The best restaurants in Newham London

A wonderful bar in a beautiful cosy setting. The staff, Gelene, Gibson, Marek and Bhanusri were very accommodating and made myself and my husband feel very welcome. Lovely cocktails and snacks at the bar. We would highly recommend.

What an amazing hidden gem , we were shopping and upon passing the Prosecco Caffe, decided to stop for a coffee to refresh ourselves, we ended up staying and having a glass of ( perfectly chilled ) prosecco , some delicious small plate snacks and some of the best coffee I have had in a long time . The service was really quite amazing , you would think you were in a cozy Italian restaurant, not a Caffe in a shopping area. The seating was quite comfortable and the ambience just right. We cannot recommend the Prosecco Caffe enough, it wasn't why we went down to London , but we are so glad we found it and will definitely be visiting again as soon as we can .

Esta es mi cuchara grasienta favorita en Londres, nada más se ha comparado hasta ahora. Los precios son menos de 10 libras por platos 3 veces el tamaño normal más bebida más tostadas? No es solo un robo absoluto, la comida y el café sabe increíble también. Nos atendieron las mejores personas de la historia y honestamente simplemente lo pasamos de lo mejor. No me gusta escribir comentarios, pero estoy feliz de hacer cualquier cosa para promover este lugar y su increíble servicio. Me encanta.

Top notch experience fabulous food great owner nice staff not to be missed !

Had lunch around 1:30 pm on a Sunday. We were a group of 9 members. Raviteja was the only waiting staff and he was amazing. Such a warm and constant smile on his face considering he was the only staff taking orders, cleaning the tables, bringing the plates, food and taking care of counter too. He was literally jogging around but not one order was misplaced or confused and he always served with a polite “akka” and a genuine smile. Food was good quality, decent portions and especially the full meal combo was really good value for money. Definitely a lovely restaurant for sure!

Top place. We went in Ramadan so it was very quiet. The Frango Chicken steak was succulently cooked and the prawns were also a highlight. Service was great and it was very easy to order and pay as you could do it online, pay by card at the till or good old cash. I definitely recommend if you are in Stratford / Maryland area of London

The food the atmosphere and service is 5 star. Specially Rhyne is very good. He is always smiling and serving is amazing. Definitely can recommend the place

Miss the old black cat's recipes - in particular the full English, in the new one the scrambled tofu is a quite mustardy and not really eggy, and the peas a bit out of place Space is really nice and spruced up though and the new team are very friendly

Meet and greet was great when you enter Elvet. Food was fantastic just one thing need bit more lighting on the table to see the beautifully cooked dishes 😋 my family enjoyed breaking fast for Ramadan. Thank you So much to all the staff of Elvet. Best wishes ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

The shop is pretty good, clean and designed. The stuff is cleanly uniformed. The kebab smelled repulsive, and the souce gave me heartburn. It wasn't the regular distinctive meat smell, it was really repulsive...

I ordered a chicken shish plate for takeaway from Alex’s place, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The seasoning was just right, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. Even as a takeaway, the meal was packed nicely and still tasted amazing. A special thanks to Nihat, the chef who made my food. He is polite, respectful, and truly dedicated to his work. You can tell he puts a lot of care into his cooking. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great Turkish food. I will definitely order again!

Loved it the service was so friendly and the fish and chips were like just URGGG so good the fish was so crispy and not fatty at all would definitely recommend you get a lot for the fish and chips box for 10,20 definitely a good spot.
