El Cafecito in Newham

Amazing coffee shop! Wonderful staff and of course lovely coffee. Chris and Ivan makes you feel welcomed and leaves you with a good experience. I would highly recommend El Cafecito if you are in the area. This is my go to place every morning and I don’t plan on stopping. :)

Easily the best coffee I've had in Stratford, and it's consistent too - had it probably half a dozen times and it's always excellent. Don't even feel the need to add sugar, which I usually do at most places

If you’re staying at The Gantry and don’t want the expensive breakfast then El Cafecito is a great alternative. Coffee tastes amazing and the almond croissants are divine. We didn’t have a good experience at Hermanos within the hotel so it’s worth crossing the road for this perfect little takeaway.

Great place. Local, impressive coffee. I tried across the road which looked impressive but coffee wasn’t great. Service was friendly & I’ll keep this as my local go to.

Coffee was terrible. Suspect they recycled the grinds. Very rude staff when I complained. Avoid.

Highly recommended the best place around me

Quick, easy access from our hotel in Stratford. Really delicious mocha and croissants and fairly priced too. I wish I had seen in earlier in my trip as I would have definitely visited more than once.

What a lovely way to start the day! Delicious coffee served with a lovely smile and brilliant tunes - and the banana bread was 10/10! If I lived here I’d visit here every day!

Best coffe and croissant around Stratford area!

reallly friendly and helpful staff - I got a bag of frailejones beans after talking about the different coffee available. they ground the beans for me in store and it came with a free latte! the coffee itself tastes amazing and brewed perfectly in my moka pot at home. will definitely be back for more!

Really friendly service, Ivan is especially great. Perks up my morning. The coffee is equally fantastic and the lemon tart is spot on. Can’t go wrong with this place. They have a nice rewards program built in which comes in handy when you’re a regular customer.

Best chai latte going, even better service!

In the last 2 years, I've tried to go here 20+ times, only twice have I ever found them open. This morning, Sunday, 10h55, closed. Don't ever plan for this place to be open or available

I used to like that coffee there. Until the guy that’s on the morning shift started pouring 2 coffees through the same grind. He would give me basically water with coffee colour. I gave him 3 chances on 3 different days. Every day he gave me watered down coffee. After 1-2 weeks of being a regular, he decided I should not get the proper product that he’s supposed to be selling. Apparently I’m not the only one. Guys who I work with observed the same thing with their coffee cups. Watered down. Never again. I don’t enjoy giving bad reviews but this guy deserves it. I would give half a start if I could.

El Cafecito does a great job with their brand, its a fun place to be around and the coffee is great. I'll always visit when I'm in town and always take beans to grind at home!
