and charging for them, which i didn't order, and didn't notice, until I was home, I thought it was, too expensive for what i got. So double check, the receipt and the bag, because they seem to do this, regularly. I have also noticed, they seem to, read the order back, Adding on extra items, or bigger sizes than you actually ordered, which i, had to tell them what i ordered. Food quality, has dropped, giving out, stale and hard food, aswell as old looking. Threw the food away, as it was disgusting. definitely some scam shop. Stay away, fraudulent.

I normally refrain from leaving one star reviews, and to be honest, if I could leave Zero, I would, but I feel compelled to leave one now. My last night in London, I ordered Fish & Chips for my wife and I, along with a side of Calamari. The Fish was overbreaded, and the Fish & Chips tasted very bland w/ zero salt on it and tasted like burnt fryer oil. ON top of that, I ate the Calamari (my wife did not), and I spent the last 7 hours in London testing the plumbing in London as I was puking my guts out, so thanks so much for making my last night in London "unforgettable." Icing on the cake was not being able to board our 9am Virgin Atlantic flight home as they would not board me since I still looked visibly sick and also threw up in their lounge bathroom. As a result, I had to take a later flight on Delta with my wife which led to a 6 hour layover at JFK in New York since everything got pushed back. So instead of getting home at 430pm local time, I got home at 11pm local time.....on top of spending an entire day in airports while sick. Lastly, and this feels a bit entitled, but I don't care......I lost out on the entire Virgin Upper Class experience I payed for as I could not eat anything for over 24 hours meaning I could not eat anything in the Upper Class Lounge which is a highlight of our trips, along with no meals on the plane.....I did manage to eat a few grapes. Hands down the WORST dining experience I have ever had and you all ruined Fish & Chips / Calamari for me as my stomach is still turning typing this review. The least you can do is refund my entire Uber Eats order which was around $70 US.
