This is the best fish and chip shop for at least 10 miles. I love these guys.

One of the few places round here that does proper chip shop chips! All other classic options measure up as well. Very reasonable prices as well. Can’t beat it.

Absolutely fantastic experience at George's Fish Bar on Shirland Road! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and friendly. The chicken and chips were perfection, crispy batter, tender chicken, and the chips were just the right balance of golden and fluffy. You can tell everything is freshly made, and the portions are generous. The shop itself is clean, well-kept, and has a great vibe. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Authentic fish & chips takeaway! Prices are decent, given this is London. Portions are quite generous and food is of good quality.

Fish is much better than a few years ago, sausage in batter very good. Chips ok but could have more flavour. I really want to love this place as been going for years but chippy still not much flavour and lots of bits as opposed to chips. Went on a Saturday and they had no chicken! Portions are massive.
