Riverside Café in Newham

One of my favourite lunch time hang-outs with delicious food, friendly service and a wonderful riverside setting 🏖️

There’s always a warm welcome and a good coffee when I get to Milagros Café. A very special friendly, relaxed and bohemian environment.

The area is a lovely place to be in and this gem of a cafe was discovered. Food was lovely, staff were so friendly. This was not my first time visiting and will definitely not be my last!

Unfortunately the latte had lots of coffee ground. Otherwise, it would have been a nice refreshment on our Sunday walk here this afternoon.

Cody Dock, a nice place in East London to get away for a few hours. Located a few minutes walk from Star Lane DLR. At the entrance was this lovely cafe serving some unique drinks and they even had Moroccan tagine with couscous. The coconut, turmeric and ginger infusion was nice while the tangine was a bit too acidic but was something I needed that day.

Everything about this place is just perfect. Food was amazing and prices cheap.

Stupid money. Tenner for a toastie. 45 min wait for a sandwich during a quiet period... but they failed to mention the inordinate delay when ordering. Utterly useless and incompetent.

Really unique and cute cafe truck, offers simple food choices, they have jacket potatoes, panini, bagels and some rice dishes. Their carrot cakes look very nice too. There are seats by the riverside and a bridge that can rotate 360 degrees, a hidden gem in London. I had the tuna olive cheese panini, it was okay for the price I paid, the staffs were very friendly.

I've been coming here for years and this cafe always brings back yo Cody Dock. Friendly service, good for tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks. Regular opening hours thought the year. A credit to Cody Dock 👏

Good tea and surprisingly extensive menu of yummy meals like veg curries and chillies.

Albeit a temporary kiosk with some outdoor tables and chairs there’s a surprising variety on offer here considering the space constraints. Like the surroundings, seems very much a work in progress. Service is friendly and obliging, prices reasonable. A worthwhile pit stop for the inquisitive exploring Cody Dock.

Stopped off for lunch oduring our walk. Super tasty food & good strong coffee. Lovely people too! Recommended.

I was part of a cycling group that arrived here for lunch. We got efficient and polite service from the owner. My peri-peri halal chicken wrap was delicious and large helping with plenty salad. Cafe latte was good too. I even took away the last slice of home-made orange chocolate cake. It's good and welcome alternative to the high street chains. Top marks!

I would highly recommend going here, you're presented with the highest standard of food and service and the carrot cake is to die for.

Great little coffee kiosk, reasonable prices. Lots of development going on around Cody Dock, it'll be a brilliant place to visit when it's done, hope this cafe is still there!

Within Cody Dock. This is a temporary caravan while the Dock's being renovated but food can be consumed by the caravan or by the river, about 150 metres away. Limited range - hot/cold drinks, panini, bagels, cakes, ice cream, etc. All good. Proprietor a lovely person.
