El café estaba bastante ocupado. Senté a mi hijo de tres años en un taburete cerca de la máquina de café. Un miembro del personal de la hasta entonces me dijo, bastante groseramente, "esa es el área de servicio de comida. " Antes de que pudiera moverlo, ella comenzó a avergonzarnos ruidosamente, avergonzándonos frente a los otros clientes. Gritó que no entendíamos que era un área de servicio de comida. Luego retiró las velas de otra área de pie / taburete y nos dijo que podíamos sentarnos allí. Estaba claramente estresada porque el lugar estaba ocupado, lo que, como negocio de hospitalidad, debería apreciar! Si no quieres que la gente se siente en los taburetes junto al "área de servicio de alimentos", entonces quítale los taburetes. No creas la impresión de que la gente puede sentarse allí solo para que tu personal los informe públicamente. Además, agregue un letrero que diga: "No de pie o sentado – área de servicio de comida solamente".

La hamburguesa más sabrosa. Tenía el brisket y estaba suculento y delicioso. El personal era amable y el ambiente vibrante.

My daughter booked this terrarium workshop for a Mother’s Day treat. We were greeted by friendly staff with a hot drink of our choice. Ricardo was our tutor for the day he was very kind and informative he explained all about what we needed to do to make our own terrarium.It was a very rewarding and relaxed experience that we both enjoyed doing and l throughly recommend this to anyone who love plants .A great treat for me loved it 🥰

We Specifically went on Sunday to try their Sunday Roast. We had gone to the Faber Fox, which is a short distance from this pub and it was very disappointing and was more expensive then this pub, so we thought we would go for a comparison. We both had the Beef roast so it was a true comparison with the Faber Fox. The beef was slightly chewy and had some fat, however is was very flavoursome as was the excellent gravy. The Yorkshire pudding was large, however it did not provide the outer crispness with a slightly doughy centre. The potatoes were not as externally chrispy as is my preference, but were the best part of the meal. The vegetables were not over cooked, however there was not any sweetness to them. Atmosphere was excellent, Staff were very polite and the family's kept their children under control. I would score this overall 6.5 out of 10, against the Faber Fox which was probably a 3! I reviewed Erins in Beckenham which was an 8 out of 10!

Great to see local up and coming music talent being supported by this fantastic cafe bar. Dropped by last night and saw a local group, Gliss (brilliant laid back jazz/soul), a local signer/guitarist (apologies I didn’t catch his name) and a set by Brixton radio. The atmosphere is really warm, welcoming and supportive and the staff are fabulous! Great to see such a cool place coming back to life after the last 18 months! I think the events are every second Thursday and thoroughly recommend them for a great evening!

Parissi is my favourite spot in Brixton. No it's not the cheapest but *everything* is home made and top quality. The cakes and pastries, the lunchtime frittata and the salads are all amazing. Spiros the owner is always there, he works hard and he really cares even if he's not always the friendliest! The staff are lovely and it's just the best place to catch up with friends or linger with coffee and a book. It's cosy inside, with more tables out back in the hidden garden. A really special place.

I visited the Just In Bean stall at a Christmas market and it was fantastic! Mexican Chilly hot chocolate was amazing, the staff were friendly, and the festive atmosphere made the experience even better. I love the decorations! I highly recommend stopping by their stall for a delicious hot chocolate

Vaya. Cobró £ 9. 80 por una pinta de Guiness. £ 9. 80 ! ! ! ! Tuve que hacer una doble toma. Tendría que volver a hipotecarme para convertirme en un habitual. No volveré a estos precios.

Got flowers from here on Mother’s Day they died the next day the man was rude and was calling my friend stingy paid £15 for this nonsense

Everyone there are very friendly. You'll have a good time with your friend. The pizza is made with quality product and very light base.

Acabo de descubrir Kamome para llevar durante el cierre: excelente comida japonesa casera a precios razonables.

Nice intimate atmosphere in the great Brixton market.

The most beautiful little coffee shop. Service and coffee is always knockout. Always friendly, always efficient & their Co-working space is extremely well priced. Thank god we have these guys on our door step!

As I live round the corner I just walked in & ordered a bacon, sausage, egg & mushroom toasted sandwich/bloomer to take away. A few mins later when I returned home I will say it was "absolutely & incredibly cooked, sliced, layered & presented to perfection". A non branded local cafe serving great breakfasts using quality products. Overall compared to other cafes it wasn't a breakfast toasted sandwich that was just thrown together.
