Went to Nama last night, the food was amazing but the service was shockingly slow. It took ages for someone to come to take the order, the drinks came out a very long time after that, and the food took about an hour to come. Absolutely unacceptable - there were only 2 people serviing upstairs and downstairs. The ladies making the food didn't look like they were in any rush at all and the time it took for the food to come confirmed their overly relaxed attitide. I am not sure if I will go back there anytime soon which is such as shame as I always love going to Nama.

Overall a good vegan experience but for someone like me (all rounder good food seeker) could feel a bit awkward since nothing is cooked. Very tasty and flavoursome smoothies, some of the food is good enough and the deserts really interesting to try. Service is helpful and polite, the ladies will explain every dish for you.

We visited Nama with family who are strictly vegan. We’ve visited many vegetarian restaurants in the past but only a few vegan restaurants. The fact that Nama’s menu is ‘raw’ (nothing is cooked above 42 degrees) doesn’t impact at all on the offering.

The stars I give this place are for the food and the staff. They both far and away outstrip the place itself. On arrival we thought the restaurant was closed as the main window and door were completely opaque with condensation. We entered and were shown downstairs. I made the mistake of using the handrail. I didn't make the same mistake on the way back up again. Grimy past all. The stairway and surrounding areas all need a good clean. Our table was in line with the office door which needed either a good clean or a repaint. The corner near the door looked really filthy and there looked to be some waste bins on the wall outside the door. Not a good look but not as bad as when a member of staff sauntered through the door and left it open. A view of piled up bog or kitchen rolls, heaps of polythene and other detritus is not what you want to look at while dining. This is not a cheap eats place so someone needs to get a grip of the hygiene and overall management. The food is stellar no doubt and the staff are very friendly and polite so come on guys sort it. Also there is zero atmosphere.

Went here for dinner on a weeknight and I was really surprised by the food and the atmosphere. Having heard of this place in Time Out and only recently having become vegan, I was intrigued. The place has a very chilled vibe, rather a café than a restaurant. The seating was quite reserved but there weren't that many people inside so we got a table immediately. The menu offered a wide selection of appetising dishes that didn't allude too much at meat (I find it weird when vegan joints offer "fried chicken" and "tofurkey"). They don't cook their food above 42°C and I didn't know what to make of that. The guacamole and crackers we had to share were absolutely delicious; they were a bit like cheesy oatcakes. As a main I got the pizza and that was underwhelming (only two small slices and I would have liked more). The dessert though, that was out of this world. I had a salted caramel chocolate cake and tried a bit of these lemon swirl, both of which were excellent. Definitely recommend the dessert. But as a main you'd be better off ordering the lasagna. In terms of value for money it was a really nice meal but would have liked to see bigger portion. It's great for a treat but if you're really hungry definitely get a starter as well. The staff were really friendly and nice, it helped that there place was about half empty so we didn't have to wait too long for food. All in all a lovely little cozy find in the heart of Notting Hill. Great for trying out vegan dishes you probably wouldn't make yourself.

I've been raw vegan for three years so was pretty excited to visit this place and indulge a little. The staff were welcoming and after sitting down and browsing the menu I was absolutely spoilt for choice with so many things I wanted to try. Eventually I settled on two items that looked especially good: a Mexican wrap cos it just sounded nice and The Full English out of curiosity. The wrap was great, very tasty and presented really well. The Full English looked pretty impressive and was nice but very salty and didn't really compare to the wrap. They definitely imitated a full English well but the taste of the meal didn't overly impress and felt quite processed. Also, as is often the case with raw restaurants, it definitely leaves a hole in your pocket for such small portion sizes, but the sheer ambition and inventiveness of the dishes on offer here is impressive, so I'd definitely go again to try some other items.

Food at its best. The food speaks for itself - this food can heal you. Most people forget that we should feel energised and satisfied after eating/drinking- not sluggish and undernourished. You get what you pay for and although some may find portion sizes small, this is a dining experience which offers a doorway into a happier and healthier lifestyle. Nama is a beacon for health and enjoyment through food...try the superfood latte! The smoothies are all amazing. Really you could close your eyes and point at anything on the menu and not be disappointed. We get completely new taste buds approximately every 10 days so if your current diet is particularly toxic you may not enjoy the food as much but after one visit your body will have you desiring to return for more sustenance from here. I was really excited to go to this restaurant and try a couple of their statement dishes and happy to pay the prices for quality (and quantity is never a bad thing!) However after ordering our olives which was £4 we did expect more than 6 olives in the tiniest little dish ever.. Then out came the famous fish and chips. To tell you the truth, I donàt know why you would call that fish and chips as there seems to be no marination of the aubergine and actually its not even a pleasant taste.. The saving grace was the red wine and the lasagne was good to see how vegan lasagne can be done. Overall I was quite disappointed :(

We went here for a breakfast last Sunday. We are life long vegetarians but not vegan. I do not even eat salads (unless made of steamed veggies) so this was a new experience. Ours is foodie family including my 12 year old and we thought the breakfast was amazing. We had the full English, avo toast and the pancake platter. Every dish was absolutely delicious and super innovative. But beware, the portions sizes are tiny and it is very pricey. It was too little for my husband and son and they ordered a second round of breakfast. Three smoothies set us back by 20£. If you want to try raw food but not sure what to expect (and willing to cough up the money) definitely try NAMA. Oh, the setting was like a hospital ward - all white and plastic chairs etc. For the price, I'm sure they can improve the decor.

Was looking for a new Raw food restaurant since Saf closed down in London, this place does not disappoint, the food is just amazing, the taste explosions when you eat some of these dishes is just a must do once in a lifetime experience for those that think raw is just, lettuce and carrot sticks. This is artisan food at it's best, you will be hard pushed to find a more fulfilling experience when it comes to taste. It is a small cafe but so welcoming and and it does have an ecliptic clientele, but that is part of the charm of the place, they even sell raw products, and the Macadamia nut oil is simple amazing, almost has a taste of bacon, a savoury quality to it.If you have never tried raw then take the plunge i promise you will not regret it.

Been here before and had a good experience then - thought we would use the timeout offer again.Menu has changed unfort for the worse since the last time we came with the timeout offer.... no pizza - boo....Had a coconut curry - it was dreadful... in fact the waiter had told me he didn't like it... I should've listened to him. Totally unedible.... Had two waiters serving us - and essentially repeating what the last one had said... ie. asking for timeout paperwork, asking about orders and I think this was possibly a cause why we ending up waiting 1hr 50min and still hadn't received the dessert... eventually I got up and told them and it came within 2min - they said it was something to do with a new system....I think they had just forgotten as we both waiters asking about this a few times and once even asked if we had already had the dessert....For waiting 2hours for a so so meal for my partner and a poor meal I had - it's a complete waste of time and money unfort. Dessert was the best thing....Sorry guys - think you've let yourselves down this time.

ill start by saying if it was based purely on food nama gets 20 out of 10 easy, i doubt you would ever have a bad meal there but then again you cant really get raw food wrong i dont think....i apologize in advance for the novel ahead but want to paint the picture.....beyond the food its the same old same old, this was our second time in the past couple of months and just like the last time the food was fantastic but everything else is a joke.My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and booked in for 630, thought it was 615 and were there at 545, the bearded fellow was great and said we could sit down and look through the menu but that they have change over from 5-6 which was more than fine.Looking through the menu we noticed alot of the dishes we remembered seeing last time werent on there, questioning we were told it was right. We ended up ordering a smoothie to be told they didnt have it, it was just a basic fruit smoothie i cant recall the name but not like was the superfood ones or anything so was strange. so ordered a kombucha...it never came, about 20 minutes in i asked the lady standing around behind the bar if drinks were made downstairs or what the hold up was and she then ripped the ticket off and started making it.....the two tables next to us both had to ask for waters and wines they had ordered as well....drink was brought to us and for £4.5 i was shocked, literally two mouthfuls and i am being generous....the value certainly isnt there.flagged down the gentleman that seated us and told him what we wanted as it was clear we were forgotten so ordered the cheese board, raw bread and sauerkraut. then asked about mains, we wanted the curry which we were told was sold out, so smoothies and curry unavailable at the start of dinner service on a saturday night, the most expensive dish unavailable, curious. we then were looking through the menu and the gentleman noticed we didnt even have the right menus!!! so we said we would look through while we waited for starter....cheese board came, but no raw bread and no sauerkraut! had to ask and they took AGES to arrive, we were half done with the cheese board when it finally came! the sauerkraut i kid you not was a mouthful, and at £4 its utterly ridiculous i understand where we are at and its a unique place but £4 for a mouthful of sauerkraut is nonsense so if you go dont waste your time.We ordered a few mains, the fish and chips, wouldnt recommend very seaweed taste in the breading which is obviously how its meant to to be but not for us, the sweet potato fries looked like they were covered in a very peppery type b12 nutritional yeast which ruined them...the 'tartar' on the fish didnt work for us....the cannelloni and the no meat feast pizza were fantastic, the pizza especially was life changingly good.Flagged the bearded waiter down again, as they certainly dont come to you! and asked about items to go and if you could get the figs that came with the cheese board to go he said he would ask and came back and said you could would be just a small charge. Ended up going to the bar and ordered some things to go, a couple pizzas for the kids to have and the cheese and crackers and a portion of raw bread...we knew our kids wouldnt like the green cheese that was on the board as the lady that checked us out said the cheese and crackers are just like the cheese board minus the olives, figs and chutney sauce so i said can i have two of the yellow cheese and 1 of the spicy orange cheese instead of the greeny color cheese, she asked me what the cheese was i said i had no idea what flavor just the color. didnt have to wait to long for the to go items which was good but of course when it came they were not right, they had put the blue cheese in instead of the orange/yellow cheese and there was only two pieces? i ended up speaking to the guy that was the manager supposedly and said it wasnt right so he went and sorted it, he came back and said i had asked for the herby cheese , which is supposedly what the green one is and i said i dont know what they are i just said i didnt want the green but to sub it for the mild tasting yellow one, he said we dont put the cheddar(which is the mild of the two yellow cheeses on the cheese board) in the cheese and cracker option. asked him what the other cheese was and it was chipotle only got one of each so not as the girl told me! the bearded fellow then came up with the two portions of the figs i asked for and put them on the bill, as i paid i looked through and for the figs which again were a very small portion each one was £4!!!!?!?!?! £8 for two tiny cups of figs, outrageous! i went to use the toilet before paying and just like last time it was an absolute dump, artisan restaurant and you could have took a dump on the floor and it wouldnt have looked out of place, toilet paper everywhere empty soap the walls are white but you wouldnt know it they are so filthy, a posh raw artisan restaurant and the toilet looks like something from a truck stop! how it passes hygiene regulations i have no idea!went to pay and they like to add a service charge, which is optional, i said no to it and the bearded gentleman asked why? i looked at him and thought to myself, are you seriously asking why? So i said, you didnt have the smoothies, no curry, the bread and saurkraut came half way through the cheese board we wanted to eat them with, we had the wrong menu, the to go order was incorrect and was advised incorrectly and the prices for a side order of figs was day light robbery......and to top it all off the toilet was just as it was when we came 3 months ago!i sincerely hope the owners care enough to read these reviews as there are a few that stress how poor the service of the place is, and it cant be down to being busy as it was quite quiet for a Saturday. The staff need serious training in what each dish is, you DONT get 3 cheeses in the cheese and crackers and for that i wonder why? the cheese board is 15.50 with 3 cheeses olives, figs, chutney and a couple more crackers than you get on the just cheese and cracker option yet its 9.50 for 2 portion of cheese and a few crackers.....the figs priced at £4 it all just doesnt add up and feels an immense rip off for the cheese and crackers on their own, yet you get less? Again, i get that its london and very high end high priced but one cant help but feeling its being used as a cash cow and the care and attention isnt really given. You definitely see this in the seating arrangements as well, your stacked up like fire wood, you go as a couple but sit with a group the tables are that close. Upon leaving we noticed there was seating downstairs so maybe its better down there. Please! Please! Please! paint and tidy the toilet. We will be back again, only because its hard to find a nice raw vegan restaurant. I sincerely hope though that the staff can be trained up a bit better and prices can be looked at. There should be no excuse for the toilets to continue to look as they did, after my extravagant fig order there is more than enough in the kitty for a tin of paint and some bleach :-)

Had a nice evening in Nama, the food was very impressive. I have never had proper raw food before and it was a very inspiring meal, I had the terrine which I would really recommend. For dessert we had the chocolate and salted caramel slice which was rich and delicious. The restaurant it self looks very unimpressive and clinical, I think I will not go again because the atmosphere doesn't match the price. If I'm going to pay that amount of money do a meal I would rather go somewhere beautiful and welcoming. The service wasn't bad but not very attentive. Would recommend for the food, but maybe not for a romantic dinner, more like lunch or breakfast.

A very warm welcome can be expected from all the staff at Nama. They are knowledgable too. The food is very well presented, with each plate it's own work of art without being pretentious. But puddings were the stars of the show with a blueberry cheesecake, just incredible fresh tangy flavours on a nutty base. The chocolate cake/torte with data caramel was also excellent. It's my first time to a raw restaurant and I enjoyed it, but not about to turn vegan raw any time soon, much as I felt virtuous and healthy.

My second time at Nama in a few weeks. It's so great to go to a restaurant serving raw and vegan food that simply sees itself as a nice local restaurant, rather than speciality eating. Food-wise, everything I've eaten there has been great - not one dud dish in sight. The best hummus I've ever had (get with the raw bread - as per the very helpful manager's suggestion), meat-free pizza, lasagne and masala dosa - all highly recommended. The service is faultless - attentive, casual, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is both a daytime cafe and evening venue so don't go expecting a fine dining venue. It's really tastefully done and works for casual dinners. Request a table upstairs at the back if you want something a bit more restaurant-y. It would be a great addition to see one or two specials in the evening. The kitchen team are so talented and imaginative - I'm sure they would knock up some pretty special stuff. I'm a new regular there!

I didn't expect vegan food to be SO tasty?! This place is absolutely worth a try. Even if you are not vegan... there are plenty of options, everything is made of raw ingredients. We had crackers with guacamole and hummus as a starter (the hummus is not the usual one with chickpeas, but it's make of zucchini instead), and I had the vegetable terrine as a main (highly recommended!).The only thing I didn't like so much was the dessert, but I probably didn't make the best choice.£35 per person for starter, main and dessert, no wine. As someone who has eaten a LOT of vegan cuisine, Nama is lacking in quality. The food is stale, oversalted, and overcooked. The only appeal is the seemingly wide ranging menu. The portions are teeny, tiny, however. The only good thing about this place is the cheesecake -- it's hard to go wrong with sweets -- and if you want an overpriced fresh juice or non-dairy coffee. The customer service is atrocious. The staff is unwelcoming and treat you as if they are doing a favour serving you. We ordered the banana pancakes, of which there was only more left. That ended up getting served to another table after we had placed our order. No one apologised even though we had specifically told them we traveled more than hour for the pancakes. The items on the English breakfast were chewy and bland. The crackers are salty. When we pointed this out, no one apologised or offered anything -- like a coffee -- in compensation. They just said the chef made a mistake. Another order was also messed up at another table during our meal. We are not going back here again.

We had a two course dinner here last night. The food was really, really good. It took them ages to take our order and when they did the man was weird and quite rude. My dinner companion was on the verge of walking out. It then took a long time for the first course to arrive. It took even longer for the main to arrive (another 20 mins or so) and when I mentioned it the waiter made defensive excuses 'we're very busy' when he could have apologised and empathised. It's a simple difference but makes the dining experience far more pleasant. (There weren't full at all, which is what I call busy). They forgot to bring a glass for the beer, even though it was their idea to do so.Even though we were still hungry after our 2 courses we were so put off by the service we had pudding and more drinks elsewhere. Such a shame as the food was very tasty, but at those prices I expect excellent service and I don't think I'll be back.

Having recently become vegan I needed inspiration! Certainly this restaurant provides plenty, but I'm not sure I could manage this fantastic menu at home! My family, reluctantly joined me, keen meat eaters and very nervous about the raw concept were, to my delight, very impressed. The waiter was passionate about the food and went to great length to help us decide our meals. If you are looking for something different, fun, healthy and flavoursome you won't be disappointed.

Nama is absolutely one of my favourite go to places with my girlfriends' for a coffee and a treat, breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and we've been coming back for about a year. While there have been the odd hit and miss moments, we’ve noticed that since taking on new staff in the past several months the hot drinks have really dropped below standard (even the hot choc drink and another alternative hottie was bland and frothed terribly - lots of bubbles and low on flavour). Occasionally we’ve ended up going to a Starbucks or nearby cafes to get our coffee/teas thereby foregoing potential Nama meals! While the staff are friendly and professional, they clearly have not had proper barista training and some lack a sense of urgency where on occasion customers can be ignored for some time. Sometimes in the end, even your hardened regular customer will give up and go elsewhere. On a health and safety note, we note that the nut mylks are sat out on the counter all day after opening, these should definitely be refrigerated and they don't appear to have been dated once opened? How does one know when the drinks have been opened? Anyway, food is still great (though occasionally, we have noticed a few piddly offerings of ingredients when the chef wasn't bothered to step out and purchase out of stock items - as someone had informed us). For the premium prices one has to pay here, it would do the company service (founders take note) if you train up your existing staff to the usual high Nama standards sooner rather than later.

Visited with my family this past week, we booked a table and when we arrived were taken to a table setup just for us already which was nice, thought would just be spread across a couple tables but they had pushed a few together to accommodate us. Were seated and given menus, then seemed to just be forgotten about, someone eventually came for drinks orders but was a long while in between being given menus and drinks....we all were fine with waters and one of the group ordered a 'magician smoothie' it boasted quite a wide arrange of ingredients and expected it to take a little while to make, literally a snap of the fingers and it was made, didnt hear any machines going to blend the nuts or mushrooms or anything else which suggested it was already premade which is pretty poor because at £7.50 for a literally a couple mouthfuls it should have been fresh pressed nuts and everything else that was in it.after that we were again just left, no one else was in the restaurant we were the only ones so it was very bizarre how i had to keep flagging the waitresses and waiters down, at one point i flagged one of the waiters over and he said something i couldnt understand then just sat at a different table....dont know if he was on his break or what but surely when your paying the amount of money your paying here you go and get someone! finally went up to the bar and ordered a cheese board starter while we looked through the rest of the menu....this took AGES and i mean AGGGGEEEEEESSSSS to arrive, i think they must have went to spain to pick the nuts just for us because we literally were wondering what the hell was going on.....i again had to flag one of the waiters down to place the rest of our order, still not having been brought the cheese board...we ordered multiple items so we could all sample different things, could not fault a single dish that we had(well maybe the ALT), we all especially loved the cheese board(once they got back from spain with the fresh nuts for us) the cheeses really were amazing, and even if your not a fan of cheeses normally i highly highly suggest, even my 3 year old who doesnt like nut cheeses was woofing them down! all in the items we tried were:-cheese board-no meat feast pizza(this was amazing and number 2 best dish)-the banana/blueberry pancake stack(very sweet)-lasagna-pomodoro pizza-ALT(aubergine,lettuce,tomato)(very bland dish the 'bread was lovely but very very bland dish, would not recommend)-the moroccan wrap(a TON of the cashew sauce, half amount would be sufficient)all dishes bar the ALT i would have again and recommend, if the seasoning was done better the ALT would be ok but it literally was a bland avacado on toast.the no meat pizza and cheese board though were 100000% mind blowingly amazing.one thing and i hope the staff read this is on most of the dishes was a mixed salad or whatever it was called on the side of the dish looked amazing then you ate it and it literally was the most bland food you had ever tasted that was like it had just been soaked in oil, it badly needed a squirt of lime or lemon or a nice dressing because it was actually to the point of inedible as was just like soaked veg in oil. should have said something but it wasnt the main part of the dish, the rest of which was fine so just left it.Desserts-we were by now all bursting with the large amounts of nuts no doubt taking hold, but had read that you HAVE to have dessert so we got 1 lemon tart and 1 blueberry pie or whatever it was called.....have read numerous reviews of the blueberry inparticular being life changing, and i have to say, it was disgusting...i think we must have had one that was left out when they went to spain for our nuts for the cheese board because it tasted sour and not very nice, i will normally eat anything but even i was leaving it and the lemon was very very sweet, will certainly 'cleanse the palate' if thats what your after but for us far to sweet.again during the whole evening had to chase the waiters/waitress around for service, we were all alone until we left when a couple came in so no reason to have to be flagging down staff when there is know one else to wait on....there was at least 3 of them on duty.the bill came and the usual london tricks of adding the service charge to the bill, i paid half and after regretted it because they didnt deserve even half. food was great ,wouldnt bother with the expensive deserts but the mains and starters were wonderful, we will go back again but know what to have and not to have on the next visit.

I came here with a couple of friends. I like cooked food and I like meat, so I'm surprised I was allowed in.I've only been to a raw food vegan place twice before, so I haven't got a lot to go on.My experience before though was make room for desert and Nama didn't disappoint here. I had the Tiramisu. The flavour was so intense - a coconutty, chocolate, coffee siren going off in your mouth. My friends had the blueberry cheesecake and lemon swirl and were similarly impressed. Earlier we had wraps, with a side order of kale chips and Olives. Made with care and packed with flavour.I would agree with other reviewers that it's a little pricey - but the your meal had a lot of labour in it. Service is a tiny bit slow and it looks more like an upmarket cafe than a fancy restaurant, but it has a relaxed feel and is very friendly.

Came here for dinner and experienced very similar to the other reviews so far. The atmosphere is very minimalist and it does feel more like a cafe than a restaurant. I'll start with the cons: * The tables are tiny so you can't fit anything on it. It makes the juggling act pretty tedious after a while* The tables are too close together. Just taking one away would help stop the feeling that you're sitting on a stranger's lap to eat* The service is slow - the waitresses stand around doing nothing quite a lot, which means the back log must be in the kitchen. We waited a long time just for some guacamole* It is pretty pricey. A 2 course meal + one shared dessert, without alcohol was £95. The pros:* There is a decent selection to suit all taste preferences* The specials menu is definitely worth a look - the dessert we tried from it was delicious* The staff are very friendly and helpful in telling us what ingredients were included in each of the dishes* The food was DELICIOUS! Beautifully presented with fantastic creativity, experimental flavours, all fresh ingredients and surprisingly filling (you don't expect that from vegan food)Overall it's not somewhere I would go regularly, but it was a lovely treat to try new flavours and experience a raw food menu that made us excited and left us full. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back.

Food is always delicious and cakes to die for!! Staff very friendly and helpful the only thing I am not a real fan of is a coffee which I did not really enjoy. Very nicely decorated place offering staff to take away as well as little goodies to buy. Can get really busy and it is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it and I cannot wait for my next visit!! Love this place, a very good job guys. Had brunch here with my girlfriend. We didn't know it was an organic-vegan restaurant, but it was a great treat! They offer their own remake of English breakfast based on veggies and spices, so many flavors in one dish.. Also had a coconut pudding, really good. Breakfast for 2, including 2 English breakfast, 1 coconut pudding, 1 green smoothie and 1 tea, 47 pounds. Maybe a little pricy, and we were not filled for the day, but we definitely were happy when done! Thanks!

I am not a vegan myself but went there with my sister who is, and it was very, very good. The presentation is beautiful, and you come out feeling satisfied but not overly full and gross which I appreciate. They obviously put a lot of effort in the menu which is original and diversified. The venue is cute, minimalist but somehow warm. The only con is the very slow and not efficient service. The staff is kind but we had to go and pick up the menu ourselves after being tired of waiting. And we had to ask twice for a couple of things. There were 2 people close to us who waited for ages for their food and they didn't receive any update, or weren't offered an apology or maybe free desserts . I would definitely go back but knowing that everything might take a while.

Ordered the ravioli special (£15), which was lovely and so very flavoursome. The "cheeses" in this dish have me intrigued and I'm going to explore them more even though I am not vegan. My cold pressed juice Internal Radiance whilst tasty (though with a slight taste of celery that was not identified in the list) at £6 for a small glass is pricey. The coconut chai latte (£4) and my salted caramel chocolate cake (£7.50) were nice bit not amazing, the cake just felt heavy and maybe I should have ordered differently for dessert with something that I wouldn't be able to potentially make for myself? I've been here multiple times when working in London over the years and very much enjoyed it and have seen an increase in the prices and with the service charge with a 2 course meal, cold pressed juice & hot drink at pushing £36 it's starting to become prohibitive. Service was not the fastest (my chai was definitely on the cool side before my dessert arrived).

My son treated me to this dinner and I was very impressed. I started with the hummus and crackers which was delicious and just the right amount was served. I then had the tomato pizza, again just the right amount of food served and followed this with brownie which was thick and tasty. With raw food, quantities are important, the food is so rich and so less is more. The presentation was beautiful and the server was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience beautifully crafted healthy food.

The food was spot on but the portion was pretty small so I was still hungry afterwards. The wraps were served on a piece of slate, which was pretty cool. The herbal tea I had I didn't like but that was just my preference. Please note I've not been here since 2010 I think. The food is very expensive though and I feel it's more for posh people than normal working class vegans if that makes sense. Not been back since because of the prohibitive cost.

Nottinghill is so lucky to have Nama in their neighborhood. Highly creative, frequently changing menu of inventive, mind-glowingly good raw dishes, served up by friendly and knowledgeable staff in a modern, minimalist cafe style restaurant. My personal favorites include the blueberry pancake stack for brunch, the kale salad for lunch, and the pizzas, curry or terrine for dinner while the rawtella (think hedonists chocolate spread on crackers with banana) or the cheeseboard for snacking any time of day. Owner/chefs Rich (from London) and Irene (from Span) pour their hearts and expertise into Nama everyday. They generously share their knowledge with on site courses, and also offer detox delivery programs.

First ever experience with raw food and I didn't expect such tasty dishes! The venue is a typical hipster spot with casual mood and smiley staff.Zucchini pasta was amazing, full of flavour, the sauce was so well prepared you couldn't distinguish the other ingredients (e.g., green olives). The blueberry cheesecake was also decent.A bit worried about the standard priced menu (I went with a Time Out deal, considering the large glass of wine included, definitely a good one) so hard to recommend it on a regular basis. They kindly offered not to charge for service (the deal was prepaid) but I insisted to leave a tip as all the people were lovely! In short, I think this is the best place where you can convince people who don't like salad to discover a way to enjoy it!

Visited the restaurant in January thanks to the Time Out voucher. To be honest, I think without the voucher it wouldn't be worth the price. I know there are a lot of processes involved in making every dish but I don't think it always delivers in terms of taste. We had the pizza funghi and ravioli for starter. A lot of kohlrabi from starter to main.I didn't like my sushis, the sauce coming with it was very oily and overbearing. The concept is nice and I understand the seasonal products are used in priority but there's only so much kohlrabi one can take. There was an overload of it.We both left the restaurant with belly hurting, feeling quite full but not settled. I don't know if it's with all the different mixes and the alcool but it wasn't a pleasant feeling. The experience itself was insteresting but I don't think I will go back unfortunately.I prefer cooked food or raw salad without the processes involved (a good old tomatoes/basil/garlic or lentils and herbs) :) Was nice to try though!

Must try the deserts - amazing!I thought that it will be more of a restaurant, but in my book it is more of a casual cafe ( maybe because we were stat upstairs it felt very casual). Also, very strange but the tables are tiny, literally we had to put the water and wine on the table next to us ( which was empty) as there was no space for 3 plates and 4 glasses. Definitely recommend it - interesting experience.

I came here with my friend after looking forward to it for such a long time. The service was very very slow, which was surprising because nothing has to be cooked. They had run out of some ingredients which meant that many items on the very small menu had to be altered. I have been vegan for a year and a half, and I am slim and don't consider myself to have a huge appetite, however after three courses and a cheese board I was still absolutely starving. So hungry that I got food on the way home. I could hear customers on the table next to me having a similar experience. I love going to vegan restaurants, and I actually don't often review restaurants.
