This can be a good experience. However it depends who is serving and what time of day it is. I get a kebab when i don't have time to cook. so I want it to fill me up like a meal . There are two guys that seem to be in charge and if they are there you will get good service and a good value for money. I f however you have the misfortune to be served by the lower ranks the portions will be skant . This is also the case if you order by phone . You need to be there and watch them put your meal together. Other wise the the vegetable part of your meal will be more like a garnish and not a salad. I phoned through an order today , collected it and took it home . As soon as it was finished I had to cook myself something to eat because I was still hungry . My kebab cost nearly £10

I've been coming to this kebab shop for over 25 years, it is amazing, you won't find a better kebab locally. Anyone that has a bad word to say about it hasn't got a clue. My grandad used to come here all the time and he loved these guys, they treated him like family called him uncle. Thank you so much efes crew!

I have never had a bad meal - perfectly cooked meat, lovely fresh salads, all round good food. The team working here are lovely too.

I had my first kebab in London in 1975 from a stall on the corner of Gloucester Rd and Cromwell. It was heaven. Since then my and Donna have drifted apart. I dallied for a while with Shish and Kofta but they too became mundane. Last time I was in Effes it was 3 in the morning for a bottle of red wine. The kebab was just to keep it legal. Tonight I stopped off and bought a Doner & Kofta and had a threesome on the 468. I had forgotten a kebab could taste so good! Beautiful lamb flavours suffused with a hint of herbs. The staff are a little restrained Who wouldn't be after the pubs have shut in 'Lower Norwood' as it used to be called. They smile with their eyes and pour love into those polystrene boxes.

I love the Efes kebabs, we normally order the mixed selection as we can enjoy the range of meats and it comes with the chips or rice. The service could come with a smile

Long established kebab house that's recently been refurbished. It's a local restaurant and I'd be surprised if it was a destination place for anyone but it's alright. It's local, it's open late and does takeaway. It's also got a neon sign now! Woop Woop!

The service was great but unfortunately the food, not so much. Some of the food in the boil bag was cold and the taste wasn’t that great. Cocktails were also a little too sweet. It’s a shame as I real
