Very friendly staff, not too over-attentive. Fantastic wine and absolutely delicious food. I also appreciated the acoustic damping of the ceiling and open windows as I have difficulty hearing in restuarants with lots of hard surfaces everywhere. Honestly I couldn't fault it and look forward to coming again soon, thank you.
A long anticipated visit turned out to be extremely disappointing. We were there mid-week, mid-afternoon when it wasn’t particularly busy. However we waited quite a while to be served. Drinks (tea and champagne) arrived after a bit of a wait and the hugely anticipated cheesecake didn’t arrive at all. Having seen another couple arrive after us, be served, eat, drink and leave and still no sign of the cheesecake I eventually managed to catch someone’s eye and asked they simply cancel the order as we had to leave. To be fair the manageress who came over and spoke to us was extremely apologetic but the excuse that they were short-staffed fell short of reasonable given that at one point I looked over to the counter and saw four staff stood chatting. Poor service, grubby menus made me wonder if Mr Alba ever visits the place that has his name over the door. The place falls well below the standard one would expect. Sadly disappointed.
We have visited the tea rooms on many occasions, this time with family. The corned beef and potato pie was yummy, as was the crab sandwich.
Friendly staff. Good service and reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Great local brewery with plenty of space inside and outside. Their own beers are great and their collaborations are always creative and for all tastes, from “simple” to very complex and experimental. Service is great and they have snack, yard sale pizza partnership and some board games (even their own merch). They run some small markets during some weekends too
Few visits to this restaurant over recent months, located on the oval parade of shops in Sidcup. Essential to book as it’s always busy. Traditional Portuguese and Spanish style dishes (tapas and huge mains!). All good quality and promptly served even when the restaurant is full, good and very reasonably priced wine list, owner Is super friendly and great to see a local restaurant booming. Highly recommended
