The Grill Restaurant Stratford in Newham

Top place. We went in Ramadan so it was very quiet. The Frango Chicken steak was succulently cooked and the prawns were also a highlight. Service was great and it was very easy to order and pay as you could do it online, pay by card at the till or good old cash. I definitely recommend if you are in Stratford / Maryland area of London

Had a great experience at The Grill! The Kadak Chai was superb—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Also, a shoutout to Customer Supervisor Salman for handling everything so well. Great service and great tea!

Alhamdualilah went for iftar 2025 and managed to pray Maghrib in the small open space as they had a prayer mat. Biscoff milkshake was very nice.

My wife and I had the mixed grill side of veggies and it was absolutely delicious. We’ve been in the UK for 14 days and it was one of the best meals that we’ve had value for money. Friendly service loads of options would be a good family restaurant 10 out of 10 in my books

First of all let me say that i am highly disappointed with my overall experience after seeing all the positive reviews.Let this be a warning for future customers looking to go here.They asked us for our order multiple times going back and forth to the kitchen from our table.The food was cold and they messed up our order several times.We asked for a medium done stake and they gave it to us rare.TWICE.Please reconsider coming here as the food is sloppy just like their customer service.They then had the audacity to give us a drink on the house.

We booked a table for 12, at 5 , some were a bit late but everyone was sitting at 5:30. It took a while to get back the orders, the food was served at 6:30. The restaurant wasn't busy, I think the service could be a bit faster. The food was really nice and delicious, good price too.

I gave this restaurant a five star rating because everything was excellent. A lot of tables were reserved (it was the 14th February) but we were welcomed in and a table was soon found for us. I did not know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The burgers were just right and both the fries and the spicy wedges hit the spot. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a really nice vibe about it. It is great to have a halal restaurant on the doorstep and I cannot wait to return and try something different from the menu. I definitely recommend this restaurant. I just wish I had thought to take some photos. Next time 😊

Really enjoyed my experience dining in. Quite spacious and very clean. Great service by Ali. He served the dishes in timely manner and the food was truly amazing. I went with my wife and we both ordered Steak. She had Sirloin and I had Ribeye both with peppercorn sauce, along with mash, curly fries and coleslaw. In addition we had classic Belgian waffles for dessert. For drinks we enjoyed strawberry mojito as well as original mint mojito. I highly recommend this place as the steak was cooked just as you want it and the best meat I have had. The best and important thing is that they are HMC Halal.

It was my birthday I brought my friends it was second time being in this restaurant. I order burgers and sides but burgers were too cold. It was less than 60 degrees.I asked him to get it hot twice but it was still cold and They don’t give you extra plates.

The Mini Feast was delicious! I ate every piece of onion left, so delicious with the leftover sauce with pepper, especially for dipping your fries! Prices are reasonable, good value 👍 Mayo and ketchup are standard flavor. You request your order by scanning QR code and ordering through the online site. Friendly and hard working staff! Thank you for ensuring the food was good!

Very good food with big portions and a great overall experience. Staff were incredible especially Ali.

The food was amazing and well cooked with all the sauces etc... the presentation was top notch. The service was very good aswell. Ali welcomed us very nicely and supported us with any queries we had. Always came to our table after some time to ask us how everything was and if we needed anything. Lovely atmosphere, background music and decor. Definitely recommend!

If you don’t want a disappointing restaurant experience come here. Ordered quite a few items on the menu and everything delivered. I’ve been getting the frango chicken since I was in school. If you’re unsure about what to get go for that. Lamp chops are soft and juicy. The pina colada is 11/10.

Food was wonderful and tasty. The beef was especially juicy and tender. The food was served in large portions and I ate my fill. Overall, this place is a restaurant like no other and is a must try.

Good food and courteous staff. A somewhat clumsy waiter spilled all the drinks on us, I was expecting a minimum discount to apologise. They don't serve alcohol

This was quite nice good service food was really nice as of April 2018. Been here twice before and was the same standard well worth a visit ...clean place polite staff not so busy good milkshakes ....has a masjid next door for all the people who want to pray so yeah all good ..recommended by me.

Great chicken burger, meat was well cooked

Yesterday we had dinner and had a fairly bad experience since we found errors on the bill when we ordered specific dishes.

The chicken was an 1/8th instead of 1/4 because the centre of the leg was not there. It was tasteless, and not fully cooked. Even when I poured on the mushroom sauce, it made no difference to the flavour/taste since the mushroom sauce had no taste either. There was no taste of mushooms which have their own strong flavour.
