The best restaurants in Cremorne Kensington and Chelsea London

All things considered (including the price), this is, pound for pound, one of the best restaurants in London and it is nothing less than a tragedy that it is shortly going to close. I feel very bad (particularly now) that I have not previously left a review. We have been there many times (including with groups who had never visited before) and the feedback has been ubiquitously (and rightly) glowing. The food is sensational (and significantly better than in a lot of "fancier" places that would charge at least twice as much) and Jonathan is an extraordinarily welcoming and charming host who enhances everyone's experience. They were very unlucky with COVID and historically this location has been difficult for restaurants. The restaurant has often not seemed as busy as it ought to be (given how good it is) and I can completely understand their decision. But Chelsea is about to lose an absolute jewel.

Cafe Pier do the best cheese and ham toasties and amazing coffee - perfect spot to go to in Chelsea right on the water. The owners Melis and Cem are sooooo nice. Can also be used for private events - I plan to do my next birthday there!!!

EDIT: downgrading to 4* - still one of my favorite jazz clubs in London, but the bill was wrong on two separate visits… not sure if I’m just unlucky, but in any case, DO CHECK YOUR BILL CAREFULLY. Service isn’t great: not very friendly and slow. The owner isn’t very friendly either. Lastly, the closest station is Imperial Wharf, which isn’t very well connected in the evening. It’s a trek but worth it for the music. === Underground venue, great jazz, good food. Can’t wait to be back! Only thing to be aware of is that they don’t let you have alcoholic drinks unless you’re a member (160/yr) or you’re having dinner (and I don’t think you can book a table unless you’re having dinner either).

Absolutely beautiful restaurant - the food was delicious and the staff charming. We had the Sunday roast (on a Saturday) and the roast potatoes were the best I'd tasted. Thanks very much xx

Not too good italian food, the waitress was rude to us not kind. The guy from the door was really nice with us though. It is a place for a drink, but not for food. Really cool the seat but nothing special.

Such a great find. The menu is full of true Italian classics, well prepared and impeccably served. There is a great value set menu (not sunday) which doesn’t compromise on portion sizes and offers around 8 starters and 8 mains. Service is efficient but friendly. Since discovering this restaurant I’ve returned a number of times and bought friends too. Come and enjoy - you won’t be disappointed 😊

Visité con mi esposa y mi hija de 6 años. Gran bienvenida y servicio rápido de un equipo amable. La comida era muy buena, así como las bebidas. Mi único comentario negativo es ¿por qué un restaurante se negaría a servir a un niño de 6 años con una pequeña porción de pasta? Entendería si fuera algo así como un filete o similar, pero media porción de pasta de espagueti es tan fácil. Obviamente se reduce a no querer cobrar menos. Nunca he estado en un restaurante donde se hace una negativa a servir a un niño una pequeña porción, de ahí la baja puntuación de la crítica.

Had been looking forward to an acai verde bowl all day. Visited at 5.30 ish and when my order arrived it was almost liquid (it’s usually like firm ice cream). I mentioned it to a member of staff at the till and he was really apologetic and explained it was something to do with their freezers, so he offered to refund me. But then he worked out that he could make me a regular acai bowl (which was still properly frozen) and add spirulina, so they did that instead. And gave me the original one to take home and freeze. I was really impressed that they made such an effort to give me what I wanted. It’s rare these days. A big thank you.

The owner didn't seem happy to see us when we entered the place. Food was mediocre.

Really enjoyable little cafe and the food and service was really excellent. The menu is very interesting and we will defo come back for lunch some day. Recommended

Flawless. Beautiful location, lovely staff, the main and desser was delicious, the best roast I’ve had. I cannot fault my time there and will be back
