The best restaurants in Leytonstone Waltham Forest London

Resubmitting at TripAdvisor's request as the business claims my order didn't come from them: Online order. Pizza delivered cold, meaning having to use my own oven and electricity. Whatever happened to thermal sleeves to keep the food warm. Was promised a £10 credit note. Nowhere to be seen.

We tried to visit the restaurant for dinner on Monday 1st May, the site said it opened at 6pm for dinner. We got there just after 6pm, it was closed with no sign of life but the website said its open. We tried to call them several times but the line was dead. If the restaurant is permanently closed they need to update the website to reflect this. I went onto the site while we stood outside of it, and it let me make a reservation for the same day and same time we were there despite it being closed! We drove past the restaurant later that night and it was still closed! Very disappointing indeed.

Goodday, Not Australian, just felt appropriate for some reason. The food these guys do is effing fantastic and the portions and prices decent. They are also friendly and they are committed to delivering the best. When I say fantastic I mean the food is fantastic ...the chips are flavoursome and not too dry or too greasy. The fish always seems to be nice. Better than Michael's half a mile away, which is also decent. But the Olympic guys are tops. Get down there yer flaming dingos X

Ordered fried chicken and chips here. The chicken was a bit too dry for my taste and had to eat with the sauces condiments. They didn’t have any fork and was given small fork to pick the chicken and eat. Shop has quite a lot of selection of chicken meals over. It accepts card for spending minimum £5.

My order was 1 hour 45mins late and was stone cold. So bad and no updates from Justeat. Avoid

I've been going to leytonstone spice for many years. I've taken many friends/family there -everyone always enjoys the food. And good service too. It's refreshing that the basics are good too- good cloth serviettes/table cloths.

Ordered a chicken biryani to take away. There was just rice and only two tiny pieces of bone with chicken on it. They advertise the chicken biryani on the disay board showing 3 chicken drumsticks but that is not what you get. This is the 3rd time in a row that they have done this!!! Will not be going back

Just popped in my local Tesco and always have my Costa coffee there. I always sit at the back to avoid the shopping noise and then a lovely sitting there as so much peace. Was 3.30om peak time Saturday 2nd of November and a lady working there called Indre refused me sitting there as she said “she needs to clean the floor there as they will be closing soon”I ask what time they close she said 6.30pm. 3 hours still left and closed the back. Was very upsetting so I just walk out.

Love the pizzas here, fresh ingredients, thin crusts always cooked to perfection! Family favourite ordered multiple times and always been super tasty

Fantastic food, very welcoming, good vibe, manager very helpful with order requirements and love that they support the community.

Had a takeaway from here. Really expensive for the quality. The menu is very limited. No massaman beef so opted for another beef dish. Received a few strips of gristly beef with a small portion of salad costing £12! The fish dish was nice but again expensive at £14. The wait was very long, over an hour. Would not use again.

The place is far too small, they don't have a cloakroom so you don't have no where to put your coat, and its baking in there. Men in there are too hungry..Periodttttt!
