Lobster & Grill in Sutton

Omg, once again had the best time at L&G. Booked the restaurant for my 60th birthday party and had the best time! Perfect food, lovely atmosphere and great service! Highly recommend!

We booked online after perusing the menu. I received the booking confirmation by email and we were both looking forward to our respective meals and possibly a few cocktails. Imagine our surprise when turning up to find the establishment closed up and being converted to a Turkish restaurant. I checked on Google and it was showing as open as confirmed by owner 3 weeks ago. It would be nice as a business if you would keep your online presence up to date. Very disappointed. Hopefully this will prevent other potential customers from having to experience the same disappointment..

lobster and grill has such a calm atmosphere, it was so quite when we went there to celebrate the only reason I come to L&G is because of there amazing tasting muscles. I ordered muscles then 10 minutes later they said there was somthing wrong with them and i should get somthing else, i was a bit sad because i only wanted muscles and im a peskatarian. In the end i ordered lobster. It was so funny to see the look on my parents face when i said lobster. Not because of the price but because its such a posh thing to order. When my lobster came it was big and yummy. The chef took time out of his work to come up to me and showed me how to break the claw to get the meat inside.

Langosta y parrilla en Sutton es una verdadera joya! Desde el excepcional servicio hasta los excelentes mariscos, todo fue perfecto. El chef (que también es el propietario) fue más allá para personalizar mi plato cuando mi elección original no estaba disponible. Lulu y Sheira fueron atentos y amables, sin ser intrusivos. La hospitalidad del propietario era inigualable, incluso manteniendo el restaurante abierto 10 minutos extra para que pudiéramos disfrutar de nuestra comida a un ritmo relajado. ¡Quedamos tan impresionados, que ya estamos planeando regresar para la fiesta de fin de año! Muy recomendable!

Was sooo looking forward to having a new experience in this restaurant.. however the food was below average: served in such a way which left my plate cold - portions incapable of filling me up . I was going to treat my daughter to a Sunday lunch but after my Xmas dinner I will not be returning. Service 🤦🏽‍♀️… nope not impressed at all having to aske more than 4 times for gravy i gave up 😔.. I gave five stars for atmosphere because it was us our dinner party group that brought the atmosphere and good vibes. We celebrated with dancing 💃🏽 🕺🏾 and laughter DJ Good 👍🏽

Fuimos aquí para conseguir la oferta de bistec que era 50% de descuento. La bienvenida no fue muy acogedora, ya que la camarera parecía que no le han pagado en meses! El filete en sí estaba bueno, PERO tenga en cuenta ... las patatas fritas NO vienen con el filete. La camarera me preguntó si me gustaría patatas fritas y le dije que sí, habría estado bien si nos dijo que las patatas fritas eran de pago! La factura fue sorprendente ya que se añadió un 'cargo por servicio' en el que era de £ 5. 00 ! El servicio no era hospitalario en absoluto, así que habría sido mejor si esto se omitió en la factura total. ¿Iríamos otra vez? No muy pronto. .. la comida era de buena calidad pero fue decepcionado por los cargos ocultos, de la camarera era más transparente en su servicio entonces esta crítica habría sido una mejor.

I had the Sunday lunch today and it was amazing. The apple tart is one of the best desserts I've ever had. Staff were lovely and friendly. I'd definitely recommend!

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this place.. we came on Tuesday evening 17.09, family of three to celebrate birthday. At the time we came there were only 2 tables to served and 2 waitresses. We had been seated and that was it for a while. After 10 minutes one of the waitress came over asking what she can get for us … hmmm…menu maybe???? We were starving. We ordered starters including mussels which I must pointed out were very bad washed - my 4yo son who loves sea food said „mummy they are too sandy to eat”, I could hear the noise when he was chewing. We had a look, it wasn’t sand, that was pieces of shells…. 0 pleasure of eating it, happy we didn’t break out teeth.. as a main meal we ordered grilled plate of meat and plate of sea food. Steak was the worse I ever had in my life. Was cold as a raw steak and gummy, was just disgusting. Small portion of ribs from Sainsbury’s that you just heat up.. 2 king prawns on the top and little piece of chicken breast that wasn’t grilled but cooked in the oven. All that for £26 with no fries. So we ordered them as extra and for £4.50 we got unbelievably small bowl of fries. On the top of that in drink menu it’s „freshly squeezed orange juice” which lady has informed me that is actually not freshly squeezed, it’s just juice from carton. At that pointed I asked so why do you lie in the menu?? We literally waisted 100 pounds. No one asked us how was the food because 2 ladies were too busy serving 3 tables in total. Wonder how would you manage if the place would be full? I had no chance to give them feedback, plus I didn’t want to ruin our celebration. This place is a joke. For this price you can have great food at any other place.

Celebrando nuestro aniversario buena comida, pero pidió una botella de vino de la casa que estaba bien hasta que nos dieron la cuenta. Nos cobraron por una botella mucho más cara. Se negaron a admitir que fue un error y tuvimos que pagar su precio 16 libras más querido. No volveremos en el futuro y usamos a cualquiera de nuestros amigos para mantenernos claros.

Excellent all round. I had fillet steak with half lobster and rocket and parmasan salad on the side, cooked to perfection and very tasty. My wife had pork ribs and was also very happy. We shared the calamari as a starter which again was very nice. We would both recommend to anyone and we will be back for more. Thanks for a lovely meal Lobster & Grill.

At lunch at the lobster and grill food was lovely service was a bit slow as they had a wedding there but over all a nice place and we are looking forward to going again.

Nosotros (mi marido y yo) hemos estado en Langosta y grill Sutton antes, pero cuando necesitábamos un buen restaurante para tener nuestra cena, volvimos aquí. El servicio era bueno. Erin la camarera era genial, siempre preguntando si estábamos bien y si necesitábamos algo. De hecho, todo el servicio fue maravilloso y sí, con gusto volveremos allí en cualquier momento 😊

We went there to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary and we liked everything about this restaurant. We liked our food, especially a freshly baked bread with anchovy butter. The food was also reasonably priced. I mean you cannot go to a restaraunt and expect to pay the same price as at a kebab shop. We paid £225, including a service charge, for 5 people where each of us had a starter, main course and dessert, plus a bottle of wine for all. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and service there. Waiters were lovely, friendly and attentive. We really appreciated it when a waiter brought a few candles for us at some point to make the atmosphere even cosier. We will certainly come back to this place.

Despite good reviews and nice pictures, we did not enjoy the experience at Lobster&Grill. Starting from an excessive 30£ deposit which is even higher than ever paid in central London locations. As soon arrived we have been advised about some dishes not being available. Ordered a Combo Grill, where the fish side of the combo was represented litterally by 3 micro grilled shrimps, without any included sides and with an additional 3.5£ to have a sause for the meat. Lastly, we could not consume the birthday cake that we bought few meters away from the restaurant in the local bakery shop, with proper box and allergens list, due to own health procedures. Good wines chart, anyway

Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing for several reasons. Firstly, the portion size was surprisingly small. I paid nearly £60 for a lobster that didn't even come with fries, salad, or sauce. In all the lobster places I've been to, the meal typically includes a small side dish and leaves me feeling full, but this time I left hungry. The so-called "whole lobster" was so small that the amount of meat was comparable to just two jumbo king prawns (see pics). Had I known, I would have ordered prawns instead for a more satisfying meal. It was rather “whole new born baby lobster”. My partner got Wagyu burger and really enjoyed it, but left hungry as well, because the bun it came with was wider than the actual burger inside.. Secondly, the service… The staff seemed untrained and confused, and no one checked on us during our meal or offered dessert afterward, indicating a lack of professionalism. My partner ordered a beer from the menu that wasn’t available ( update the menu maybe?) and my non-alcoholic piña colada, although very nice, was overpriced at nearly £13 (in most places they charge less when they don’t add rum) and lacked any decorative touch or even a sprinkle of shredded coconut. Again, it’s not about their prices - I wouldn’t order what I ordered if I found it expensive or couldn’t afford it. Additionally, when we paid, the waitress returned with the change in a rather unprofessional manner, placing £3 in coins directly on the table without a tray or the receipt. Lastly, the lobster was served on a hot plate with oil still sizzling, making me worry about getting oil stains on my clothes. It would be better if they waited a moment before serving so it has time to cool down before it lands in front of the customer chest. Overall, this restaurant needs to either reduce their prices or offer larger portions and retrain their staff for better customer experience. While I don't mind paying a premium for quality food, I expect to leave feeling satisfied, not hungry. Remember: we didn’t order starters, but 2 mains. The place/decor is beautiful, the food was GOOD, but the small portions and poor service made it a disappointing experience. Unfortunately for the owners, we won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

An amazing evening out for me and my partner. We travelled all the way from Reading for an evening out away from the kids and we were not disappointed. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere we will definitely recommend and definitely go back. Thank you to the Head Chef and owner, and thank you to the staff for such a memorable evening.

The food was 10 of 10, was soo good that I had to thank the chef. The atmosphere was the best, a live DJ playing oldies which really living up the places. Thank you to all staff for making the night memorable.

Lovely restaurant. Walked in last night, asked if it was possible to watch the Euro 2024 Italian match while dining, the Romanian waiter who was extremely friendly & welcoming accommodated our request without any hesitation. He was very professional and attentive throughout the entire service. Food was nicely cooked, the chef personally checked on us to see if everything was of our liking. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We booked a table for 6 adults and a toddler for fathers day, started off lovely , the food took a while to come, we had to ask for bread for our grandson as he was past his normal lunchtime and was getting hungry . Child's meal came out well before the our main meals. Cannot fault the roast chicken and roast beef, cooked to perfection. The problem was after our main course the manager of the restaurant started DJing on his decks ! The music got louder and louder until we couldn't hear each other or have a conversation , the afters took a good hour to come out , when they did they came in drips and drabs , so some had finished before we even had ours , they bought out a sorbet which none of asked for , then we noticed we had been charged for this when we got home. In a nutshell... cannot fault the food , but we went out for father's day with my husbands 4 children, who he dosent see very often, and we couldn't hear each other to have a conversation. The type of music was great , but needs to be quiter in an eating environment in the middle of the afternoon. Food is pricey but the beef and chicken was worth paying for , what we were surprised about was £13.50 for the bread ! Staff helpful but I think also struggled to hear the orders , maybe that's why we got the wrong dessert and got charged for it. Service charge is automatically added to the bill aswell .

This really wasn’t the pleasant Father’s Day meal we were expecting. The food was fine (we all had the Sunday roast) but service was really slow and with loads of different servers, it felt quite all over the place. We were sat down and waited 30 minutes for the bread to come out, another 30 (1 hour since we sat down) for our roasts and then after we ordered dessert we were left for 40 minutes before getting them. We asked where the desserts were and they came out fairly quickly after that. We were there for 3 hours total - complete joke! The atmosphere was an absolute joke! They have high chairs there so you’d assume it’s a family friendly place but from about 45 minutes into our visit the DJ started to turn the music up to the point we had to shout to talk to the person directly in front or next to. There was a really young baby that was sat right next to the speakers as there was nowhere else to sit and they never turned the music down. I had to put in earplugs at one point. Prices are only just reasonable and the servers were polite but we won’t be returning. It’s not accessible either as the tables are all packed close together.

Came here Saturday 15th of June the service was so good so friendly and polite and the food was outstanding me and my partner was so happy with everything and will definitely be returning

Ask for surf and turf at £28 was told I have to pay extra for the steak that will only cover the lobster. The steaks was £114 and £28 each for the lobster beware very unclear on the menu.

Make a note when you book online and give your card details out that as in our case £20 taken out on day of booking .unbelievable! We arrived for the meal and restaurant full with wedding party ( why not close for private party ) we were shown to table just inside the door in the bar next to DJ playing very loud music , not conducive to a nice peaceful meal with my husband . There was no discussion with staff it was there or nothing. So we decided to leave as they couldn’t fulfil our request to sit inside restaurant. Visa statement arrived showing £20 taken on day of booking ,contacted restaurant who so far have not reimbursed us saying they have no record of our booking and trying to make us jump through hoops asking for email of their confirmation etc which I had deleted from my phone . Just a thought if they do this to everyone would they think to deduct this from the bill at the time ?

We had our wedding reception here for 34 people.Malcolm could not have been more helpful both leading up to the date & on the day itself. Food was good, service excellent, everybody had a good time.

Wow.. I ordered the (mixed grill and it cost 26 pounds) it sounded amazing on the menu.. and they even asked me if I'd like medium well done or medium rare ect... thinking wow.. this is gonna be great when it arrived I was like. Are u serious?? Nothing on it looked like it even needed to be grilled or was grilled the tiny portion of ribs I recognised from the sainsburys collection that you just need to stick in the oven or microwave. They were pathetic .. 2 tiny little prawns.. and then a couple pieces of chicken that was gooey and soft. This was NOT a mixed grill and was incredibly over priced and shocking.. oh I got a piece of lettuce also. Almost forgot that Never will I eat there again ever unless I'm reimbursed my money

My first time visiting this restaurant and all i can say is that the food was exceptional, the service was amazing and the atmosphere very welcoming. Would recommend!! Would visit again!

Service was poor. Wasn’t asked how our meal was, nor offered more drinks or a dessert menu. Our starters were a let down, the calamari was like onion rings and only served 4 small prawns for £10. The steak wasn’t cooked as asked for and looked like roadkill. Very expensive meal for what we had. We can see why it was empty for the entire evening we were there.

It’s rubbish food and expensive I made mistakes to chose this restaurant for Valentine’s Day . Cocktail was fine but the food was very poor .

Food was generally overcooked and dry. £28 extra for a thimble full of lobster tail was a bit of a rip off. The meat could literally fit onto a T-spoon and that was the half lobster. Expensive for what you get, and the service wasn’t very good. It felt very lacklustre in effort. For the overall price and quality, you can definitely find a plethora of restaurants better.

At Lobster and Grill, we indulged in their grilled lobster and combo grill to celebrate our anniversary. While the food took a bit longer to arrive, the wait was well worth it. Each bite was exquisite, showcasing high-quality ingredients that justified the price point. However, the combo grill portion seemed a bit small for sharing, so I recommend ordering one per person. Despite this, the ambiance was delightful, with charming music adding to the atmosphere. Overall, we had a fantastic time, enjoying both the delicious cuisine and the lovely setting.

I went with my Mum on Wednesday, it was quiet but the staff members and chef were amazing! We had squid and mussels to start followed by fillet steak and giant king prawns for main. I highly recommend people visit this lovely local restaurant.

This is my go to restaurant for date night with my wife. Food is always delicious, tasty and a pleasure to eat. Never once had a complaint and I’m trying to go through the whole menu! Special mention to Cameron and his extensive knowledge on sprits, he taught me a thing or two and his blood and sand cocktail impressed me so much I tried to replicate it at home!

I had a great time celebrating my friend’s birthday at Lobster and Grill. The staff were very friendly and so attentive and really made an effort to make sure we were all happy with the service. The food was so fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend the squid. We had 3 courses and each course was a good as the last. The cocktails were so fresh too, definitely made by a skilled mixologist. The DJ just topped the whole experience off with great music. I would definitely come back again!

I went on a Sunday afternoon with 4 of my friends for a birthday celebration. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing and the Pina Colada was spot on. The chef/owner was very friendly and the restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. They had a DJ playing music and we even had a dance after our meal 💃 which was a lovely way to end the afternoon. I would highly recommend going here for any occasion. I would like to thank everyone.

Booked a table yesterday me and my partner had a great time , we both had 3 course meals from their a la carte menu , service is excellent and the chef himself greeted us when we were leaving

We have been here many times in the past but this was our first time back since before COVID. The menu seems more limited but there was plenty to enjoy, we had spanking fresh oysters and Chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection, although 'skin on fries' is a pet hate of mine. The restaurant was not too busy for a Saturday evening and service was good; although the waiting staff seemed a bit inexperienced, they were polite and attentive.

I hosted my friends birthday dinner at lobster and grill. The staff were amazing and accommodating always ensuring that all of our needs were met. Cameron was incredible and gives a good representation of what customer service is as he was always willing to go above and beyond. The food and the environment was 10 out of 10, I will definitely be returning.

Food isn’t worth the price. Restaurant seats are not comfortable. Manager was extremely obnoxious. If you want below average overpriced food. Please ignore all the reviews and the 3.9/5 google rating. I would not visit again. And you shouldn’t! The £20 deposits for 16 people were not taken off the final bill. Please check your bill thoroughly. Lastly does this food in the picture look like it is worth £40.95 plus service charge of 12.5%. We split the bill and unfortunately, I paid £47.13 :(

Oh, Lobster and Grilled! That place is a gem! The ambiance is cozy, and the food is top-notch. Cocktails with nice taste recommendations by manager - just 2 members of staff -busy but staff friendly and attentive - nice atmosphere. Very enjoyable Friday evening. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful restaurant! I’ve been with my family on Mother’s Day. The prices are high but food is amazing, cocktails are delicious. We’ve been serve by Joanna she was brilliant and made our afternoon special. Dj was play so nice music, my mum love it. We wait a bit long for food but we didn’t mind as atmosphere was very nice and we could enjoy more cocktails. Very nice place we definitely come back for Father’s Day.

Absolutely shocking, don’t waste your time with this place !!!!!

First visit to LG last night & was looking forward to it we had heard it was decent. Not the best of starts no drinks or anything for 10-15 mins had to pull a waitress to get us started .We had the mussels & prawns to start my wife’s mussels were pretty good but my 4 prawns were flavourless drenched in oil no sauce or substance tasted frozen at best. We went on to Lamb Shank which was ok & the combo grill which was £30 with some chips absolutely awful steak ,ribs,more tasteless prawn’s literally the whole lot was shocking.Bottle of Rose was good but on the whole I can’t recommend this place & definitely won’t be going again.Overpriced for below average food & service.

I eat here pretty regularly. Not sure what other people are crying about. Always been good service for me and the food is always top tier. Not sure what the head chefs name is, but he is certified.

3.9star is an understatement. 5 star without fail. Best roast I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Good portion sizes and staff are extremely friendly and professional. Couldn’t recommend enough. Malcom the chef is alway a delight and will always come and say hi. See you again very soon

The food was excellent but pricey. We spent £350 with only 2 glasses of wine. Whilst the food was great the service let it down. The male manager was extremely rude. Something arrived that we hadn't ordered. He said we must have ordered it. They absolutely refused to provide a jug of water. Plates were taken away before we had finished the meal and he was genuinely unfriendly. You don't want to feel like an inconvenience when you go out to eat. Thankfully the female staff were friendly.

I spoke to the manager tonight as we left and apart from having a laugh asking if I was hmrc...lol so funny......(lovely guy) I congratulated him on exceptional food and service. Lovely tunes played by the DJ. An impromptu "in passing visit" as the restaurant we were going to was full and I can safely say i am pleased it was and just walking in to ask for a table (that Cameron the absolute diamond of a chap quickly sorted one out for us......) was one of the best decisions we have made. Really all round simply fabulous. Thankyou and bloody well done. I will most definitely be going back xx

Absolutely disgusting service at this place. Booked a 1930 table for valentines and didn't end up getting even seen to for 20 mins not even a drinks menu. Starters took and hour to reach us then mains was no where to be seen. After waiting 2hrs 30 mins I asked where my food was and for it to be cancelled. I was told to wait 4 mins and 15 mins later my food was presented a £50 main course of steak which looked poor at best the meat would have been turn back if it was even a wetherspoons and they had rushed it so much it tasted of charcoal and they forgot the seasoning. I sent it back and asked for the bill they had subtracted my mains but generously left on the £15 service charge when out table had been visited twice in the entire time we even sat with dirty plates for an hour. All of this was made worse that the fact we booked and early table as we have a 7 year old autistic so who the forgot to bring his dessert out and had fallen asleep at the table. The was no discount offered or gratuity. The place is disgusting ruined my wife's valentines day AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Me and my other half had our valentine’s day dinner at this restaurant.. Honestly it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! Waiting time was horrific! Servers were not familiar with the tables .. Orders kept getting mixed up.. We had preordered our three course meal, starter was good. Main course was horrible, we had steak and lobster (which was an additional 28 pp, not mentioned during the booking.) Lobster was ok .. Steak on the other hand was one of the worst I’ve ever had! Completely unsatisfying experience. The only good thing was the dessert… Overall our experience there was far from enjoyable! I would not recommend going there nor do we plan on ever going back!

Surprisingly, the steak was amazing that I ever had in the UK. This was the first one who could make a medium rare so far. Definitely will try the seafood next time.

Paid £20 for a reservation at 4:15. Got there. Shutters were down and no sign of life in the restaurant. I am deeply disappointed.

Booked a table, put £20 deposit which they did not reduce off the bill. Food was ok, the atmosphere was dead but maybe because it was empty on the Saturday day I went with only 1 other table.

I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that this is not a Michelin starred restaurant, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat. Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. Where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated, when finally a barman said hi to us, or should i say to my wife only, in a very unproffesional flirty manner. We ordered our drinks, and soon enough the 'over enthusiastic' waiter came back to take our orders , nearly siting down on my wife lap AND I AM NOT JOKING ! The main absolute poor and bad quality. There was no taste to it at all, and there was no salt on the table, so you had to try your hardest to attract someone's attention to get a bit of salt, which took a while ! Honestly, I never complain in a restaurant, because I used to work as a waiter myself, so I know what its like sometimes, but for god's sake, if you charge people, and quite a bit of money, you must give something back. The whole thing was a bit like a fast - food restaurant focused on quantity rather than quality I’m afraid, the whole time I was sat inches from another person, and could hear the entire conversation that the other couple was having. I strongly suggest to have less tables there, and give people a bit of privacy when eating and talking and trying to enjoy a meal out. I will never go there again !!! It was terrible !!!, the service was very poor and Quality of food was shocking and overpriced.KFC would have been a better choice !

Steak served to perfection. The ambience and service were top notch. We had Steak & Wine then decided to stay longer for a bottle of wine and cheeseboard. The manager was friendly and attentive. It feels really welcoming and relaxing with the nice ambience. Perfect relaxing Tuesday evening as I was lazy to cook anyway. Glad that I went out and decided to stop by here for an impromptu dinner. Can’t comment on the food although it does look great. Popped in for a quick drink after work and was charged £5.50 + service for a HALF pint of Heineken. Was a nice place to sit for a quiet beer but at those prices I won’t be rushing back.

We walked in for a Sunday roast with no expectations to find food was amazing and staff friendly and proffesional. A great find.

Incredibly disappointing food. The mussels many of us had for entree were of dubious freshness, while the steaks were cheap and poorly cooked, despite the London-level pricetag. The 32 pound bottle of Merlot we ordered was substituted with a cheap bottle of plonk called 'I love Merlot' - and they seemed surprised when we complained. The duck confit was ridiculously salty - and sadly only the cheap wine to wash it down with!

Walked in for Sunday roast with no expectations and we were amazed at the quality of the food. Probably the best roast we've had for years. Very welcoming and friendly too.

I absolutely love this place & highly recommend it. The food is cooked to perfection & absolutely delicious. I had been looking forward to a Sunday roast for ages & it didn't disappoint. The staff are so welcoming & friendly. The chef is exceptional.

Went there for Sunday lunch. Food and service were excellent. Couldn't fault it.

The sides were very expensive for what you got.

SUMMARY - Great place and atmosphere with friendly staff, let down only by the portion size and pricing. 1 Atmosphere 1. Theme - Very nice inside. French themed and doesn't come across as a converted pub feel. Pleasant, warm and inviting with an air of pretentiousness. 2. Entertainment - Pleasant music over the tannoy. 3. Facilities - Clean and stocked throughout. 4. Cleanliness - Very clean throughout. 2 Service 1. Timely - Good service at 5pm on a Saturday 2. Attentive - We never had to ask for service or were waiting for any long period of time for a server. 3. Friendly - our Waitress was very friendly and respectful. She made the dining experience much better for us. 3 Food 1. Presentation - moderately presented in the style of cutting boards. Nothing fancy on how the food was plated which you would expect from both the price and pretentiousness. 2. Quality of food - The food was very well cooked to our requests. However, the coleslaw and fries could have been homemade instead of store bought. 3. Value for money - Not worth it at all. The portions did not match the price paid. Moreover, the price paid was for just the protein, if one wanted starch and veg or even Sauce for a steak, it will cost one £5 extra EACH. So a steak, which is served fully in another restaurant would run about £25 but one would be completely served. Here, £25 gets you meat, then add an additional £15 for sauce, fries and veg. Very rarely do we leave a restaurant still feeling hungry but this restaurant found us wanting after service. Not worth the price.

Food here is generally good (but not as good as when it was Brasserie Vacherin, under the same ownership) I tried their daytime special steak, fries and a glass of wine which was good for the price (don't forget they add service to the advertised price) Then I took my wife there for a lunch and we both had the same offer, except this time the meal did not come with salad which it had done before When queried the server (same one as served me on my earlier visit) said it doesn't include salad yet the sign outside says it does Don't think I will be returning here

Have been there about four times now and the food has been consistently good,would definitely recommend.

Love this place the mussels sure amazing and juicy we wanted to drink the garlic sauce We had the mixed grill platter personally we thought that it was a small portion but it was tasty The mango sorbet was nice too

My friend took me to this lovely restaurant for a birthday treat. The food was amazing!!! I had the specials which was crab, chips and spinach with garlic on the side. It was cooked to perfection my friend had mussels which she really enjoyed. The food was tasty, quality food! Brilliant chef and the Waitress was very lovely, friendly and welcoming. She took notes of all my intolerances dairy, wheat etc and they cooked me a fantastic dish.She recommended the mango sorbet with strawberries which was refreshing and delicious. It Was so nice to have other foods than steak and chips when I go out due to all my intolerances. The restaurant looks small at the front but opens up to a big space at the back, was clean, lovely decor and nice vibe. Would definitely be back! Big complements to the chef who greeted us afterwards also.

Excellent food and service. Especially the Surf & Turf. It was our 20th Wedding Anniversary and my wife’s birthday and the staff went that extra mile to ensure our experience was special and memorable. We will definitely rebook only this time with our family. Thank you to all.

Credit where credits due. Attentive staff, lovely food cooked well, all in a nice atmosphere. My wife and i have visited here a few times and had a really nice time. Cocktails were excellent made just how they should be.

Came in on a whim in the rain and so glad we did, food was excellent, some of the best flavoursome food I have had in a while. Cocktails are also delicious and taste "real" not mixed. Debating coming back again tommorow whilst we are in the area. Definitely recommend. Chef and host both pleasant made conversation with us.

Just had a meal at the lobster and grill in Sutton, food good had two sirloin steaks cooked well wife said pepper sauce was best she had tasted.waiter artur friendly and attentive,chef knew who Kidderminster harriers were big thumbs up to him. Restaurant very nice back in three weeks we will be back.

Came here for a colleague's leaving do. Great atmosphere. DJ was on point with music. Food was good had the Fish 'n' Chips. Only negative had no booking under my name, luckily table was avaliable. All worked out in the end

Visited for Saturday lunch. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the combi grill. Cocktails were delicious, and the restaurant had a great ambiance with a superb Front of House. Had a chat with the lovely owner Mr John, gracious as ever. Great choice of music too. Reasonable prices, will return again soon. Update: Visited again today for my birthday for lunch. Food was divine as usual; Artur was the only server and he looked after us very well, I even got an unexpected birthday treat! Thanks again for an amazing meal, service and ambiance. The roast dinner was excellent, the drinks were beautifully made and delicious, dessert was the perfect finish and the coffee was needed to sober up! The service was impeccable and we will be visiting again, for coffee in the garden.

Half the items were either missing or burnt. Called up the restaurant and got met with rudeness and slamming the phone down. Would avoid this place at all costs. Have been here several times over the years. The food and service are in a terrible state right now.

My order arrived without the frites (chips) I phoned the resteraunt and the service attendant claimed that the frites were sent with the delivery rider but they must have dropped out. He said he would contact the delivery rider to try to retrieve it, but no one showed up to deliver the chips. I felt short changed and hungry because I only had the grill to eat, but no chips. It was quite an expensive meal of £28.00 for one serving.

Had the combo grill (£25.00) and lobster (extra £26.00 half a lobster). The lobster wasn't the best i've had and I wouldn't order it again, not for the price of it, but the mixed grill was OK. The menu said "coleslaw" but the portion size was pathetic and not worth having. Chips ever extra and for £4.50 the portion size was very small. Asked for a Coke and they only had diet coke in stock. Baring in mind the location of this restaurant, it would have taken them 2 minutes to buy a few bottles from a shop a few doors down. Was it worth just under £70 (with a couple of lemonades) ........ NO I won't be going back.

The staff were good and the food I don’t rate it as the quantity snd taste was not good and don’t get take. Back from the web site as those pictures are not what their serve got me take buy that won’t go their again
