The food was absolutely delicious. I’ve tasted a number of steaks in a number of restaurants but the service, the flavour and the perfectly cooked stake prompted me to leave this review. If you haven’t been…. Go!!!!

First time visiting The Grill today with my group of colleagues. Ordered a Franco chicken dish - half chicken with bbq sauce. The Good: 1. The chicken was absolutely amazing! Chicken, particularly chicken breast, is easy to make it dry and difficult to swallow. Not this one - the entire half chicken was perfectly cooked and very moist and succulent throughout, bursting with flavour. I daresay its better than Nando’s! Dont take my word for it, please go and try! 2. Excellent customer service overall - I was served by Ali, who was very attentive to my needs throughout our stay and no request went unanswered. He even let me charge my dead phone behind the counter which needed recharging - he goes above and beyond for customers, very impressed! 3. Lovely venue as well - great atmosphere for an evening out. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Our group’s food options came out at variable times, so I felt slightly bad starting before my colleagues who had to wait for their food. Having said that we were a large group of over 20, so some of that is probably expected! Overall fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!!

Came back for another meal after a networking event. The restaurant took a table of 20+ and food was delish. I recommend the frango chicken burger. The meat is so tender and tasty! You won't regret it! Ali the Manager was great at setting up the tables and service

Ali provided a top notch service. From the minute I walked in, whilst eating and once finished. I ordered the OG burger the patties were cooked to perfection and the brisket was juicy and delicious. I would highly recommend. I will definitely be visiting again

THIS REVIEW WAS FOR THE EAST HAM BRANCH. I BELIEVE THAT PLACE HAS NOW CLOSED DOWN. Been there a few times and their food is really nice and price is reasonable. However, when we visited the place last night, we saw a mouse running around in the restaurant. When I mentioned it to the guy behind the counter he replied "I'll let the manager know" and just carried on as normal. I know London has issues with mice and it's not unusual for establishments to face these issues but it seemed like these guys aren't bothered about pest control in the slightest. I am writing this review in the hope that they get their act together.

The food is really great and also their price range. The dessert (Belgium Waffles Classic) was something special. Great service as well.

Not only was the food amazing, but it was also great value for money. The restaurant's location is very convenient, right next to Stratford with easy access, and they offer free parking in the evenings—a huge plus! Overall, I highly recommend The Grill to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit!

After a 6 year hiatus from the closure of their East Ham branch, I visited The Grill - Stratford after discovering this branch, with my wife. I must say this was one of our best experiences dining out in a long time, especially when looking for a high quality burger. The food, grade of meats in the burger and wings, alongside the sides were outstanding, mAtA! We ordered 2 burgers with the owner akhi Yasin paying attention to our order and recommending we upgrade to the OG (which he graciously did so on the house), buffalo wings, homemade onion rings and their mash. Alongside a strawberry mocktail. The black Angus burgers were cooked perfectly to the order of medium well with great seasoning, juicy and succulent. The onion rings were fresh and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The mash was creamy in a generous portion size and the wings were grilled in a tangy buffalo sauce. The mocktail was perfect in volume, sweetness and flavour. We shared their famous Belgian waffle which was accompanied with the most amazing vanilla ice cream. Sweet, fluffy and a lovely drizzle of chocolate sauce. To cap an excellent dinner, we were then treated to a complementary hot chocolate and karak chai to complement the meal! Fantastic service from all of the staff, clean premises and above all, food of the highest quality. Can’t wait to visit soon, iA.

Went on a very quiet day, started with just me and my wife and our child then 1 more couple came in so atmosphere wasnt very lively or anything. Music level (nasheeds) was on a good level, not too loud. Food was great and so was the service. Id say it was value for money. So overall a 4 out 5 👍

I have been here many times because it’s close to station it’s nice spot I always enjoyed But this time the mixed burger tasted different and I tried to explain the server usually it’s nice and tasty but he didint care and he didint want to listen even what I was saying he just ignored me disappointed

Ordered chicken stake and lamb chops. While the stake was good but the lamb chops were not that good, too chewy and a bit smelly.

Not worth the money. Little portions, lack of presentation, poor recipes. We ordered a burger, it comes without any salad inside or on side, just bun and patty. No chips either.

Food was great. I had a burger which was cooked to perfection and had a really good sauce...not sure what it was but it was really tasty. My dad had a steak which was super tasty, cooked just as requested with a spicy glaze which gave it a kick. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely return.

After being rejected by the rude service of nandos not letting us in, this place a 2 min walk from nandos deserves the money more we spent. I’ve been here many times but this time with my family. We ordered a lot of food and everything turned out great, fresh and tasty. Would want to visit here again and again. Also the mash is the best good to order here.

We went for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, you have to use a QR code to order and pay online from the table. The food came out quickly not sure if it'll be this quick when its busy. We really enjoyed our food, and the staff were very friendly making sure we were happy with everything. Overall a great experience, we will definitely visit again!

This place is nothing special... food was ok, starters were really nice - sticky wings were nice - mac & cheese was exceptional - lamb chops were nice The mains I had a steak, which wasn't wow the sides with the steak were better. Mocktails were really nice. Overall I wouldn't drive 2 hours again for this place.

I was having a rough week and THE GRILL went out of their way to send me 2 extra piece of chicken, extra chips, free 5 drinks and free onion rings. I had not expected this and I feel very bad but I just wanted to say that not only that their food is AMAZING, I always order from them because of how delicious their food is but their customer service and atmosphere is out of the world. We have ordered from The Grill numerous times and the food has always been great. Today we had a few items missing from my order and contacted the restaurant. The customer service was fantastic as they quickly arranged for the missing items to be delivered alongside some complimentary drinks. I ordered food at 7:14, the time is currently 8:14 and my food is still not here, I ordered just one pasta and I’ve waited over an hour. This is the 2nd time the service has been slow and unorganised. Dissatisfied

Great experience at the grill. The food was all fresh and hot. The meat was tender and the sides were just right. We went as a large family and it was perfect! Would definitely recommend!
