Ordered pizza through deliveroo two buffalow pizza's unedable, and they wouldn't replace them, told us to go through deliveroo

As the title says - pizza here is absolutely delicious. Don’t let the size or decor fool you, this place is the best. Authentic, delicious Italian food with great service. Been here a few times and will definitely be back.

I was a bit put off when I asked for ketchup, the waiter (owner?) looked at me as if to say, "You want to put ketchup on one of our real Italian pizzas? No..." But it didn't need it, as it was one of the best pizzas I ever had in my (very long) life.

I went into the restaurant masked and ordered for me and my friends, everything seemed normal. I went to sit down to wait and on collecting the pizzas the waiter ignored my hand under the boxes for the bag handle on the bag for the rest of the order and instead lifted my chin and put it under and then proceeded to touch my nose ‘bopping’ it 5 times slowly… I was in shock. Surreal. My arms full of food I couldn’t do anything. Felt like it would’ve never happened to a man. As a woman in her late twenties I felt insulted. As woman going in alone I felt harassed and humiliated. Degrading experience. I never have experienced anyone in hospitality touching me in any way and especially not without consent with their hands on my face during a pandemic. Awful behaviour. I work in hospitality and it is absolutely unheard of. I wouldn’t expect any stranger to do this to me let alone someone in a supposedly professional environment. I got the impression he thought I was younger than I was which I feel makes it worse as I was on my own. Really need to reconsider their front who of house who represent them or train them in basic decency, respect and treatment of customers. Totally unacceptable sexism and I feel taken advantage of.

Never again. Pizzas were delivered quickly and smaller fantastic. However, after opening the box, we could see all the toppings had slid off into a corner of the box, and the crust had gone completely.soggy and floppy. I can't tell if it was badly cooked or just badly delivered. But I do know not to pay over £30 for two horrible pizzas ever again.

We loved the service and the pizzas are really authentic. Gora cooks brilliantly, Hervé served us with a smile and also very easy on the eye ladies!!! Definitely recommend! Also reasonably priced and good wines to go with the pizzas. We love this little place!!!

Just ordered a takeaway from here. I had been wanting to try this place for ages and finally decided to treat myself to their mushroom,Olive, ham and artichoke pizza. The pizza smelt incredible and didn’t disappoint on taste either. The only slight criticism was that it was a little salty because they had been very generous with the olives which were quite intense. I’ve had quite a few average takeaway pizzas recently and this was fantastic. Great amount of toppings and delicious dough. Thank you!

This restaurant used to do delicious pizzas but during lockdown I had 2 pizzas delivered and the large majority of the pizza was dry crust with a small amount of pizza topping in the middle. The worst one was a buffalo mozzarella pizza which was not cheap.This restaurant will be losing many customers if they continue to do this.

Great pizza, brilliant value for money – one of Herne Hill’s many hidden gems. The service is friendly and speedy. And the house wine is cheap and yummy!

We ordered 3 pizzas with 2-3 extras on each. The pizzas were bare, mushrooms were from a tin, extra chilly flakes were missing, 'extra olives' consisted of less than half an olive cut in 3 pieces. Still giving it an average rating as the taste was fine. But overall only really worth about half of what we paid. Will stay away from this place in the future.

The pizza here is delicious and excellent value for money. Staff are friendly and attentive. They have just opened another one on Lordship lane which is equally as good and also slightly larger.

I organised an event for all my school staff and 500 Degrees supplied 50 pizzas. Can’t praise them more, the pizzas were excellent, tasty and satisfied a number of very hungry teachers! Can’t thank Gaz and his team enough. Highly recommend

He caminado por este lugar tan a menudo, ahora lamento no haber ido antes. Ahora está muy firmemente en mi lista de restaurantes regulares. El menú es limitado pero muy bueno. Buena variedad de pizzas y entrantes. La gran ventaja son las ensaladas que vienen en tazones de buen tamaño con un aderezo casero muy agradable. Todo lo que hemos probado excelente. Algunos de los quesos utilizados eran un poco diferentes y eran muy buenos. El ambiente acogedor y amable y el servicio es bueno.Está cerca de la estación de Herne Hill, por lo que es ideal para un bocado rápido por la noche. O está al otro lado de la carretera de Brockwell Park, por lo que es una excelente opción para llevar a los niños después de una visita al parque.

500 grados sirven pizza directamente de un horno de leña; la masa es bastante decente y en general la pizza es muy buena. El personal es amable y la ubicación es excelente, justo enfrente de Brockwell Park y muy cerca de la estación. Es una buena relación calidad-precio y todas las pizzas están a menos de diez.

The dough is just right, thin in tue middle and abit thicker on the borders, light and easy to digest. The toppings are of fine quality. 5 well deserved stars, well done!

This cosy restaurant does great, fresh wood-fired pizza. I have enjoyed every pizza I've tried from here. I have eaten here with friends, family and as a couple, and it was a great setting regardless of the occasion. There are a few outside tables, however it is right next to a busy road, so I recommend inside.

There were lots of customers so we knew it must be a good place to get food and we were right. We had two pizzas and two salads and they were both very good.

You won't really be that bothered about the starters or the desserts - they're assembled rather than made, and are definitely the support acts for the main event: the pizzas. As good as I've had in London; wood fired oven, thin base, nice texture, decent toppings. Well worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood.

Went here last night for a friend's birthday celebration and we had lovely tasty pizzas! The puddings were authentic and delicious. It was the staff who really made the evening though. They were all lovely! Lots of joking and excellent service. We will definitely be going back. If you're dithering - just go!

La habitación era sencillamente decorado y no había ningún intento de ser chi chi o pretencioso un cambio refrescante. Lo que sí lo hace muy bien. Probablemente no venga aquí para una gran comida, pero para una ocasión informal parada de alimentación está en el dinero

500 grados visitamos en Herne Hill Brockwell Park en frente el domingo por la tarde. Muy agradable "rústico" decoración, mesa de madera, etc. El personal era muy amable y eficiente. No tienen entradas, sólo pizzas, bebidas y postres. Los platos principales son la pizza y pasta, no hay opciones que hacen muy buenas pizzas a precios muy razonables (la mayoría de 8 libras. 00 a 8 libras. 75) y bebidas a un precio razonable. Estaba ocupado con un zumbido agradable. Nuestra hija ha mudado cerca (de ahí nuestra visita) y sin duda ser un habitual con sus amigos si la primera visita fue nada.

My Italian husband and I go here once every two weeks. Really fresh ingredients. In his opinion it's the best pizza he's had in London and better than many places in Italy. Good atmosphere. It has a new name and doesn't seem to exist on trip advisor under that new name. Look for '500 Degrees'

Lovely freshly made stone baked pizzas. I had the calzone and was very impressed. The offer a simple range but everything is delicious and much better quality and value for money than Pizza express!

Food took AGES to arrive and was cold when it did! We had to put it in the oven to warm it up. It tasted good once it was hot though.

I've been here twice, now which is shameful given it's on my doorstep! Happy to say neither time disappointed.The portions are filling and we were not alone in having to take some home, having overstretched with our appetites.I shared my friend's bruchetta starter as there was lots of it; rustic and tasty.I then had a glass of wine and pizza on their lunchtime deal, picked out a few toppings to swap and tucked into about a third before feeling full and carrying the rest off home for later!The staff were charming and accommodating, the wood oven was open for people to see the chef at work and the setting was cosy, but not to packed.All round great impromptu lunch!

Ambitious menu, but wasn't great when it came - bland and soggy. The service, price and desserts weren't bad, nevertheless I won't be coming back here in a hurry.

The quality of the pizza was surprisingly worse than the previous times. The dough felt much different, felt much more dry and thick than the airy thin one that has attracted us to this restaurant in the first place.

A little bit disappointing actually. Had to wait for a while despite there being enough free tables, then after mentioning that my anchovy pizza only had three anchovies, I was promised I would get a replacement but it never arrived. Later on, the waitress just seemed confused about taking our dessert order - like, as if she had never had that interaction before. Desserts were also clearly from the fridge, with the cannoletto being almost stale. The pizza? Well, I prefer a crispier crust and this was a bit more flexible and rubberey. Oh well.

Okay it wasnt a flavour i order or liked, but just the whole effort was super appreciated and the pizza was delicious, ingredients tasted fresh and was quicker delivery than anticipated. Thank you!

Everything was top notch. Would order from again without doubt, enjoyed just as much I would a Franco Manca or Made of Dough
