I got the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich with chips. The chicken was extremely crispy and tasted great. Maybe even a little too much on the breading. The chips were the standout of my meal. Very nice texture. Crispy on the outside and pillowy inside. I will be trying out the beef burger next time!

Left an uber eat order ticking over for an hour before they suddenly ran into a problem just as it was being “picked up”. Useless - Avoid.

Great Gluten Free burger and onion rings

Had a great time at this spot! The burger was juicy and cooked well, with fresh toppings and a soft, toasted bun. The side salad was a nice surprise crispy greens topped with what looked like fried onions for an extra crunch. The onion rings were thick, golden and had a satisfying bite to them not greasy at all. Staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I’ve seen them around as a franchise and will definitely be visiting the one in my hometown.

The place is NOT suitable for celiacs, as they correctly declare in the allergens section of their website and they also say on site they cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination from gluten.

Honest Burgers was good. We stopped by while in London. We were informed that most everything is Gluten free except some of the burger buns. We had the Honest burgers with fries and a side of onion rings. Very good.

Reasonably priced, the South Bank beef burger was tasty, well cooked and good combination of decent flavours. I think we got the bottom of the bag for fries as about 1/4 of our portions were small little scraps. No seasoning on the table. Fries were average. Service was friendly. If fries were better they could compete with 5 guys

The staff were friendly, quick, and welcoming. Even during peak time, the service was efficient without feeling rushed. What I really like about Honest is the consistency across locations, and South Bank is no exception. Great options for vegetarians too, and a solid drink menu if you're in the mood for something extra. This place is a reliable go-to, whether you’re out sightseeing or just craving a quality burger. Highly recommended for anyone in the area – Honest Burgers South Bank gets it right.

Cozy place, with trained gluten-free staff. The menu offers the option of gluten free even for fried foods, which was a very pleasant surprise. My mother and I went there walking by chance, Simone, a very kind boy who served us for dinner, welcomed us and immediately put me at ease as he was very knowledgeable about gluten free. Highly recommended for celiacs and others, my mother took the classic sandwich and her rating was very positive. The cocktails are also definitely worth trying!!

From the moment I entered, the rustic ambiance provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The entire staff were attentive and kind, with special recognition for Dionne, whose warmth and care truly stood out. She was reassuring in her steadfastness that everything—aside from the non-gluten buns—was entirely gluten-free, instilling a deep sense of trust and ease. As someone with coeliac disease, dining out can be a challenge. It’s been over a decade since I could safely enjoy anything deep-fried, so I approached the gluten-free BBQ chicken tenders with caution—and left absolutely amazed. The tenders were a highlight: beautifully crisp, full of smoky-sweet barbecue flavour, and—most importantly—entirely safe for someone as sensitive to cross-contamination as I am. Each bite brought back a joy I hadn’t tasted in years. The culinary journey didn’t end there. I also indulged in the Tribute Burger with rosemary salted chips. The beef patty was cooked to perfection, its rich, savoury notes harmonising exquisitely with the accompaniments. The Tribute Burger features Honest beef, bacon, American cheese, burger sauce, French’s mustard, pickles, onion, and lettuce. Really good food, unfortunately let down by poor service. Not even a hello from the waiter, just a "What do you want?" when they appeared at the table. Drinks delivered without a word and without looking at/acknowledging anyone. At least the person serving our food was friendly and polite, although they did forget my chips (which never turned up). We did visit at peak time on a Saturday, however, having visited neighbouring restaurants at similar times, we've never had this experience before and expected better.

Went in with my 12 y-old son for a quick dinner after spending half a day at St Thomas. The place was not super busy at 6PM. Quick service. The Chicken stack burger was very disappointing: whether the chicken filets were deep fried or air fried, it made the crispy batter super hard and chicken dry. The american cheese slice had been slapped on it and not melted! The honest burger was as its name; honest. Meat was cooked medium rare as asked. Chips were pretty average. With the plethora of great burgers around, Honest Burgers, you need to up your game.

Decent burger, the fries were cooked twice as they were dry. The restaurant was cold. We had to dine with coats on, so when I received the bill I asked the waiter to remove the service charge for that reason and the waiter didn’t even apologise. I never come back again at this branch!

A straightforward menu, but you can eat for a reasonable price here considering it's in the centre of London. Portions were good too.

I tried to eat here and was told to sit myself. We waited and waited for someone to take our food and we were just ignored. People around us would sit and quickly had their orders taken. We ended up just leaving. I don't recommend this place at all.

Our second visit to this branch. We chose the limited edition Raclette burger and had the smash style. Quality of the food was disappointing this time. Patties were burnt and bitter on the edges and dry. Buns were small - we thought they were kiddies portions. Chips were okay. Service was good and quick though. Music was a bit loud - it didn't help that we were sat under the speakers. It became lively as it got busy. Reasonably priced and tasty cocktails.

The older, shorter woman (with light hair) was my waiter. She asked me if i had any allergies and i listed ‘pineapples, kiwis, and passion fruit.’ She became extremely angry because she said, “That’s not one of the 14 allergens” and stated “Pineapples? That’s just a personal allergy”. I was so confused because I have never been to a restaurant and been told off for telling them my allergies especially when they specifically asked. Also, i ordered a juice that’s why I thought it was necessary I should mention my fruit allergies. The food was good, but after that terrible experience while ordering, it just ruined my whole meal. Shouldn’t the staff be on the ‘better safe than sorry’ side?

Best cheat meal, tribute burger with Honest’s signature rosmary chips are all you need, meat is juicy and cooked to perfection, chips are crispy, all flavours together are delicious. Staff are nice and attentive and you don’t have to wait long to get a proper burger.

Honestly horrible burgers; disgusting burger. It was grayish in color. The cheese was molded. Lastly, the wings, just look at the photo attached at those boiled, poorly presented wings. Won't recommend this place to anyone.

Great burger with delicious rosemary fries.

We went for the Southbank Burger, made with locally sourced ingredients. It came with a juicy beef patty topped with smoked bacon, Waterloo cheese, garlic pickle, onion, and baby spinach. The flavors were incredible – the smoky bacon and creamy cheese balanced perfectly with the zing of the garlic pickle. For drinks, we picked Brooklyn Brewery beer and fresh apple juice – both hit the spot. The beer had that smooth craft taste that pairs perfectly with a burger, while the apple juice was fresh and crisp. Highly recommend!

Really tasty burger, fries and onion rings all rather pricy, and we found the restaurant was very noisy with cold drafts as the door was kept open many times by customers and it was -1 outside.

Very mixed. We waited because a group of 8 was blocking everything. The waitress took a while to make them wait without bringing in the groups of 2... Then we placed the order after a group came after us (already drinking as we tried to call a waiter.) Adorable, he notes everything, and checks the components for an allergy, asks me if it's OK, perfect. And then, again drama, the order is lost, I don't have the menu AND I don't have the right Burger. And I have to order a drink again because it was forgotten 😑 Anyway, I eat anyway, we pay (so without a menu, I end up with ~£4 more than expected...). But, the attention of the server and the quality-taste of the Burger is notable. So I'm not lowering the rating too much. But I'm disappointed 😞

We ordered three burgers – one beef, two chicken, and one from the kids' menu for my baby. The beef burger and the kids' burger were both very good. The chicken burgers had delicious sauces, but unfortunately, one of them wasn't cooked well; the chicken was tough and felt undercooked. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was good.

Visited near closing time, food was awesome. The thing with Honest is that with so many locations lately one would assume that there is a compromise in quality too. This is far from the truth. This is not a fast food experience. You can taste that the ingredients are fresh and they dont come vacuum sealed from some central supply warehouse in a huge truck. PS I need my ice with my coke don’t make me ask for it every time 😛

The staff were fantastic: friendly, fast and extremely efficient. But the burgers were the real stars: delicious, well cooked and accompanied by generous side dishes. Cost of 4 burgers + 1 jug of lemonade: £74.58. Advised!

Il personale è stato fantastico: simpatico, veloce ed estremamente efficiente.  Ma gli hamburger sono stati i veri protagonisti: deliziosi, ben cotti e accompagnati da contorni generosi.  Costo di 4 hamburger + 1 caraffa di Limonata: 74,58 sterline.
