Great cafe at Carshalton green. Food is always freshly cooked. Staff are very friendly and nothing to much trouble

Ignore the occasional mediocre reviews!!! This place is my go to!! Even though I haven't been there for 9 years (I used to go there for every date night/wedding anniversary dinner because I've never had a dissatisfied time/meal) until last night, it's the one place I always remember and recommend hence why I went with my family and very critical Italian father with absolute assurance that he would love it, and he did. The food is great! Taste fresh and not frozen like some people have commented. For those that say it's not, they're being over picky and are trying to find fault. The price is very reasonable compared to many other restaurants. The atmosphere is fantastic! Malou made my night and she deserves a medal for bringing a smile to everyone's faces. Her service, friendliness and welcoming approach is something every restaurant needs. If the service is slightly slow on the occasion that you go, take it with a pinch of salt and realise that they are busy (for a reason....they are popular). Chill, have another drink and a good time, that's what going out to dinner is all about. If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend it!!! FYI, I have no connection to anyone in this restaurant, I just believe they deserve the praise.

An imitation for the real thing! This was our first time and possibly the last. The price is decent but I wouldn't mind to pay a little more and get meat and Chinese veg The mixed meat Chow mein was a joke and I wondered if it was a vegetarian dish version , I did find some chicken meat absolutely tiny and no Pack choy no water chestnut no bamboo shoots no peas no spring onions The taste comprising mostly of rice wine and MSG big time So much so we couldn't sleep and felt bloated. The Prawns with the special fried rice was even worse Around 4 prawns 5 peas strong on rice wine and MSG again. Unless you don't know much about Chinese food I wouldn't recommend this takeaway.

We had a fabulous lunch at the Ginger Italian. The crab and prawn papaya starter was fabulous and I might try this for a xmas day starter. The polpette starter was very tasty and filling Followed by a 9oz ribeye steak with a chasseur sauce 😋 The Italian menu is quite extensive and we will be back to try more dishes. Lovely staff, good amenities Definitely recommend

Always a chance when trying a different curry restaurant for the first time. Found a good one here. Bit strange walking into a restaurant with just a bar, we were led around a corridor to a very pleasant dining area. We were there very early and the only customers, so I couldn't tell you about what the atmosphere would have been like. The dishes ordered were excellent, service very pleasant, prices very reasonable. Have recommended to friends. Will definitely go again.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our kebab, it was delicious even the chips were lovely, when I have ordered from other places the chips were not as nice. Would recommend them.

As a rule the takeaway food is great. However the last 2 times l’ve had a delivery the chicken the 1st time was hard and not tender, and the 2nd time the tikka masala sauce was spicy instead of mild so couldn’t eat it.

Really great place. Lovely kebabs and friendly staff. Always my go to when I’m in the area.

Been going here for years. Best Chinese takeaway around. Staff are nice and friendly and you can watch your meal being cooked, which I love, they are so quick! Food is top notch.

These were nasty! The chips tasted as if they'd been cooked in old oil and the sausage in batter had been microwaved. Lol they think people can't tell... We won't be back. It goes without saying the majority have no tastebuds. Need to do better than this.
