Honest Burgers in Lambeth

Honestly horrible burgers; disgusting burger. It was grayish in color. The cheese was molded. Lastly, the wings, just look at the photo attached at those boiled, poorly presented wings. Won't recommend this place to anyone.

Great burger with delicious rosemary fries.

We went for the Southbank Burger, made with locally sourced ingredients. It came with a juicy beef patty topped with smoked bacon, Waterloo cheese, garlic pickle, onion, and baby spinach. The flavors were incredible – the smoky bacon and creamy cheese balanced perfectly with the zing of the garlic pickle. For drinks, we picked Brooklyn Brewery beer and fresh apple juice – both hit the spot. The beer had that smooth craft taste that pairs perfectly with a burger, while the apple juice was fresh and crisp. Highly recommend!

Great food, value for money, fast service and the GM Menelaos went above and beyond to serve us, a family of four with two little children. Thank you very much! We will be definitely coming back soon

Realmente sabrosa hamburguesa, patatas fritas y aros de cebolla todo bastante caro, y nos pareció que el restaurante era muy ruidoso con corrientes de aire frío, ya que la puerta se mantuvo abierta muchas veces por los clientes y era - 1 fuera.

Really tasty burger, fries and onion rings all rather pricy, and we found the restaurant was very noisy with cold drafts as the door was kept open many times by customers and it was -1 outside.

Very mixed. We waited because a group of 8 was blocking everything. The waitress took a while to make them wait without bringing in the groups of 2... Then we placed the order after a group came after us (already drinking as we tried to call a waiter.) Adorable, he notes everything, and checks the components for an allergy, asks me if it's OK, perfect. And then, again drama, the order is lost, I don't have the menu AND I don't have the right Burger. And I have to order a drink again because it was forgotten 😑 Anyway, I eat anyway, we pay (so without a menu, I end up with ~£4 more than expected...). But, the attention of the server and the quality-taste of the Burger is notable. So I'm not lowering the rating too much. But I'm disappointed 😞

We ordered three burgers – one beef, two chicken, and one from the kids' menu for my baby. The beef burger and the kids' burger were both very good. The chicken burgers had delicious sauces, but unfortunately, one of them wasn't cooked well; the chicken was tough and felt undercooked. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was good.

A little loud to have a conversation, but food very good, prepared quickly and great service. I would go back immediately. We also have a special menu for children, in which case dishes are prepared without salt etc.

Visited near closing time, food was awesome. The thing with Honest is that with so many locations lately one would assume that there is a compromise in quality too. This is far from the truth. This is not a fast food experience. You can taste that the ingredients are fresh and they dont come vacuum sealed from some central supply warehouse in a huge truck. PS I need my ice with my coke don’t make me ask for it every time 😛

L’atmosfera è informale ma curata, con un tocco di stile che lo rende accogliente e adatto sia a un pranzo veloce che a una serata in compagnia. Il personale è stato fantastico: simpatico, veloce ed estremamente efficiente.  Ma gli hamburger sono stati i veri protagonisti: deliziosi, ben cotti e accompagnati da contorni generosi.  Costo di 4 hamburger + 1 caraffa di Limonata: 74,58 sterline. Consigliato!

I discovered this place during my stay in London, and it was a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is informal but refined, with a touch of style that makes it welcoming and suitable for both a quick lunch and an evening with friends. The staff were fantastic: friendly, fast and extremely efficient. But the burgers were the real stars: delicious, well cooked and accompanied by generous side dishes. Cost of 4 burgers + 1 jug of lemonade: £74.58. Advised!

The food was quiet bad, we had the new recepie The Smash burger. From the first bite I felt that the quality of the meat was really bad, no falvour at all and the whole burger was under the quality as usual. Chips too salty. What I said when I was eating it is "The worst burger ever". Me and my miss felt stomach pain once back home.

The burger and fries are excellent. Delicious. I didn't like the attention. We finished eating and after 5 minutes they brought us the bill without having asked for it. 5 minutes later another waitress came over to ask us if we wanted something else or to pay. We told him that we weren't going to pay yet but that we didn't want anything else to eat. The two waitresses looked every two seconds to see if we were leaving. When I grabbed my backpack to take out my wallet, I didn't finish grabbing it because I already had the waitress in front of me with the card payment device in front of the table. There was no one waiting to eat. We barely spent 30 minutes between sitting down, ordering the food and eating it. It was 8pm and it closes at 10pm. I don't understand the rush. Totally misplaced.

Best hamburger I've ever had in my life. I would travel to London again from the U.S. just to eat this burger–you know, if I had a million dollars. Anyway it was delicious.

Really wanted to come to Honest Burger whilst staying in London as I’ve heard good things about it. I booked in advance but the restaurant was pretty much empty (was 4pm on a Thursday mind you)My partner and I had the Ultimate Cheddar (Beef) burger which was a limited edition burger available until the 18th November 24. Burger came with fries and we also ordered 6x onion rings, a pot of the bacon gravy and for drinks we had a Brooklyn Pilsner larger and a tropical rum punch. Burger was incredible and my partner thinks it might be the best burger she’s ever had which is saying a lot! The Bacon Gravy was incredible too and could have drank that on its own! All burgers are medium rare as well which we were already aware of. They don’t do deserts here (correct me if I’m wrong) which I don’t mind as they are all about the burgers. Will definitely come here again as there are a few scattered round London.

Went on my own for a quick meal, the service was really speedy and efficient. Sat outside, there was a nice breeze and a nice atmosphere, the area felt really safe for me to have my phone out without having to look out for snatchers, which is unusual in central London!

Food is good, although you end up paying more because of the location. Not the most friendly staff, but overall had a good time.

Chicken buffalo burger had more coating then chicken , chips mid , wings the size of my big toe but taste wise banging however idk if the food didn’t agree with me and my 4 mates stomachs or it was just poorly but the meal wrote off all of us my stomach is still in shambles and it’s been nearly 3 hours since we ate . Will never eat here again just another mid burger place stealing money .

Very cozy place, very nice staff and very delicious food. We ordered the Tribute burger and the Buffalo which they serve with fries. Both were delicious and the meat was just as we had ordered. Also highlighting the friendliness of the person who assisted us is appreciated. We took a table without reserving. For all these reasons I recommend the place 100%, when I return to London I will definitely repeat.

I felt that I did not succeed in the quality of meat. They have many types, so choose what suits you 👍🏻 The potatoes were too fat and salty, which I didn't like. The place is nice and the service is excellent And the bathrooms are clean 👍🏻

Visité este restaurante en familia. Es bastante pequeño por dentro y estaba muy ocupado con la gente haciendo cola. ¡Dos de las cuatro hamburguesas estaban crudas por dentro! Planteamos esto con el personal e insistieron en que uno estaba cocinado medio en sus ojos, pero reconocieron que el otro no estaba cocinado. Por lo tanto, pedimos que los dos reemplazos se hicieran medianamente bien. Después de haber esperado 15 minutos llegaron los reemplazos, uno según lo solicitado y el otro medio, que parecía medio raro! Se ofrecieron a reemplazarlo de nuevo y después de otros 15 minutos llegó un reemplazo cocinado adecuadamente. Para ser justos el gerente no nos cobró por las dos hamburguesas que eran incorrectas, pero lamentablemente la experiencia ya era realmente pobre, ya que no podíamos comer juntos en familia. El restaurante está tan ocupado que parece que no se están ocupando de cocinar las hamburguesas correctamente y proporcionar un buen servicio. La atención se centra en dar la vuelta a las mesas lo más rápido posible.

Good burgers at a good price. They come with very delicious potatoes seasoned with spices. Highly recommended site for London prices. In case you are interested, the tap water is very good and they give you free jugs.

If you want a great burger at the end of a great day, I happily recommend Honest Burgers at the Southbank Centre by the Royal Festival Hall. It's one of the best Burgers I've ever eaten, and I've eaten quite a few.

I ordered a takeaway here two days in a row while in this part of town for dinner. It was a really easy to walk to the shop, order what I wanted and get it to go. Very friendly staff.

Honest burgers, but NOT SO HONEST staff. We visited in June of this year. We arrived (party of 2) and were places in a queue at the door, we were told it should be about 15 mins. About 10 minutes later, two ladies joined the queue and stood behind us to wait. After about 5 mins, one of the ladies went to the hostess and told her “can you just seat us quickly and we won’t tell anyone” the hostess then said “ok go stand in queue (this was behind us again) and i will call yall over.” After about 30 secs they were called to be seated. I immediately went to the hostess and her response was “oh I thought you left” this is after looking at me dead in the eye and calling the girls behind us. Ask to speak to her manager and basically the manager sided with her, said that she is new and made a mistake and that she thought we left. I told her we would like to be seated now, she said she only had seats in the window (stools) or outside. I let her know that we would be leaving a 1 star review, her response “well then you should find somewhere else to eat if that’s your intention.” We were starving and had just come off an 11 hour flight and it was one of the few places that offered a vegetarian burger nearby. So we ended up sitting outside in the cold and drizzling rain, while the customers behind us enjoyed a prime seat in the warm restaurant. Eventually we asked to move as the weather and temperature weren’t ideal. The food is honestly great, but not worth it with that service.

Female staff was so rude. We ordered single smash burger, they’ve given us double. When we told them they said we’re not going to charge you so take one of them off. When we asked for a bill they’ve actually charged us for double which was a shame! We told them about the mistake and a very rude lady who works in bar said “ok the difference won’t make us cheap or poor, now would you like me to give you the difference”!!!! I’m so sorry for your attitude. Be careful if you have to speak with her, she is soooo rude

Excellent food and service. The food is of quality and reasonable price. We met a Spanish waiter who was very friendly. The best thing of all if you are cel·liaco is that they can make the entire menu gluten-free, you just have to inform the service. My celiac son liked the food so much that the other day we went to the honest buffer in South Kensington and the experience was just as good. Of course, you have to go early or make a reservation because it is usually very full, in our case we had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was worth it.

Food was decent. It’s an above average burger chips are average. Service was poor maybe it’s cos they were busy. But came with two children. Their kids drinks and food came out 10 minutes after the adult food. Server never checked on us and chucked food infront of us and was quite rude.

It was my 3rd time in Honest burger but 1st in this location and definietely will not come back here. The burger was dark from one side, and the fries looked like the leftovers from someone else's plate. The taste of the burger was ok despite the fact it was with burned cheese (I guess they didn't clean burned cheese from the grill and just put the meat on it). The waitress was very nice but we had to ask twice to get napkins and fork, didn't get it at all.

This was a nice place to stop while walking along the Thames. The burgers were good and I really liked the onion rings. The portion sizes were also nice — not too big or too small.

So there is a special offer for the Smashed burger and rosemary fries for 9.50. Having not had a smashed burger before I thought Honest Burger would be a good place to try it. Was terribly disappointed probably the worst burger I’ve had from there. You’ve got this thin lifeless patty with hardly any dressing or filling. And what’s up with these oversalted rosemary fries? They were practically inedible and they had bring another portion with the rosemary salt separately. This seems to be a consistent problem throughout the branches. I’ve had some good burgers in the past from Honest but this is not one of them. I will have to look elsewhere for my smashed burger experience. This is definitely not what the hype is about.

Great burgers, kids loved it too. Gluten free bread was a big plus and it tasted good. There were a lot of issues paying the bill, their system had almost 1 hour down time and we had to wait for quite a while to leave.

Found it almost by chance while looking for a burger in London. The sandwiches are amazing and the chips are no different! The beers are also good. Absolutely recommended! Truly a nice surprise

Honest Burger on the South Bank. The store is not large, so you may have to wait if there are a lot of people. It would be nice to go for a walk along the South Bank.

Drink, burger and fries all good. Rum punch great. Wings were amazing! That sauce that came with the wings was great with the fries! Not a fan of the rosemary on the fries, but that’s a minor complaint.

Honest è una catena di “Burger restaurants” che propone una carne di alta qualità. I “panini” sono accompagnati da patatine fritte superlative. Propongono varie “draft” beer tra cui la famosa lager Brooklyn di New York. Per chi è amante di questa tipologia di cibo è assolutamente consigliato. Personale giovane e gentilissimo.
