Most delightful, pleasant, charming, helpful, attentive and splendid customer service rendered by Maddison during my visit with my little son, Peter to this charming and delightful pub this evening. Maddison looked after us beautifully well, catered for our every need, was thoughtful, kind, considerate and went that extra mile to ensure that our visitg at the ButterChurn Public House was a truly memorable one. Maddison deserves a pat on her back by a member of the Management team for services rendered so splendidly and superbly. Well done Maddison for a job well done and keep up the good work. Rebecca, Svenja, Chris, Dan and Louis have all served us equally well in the past when we were previleged to patronize this delightful pub. All members of staff were exceedingly helpful, kind, considerate, thoughtful, attentive and like Maddison went that extra mile to look after us like we were family members. Nothing was too much trouble and all members of staff were ever so eager to cater for every small requirement. We had Hunters Chicken and a beer. Great service and great food. It was noisy but it was Friday evening. The boys were back in town (and in the bar at the front of the pub). The table where we ate was at the back. Lunchtime is quieter, but the Manager and his staff are excellent. Recommended.

Just like the good old days 💯 Great food, cheap prices and cheerful service. VERY hard to find pubs like this that also has a good selection of AF for Dry January, parking on site, large rooms, chargers, clean toilets, family friendly. Hope the local community supports the pub and frequents it regularly enough to keep it open. Hospitality is hard at the best of times 🤞🤞

My local pub that I have been going for a few many years. Recenctly, over the past couple of years, all the staff are so friendly and amazing. Really feel welcome and, even if I'm by myself, or with other locals or newly arrived people ... comfortable and enjoyable local! Chris the landlord is such a welcoming landlord, and with Eva there - drinks are ready for me as soon as I walk in and always ready for a chat. Laura - always with a smile and an energy and friendly just to enjoy the people their. Great local all round - come joins us Carshalton, Sutton or wherever you're from!

The Service was excellent and the wait staff very good. the beer was poured perfectly for the types of ales we ordered. My son in law and I came here 2 or 3 times as the live around the corner. The first time we were sitting outside trying to enjoy our drinks and a fight broke out at the next table. That wasn't the greatest to have happen so we moved back in doors to enjoy the place.
