Fantastic intimate venue. It was one of the best nights in a while. Given the quality of food and music, it's was well worth the price !

Best venue for jazz in London! Always quality act performances, the most incredible atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly and lovely. Food is delicious, drinks are on point. I highly recommend.

Incredible and immersive experience in local culture. Friendly staff, receptive audience, excellent sound and music and a good enough menu (it's not a French restaurant, you already know that). There are limited places, book in advance and answer your cell phone when they call you to confirm. If your English is not very good, use WhatsApp to confirm the reservation.

Great live music and a fun night overall. We had a group booking for a birthday and all staff helped with the cake. Tom was great at managing this. The band, Tobago & D'lime were brilliant!! Happy there was a vegan/plantbased food option on the menu (set menu option only), however they ran out of cheese for nachos. The soup was okay, and the lentil burger is served as a patty with salad on the side (no bread), which was still tasty.

First off, to make a reservation you have to email and wait on someone to get back to you. You HAVE to order a meal, non members cannot just come for a show and drink. My biggest issues: - The place could do with some upgrades, seats are uncomfortable and honestly it’s a bit of a dump I can’t lie. - The food was not good. Like at all. - Took FOREVER for anyone to tend to us. - When the show starts they dim the lights ( which is fine) but you can’t even read the menu, and when your food comes you’re struggling to eat in the dark. Annoying! - I have a specific allergy which I made sure to tell the waiter and yet my plate arrived with said thing I’m allergic to on it (thank god I had the sense to use my phones flash light to look before I started eating) had to send it back and wait forever again to get a new plate. I was so disappointed. Giving 2 stars only because the live performance was decent. I feel like if you’re going to see a specific live show then it’s tolerable but for a nice random evening out, there are a lot other better options. Definitely gives old run down pub vibes and a very aged crowd.

Food really average and the night when we went supposed to be Stevie Wonder music in fact it was a karaoke of Stevie Wonder. For two meals and some drink we end up paying £186 , where after coming back home we discovered that the actual receipt was £160. Barman gave us different receipt and he put a different amount in card machine. Really not great experience as we expect from apparently one of the best jazz club in London .

Not my vibe.... this place is giving old pub, conservative, old vibes. Food was nothing special. The live music was good though. I definitely prefer the live music bars in lively soho area. This one seems more residential, many local people...

Joe Webb Quintet “5 A SIDE” refreshing and wide-ranging rep gave a packed & happy 606 house real value for money last night! His friendly compèring and lead very much appreciated - and effective in bringing out some great solos from his delightful line-up - thank you & 🎶🎶🎶.

Love this jazz venue which started off in the King's Road (number 606 actually). Always old and new jazz musicians of the absolute very best from world wide. Saw Jim Mullen again last Wednesday eve with Peter Bernstein from NYC, Jim's favourite jazz guitarist. Jim also plays in Kokomo, a soul funk jazz 10 piece, featuring vocalist friend Frank C. Frank introduced me to J.Ms wife Zoe who is a jazz singer in her own right... You have to book a table. Go with friends, BUT Steve Ruby the owner won't let you chat during a performance, you have been warned!!! It's his religion. But do go..

Like stepping back in time to a pre smart phone era! Yes there was a bit of filming going on but in a subtle way...love coming here with my dad who is a member!

Love 606. It's a bit raw, but very intimate. Every seat is close to the music ... the performers are right there. Good food & drink ... it's a fabulous evening out. Really enjoyed Louise Balkwill, Jonathan Bauer and band. Nice one, guys.

Entering this pub you can breathe an air of times gone by, the location is very suggestive and the musical evenings are truly high quality. Excellent food and extremely friendly staff

Back to the 606 Club after a decade. Loved the music, the food and the drinks and we had a very special time there. What an amazing place for a Sunday lunch!!

My husband and I went to this club recently for our Anniversary dinner and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food and service were excellent and the band were awesome too. A great way to support British Artists at a reasonable price,at the same time. We plan to visit again very soon.

The 606 is a little hidden gem. There are often fantastic musicians playing and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I haven't eaten there very often but the people I've spoken to who have, say the food is high quality if a little expensive. Recommended 👍

Great Club! Down in the depths at Lots Road, Chelsea. The door looks like the back gate to a prison, but once through the door it's a nice, compact basement venue. Tables get you very close to the stage. Sound and lighting is good. Small bar at back and table service for a meal. Night out here will cost you £40-£50 a head depending. Strongly recommended

Was looking for something to do in London on a Sunday night and this was the best surprise of my trip. Everyone was super friendly, service was great, and the music was amazing. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town.

Expect a great show while dining and drinking. Atmosphere and enjoyment are definitely 5* however the food was ok, so the 4* rank is because of the food.

Awful food. Poorly cooked and very expensive and not enough. We were three in number and had 3 beers and a so called Thai chicken each. Sauce out of a cheap bottle - bland and boiled chicken added. Cost excluding music charge £120! The sound system needs updating. The atmosphere was nice. There is no point in commenting on the music as this is subjective.

A proper jazz club, small tables close to each other for intimate atmosphere, always offering live jazz music. Attended a recent Samara gig, was brilliant. Food menu for this type of place really great , decent prices for London, don't expect fine dining. Excellent service

Great venue, and the food was spectacular. Service was rapid and polite. The sound from the band was excellent, I think a little bass heavy on occasion, but it was Shez Raja on stage 😅

Surely between the top 5 jazz clubs in London. Excellent musicians, good food, and very friendly and professional service. I went a couple of times and book the table on the same day over the phone but probably is better to do it in advance. Prices fpr food are fair and the music is paid separate which in our case was £20. The band the night was fantastic...maily sax player who was really a pleasure to hear while nodding. They have a bar with some selection of drinks and simple cocktails. It is ok as the main attraction is music.

I had a fabulous time and the music was great also the food was divine. 10 to the staff. I will recommend it to my friends.

Great atmosphere, very unique for Chelsea. The staff are lovely and are happy to help with any questions. The food came out quickly and was very reasonably priced. The wine selection was also good. We were able to sit at the front and would recommend getting a bottle of wine for the show, as it’s difficult for the servers to get to you.

Limited menu, excellent staff, excellent chef. Basement location, low profile entrance. Easy to miss.

05/17/2023. We booked at 606 without knowing the location, only because of the information we found on the internet. We were looking for a Jazz club with history and atmosphere where we could go to dinner and see live music. On the days that we were going to be in London, almost fresh off the plane, a performance of Phil Mulford's 'Thunderthumbs' coincided with us. The experience exceeded all of our expectations. I recommend it 100%. The place has all the charm of the old clubs, the staff was attentive, the band was fabulous (not in vain is it made up of very high-level musicians who have collaborated with internationally renowned artists). The sound quality was surprisingly good (it is not easy to provide sound for a band of these characteristics in a venue like this), ten musicians on stage with absolute detail in listening. The food is not the best, but it is reasonably good. Keep in mind that the venue's license requires non-members by law to make reservations for dinner if you wish to drink alcoholic beverages; On their website they report all this. For us, who live music very intensely, it was an unforgettable experience. Visit the place and enjoy everything it offers, which is a lot, so we also help ensure that these jewels are not lost.

For a raw classy jazz experience in London, look no further here. It feels like time has stopped, and you can really appreciate the music and atmosphere

We got a fantastic night, the Jazz concert was beautiful and the food was ok. The night we were there, the group Neil Angilley Trio played, absolutely gorgeous. The pianist is the best jazz piano player I’ve ever seen!! Thank you club 606!!!

Went to see Wayne Hernandez: all well, until they decided to massively crank up the volume, to a level that made it impossible to distinguish the instruments in the 7 piece ensemble - just loud noise. Add to that an unimaginative drummer banging on his snare drum like a dyspeptic metronome, and the mediocrity of the penitentiary food served at eye watering prices... not great! The manager did not like our feedback - defensive like an angry chihuahua, and probably audio deficient by now - so don't expect things to change any time soon... A real pity, as the place used to be great and could still be with a little effort and musical taste.

This is one of the small number of great jazz venues in London, helped by the fact that the owner is an affirmed bebop fanatic. The food is good, the drinks list is fine but the Manager .. be prepared … he is straight out of the Van Morrison Charm School … enough said (hence 4 not 5 stars)

Meal is not crazy good, but you go there for the music and that is top level.

If you like live music is such a great place. Bit of an older crowd (60’s/70’s) but lots of people really enjoying the musicians- thought the pianist and guitar guys were on another level but most went for the saxophonist and loved the triangle /tambourine guy. Food a bit basic but does the job

Possibly the best club in London. Its size, location, setup, staff, management and gig quality make a uniquely brilliant combination. I have been there half a dozen times and always had a blast. Nowhere else have I been this close to the musicians and had that much fun. 7 nights a week and line up is consistently impressive. Member rates reasonable and benefits excellent. This is a unique club with a lot of history that you must discover!

Was there for a specific performance, but heard that their food was also good. And as a carnivore I can confirm that my steak 🥩 was excellent! 👌🏼

A great experience! The 606 is cosy and atmospheric. The food was very good, and served quickly. Attentive staff ensured that glasses didn't stay empty for long. The sound was excellent, as were the views of the nowhere distant stage. All in all, highly recommended

Hidden gem of a place for jazz. Honestly one of the best jazz clubs I’ve visited in London. Good dinner, but nothing fancy, and intimate setting. The stage is on the same level as everyone else and it’s such a friendly atmosphere with other likeminded jazz enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

The visit was intended to be watching the live performance of a jazz ensemble while f&b was considered secondary. Apart from the decent sounding acoustics of the venue, food turned out to be a pleasant surprise too. The tables are placed close to each other to understandably maxmise floor space but the feelings of being packed are the last to be felt. An incredible place to enjoy a meal with great music.

Proper old-style jazz club, with tables and full menu. (It's compulsory to order at least a main course per person). Not sure why as a Londoner of 45 years I'd never been here before, but I'll certainly be re-visiting.

We went to see Liane Carroll, didn't know much about the club. We were delighted with both. The food, service & atmosphere were superb. Liane and Ian Shaw were excellent, a thoroughly enjoyable evening to end London Jazz week. Must go again!

Great food, great jazz experience. The owner is a very nice person, who you can tell loves what he does and have a passion for jazz. I have been twice in the place and both times had a wonderful evening meal and concert. Would recommend either for jazz lovers or if you’re trying something different.
