Casa Nova in Kensington and Chelsea

Portobello Road es imán para los turistas y hay tentadores lugares para comer y beber. El aficionado cauteloso Persona podría ser perdonado por ser un poco dudoso. Este lugar es genuino. Teníamos unos magníficos desayunos aquí, incluyendo los más exquisitos huevos escalfados que he tenido. Café y té también excelente. La única pega fue el poquito de pan tostado que te dan con los huevos - lo han sacrificado la ensalada para otra pieza. Pero un buen lugar encantador y servicio.

Очень советую здесь попробовать яблочный пирог и их молочные напитки. Очень расслабляющее место, особенно если устали в течении дня, то вам именно сюда.

Manque de professionnalisme évident. Trop de monde derrière le comptoir, personne ne semble avoir de missions définies. Résultat très brouillon, tout arrive en décalé. Dommage, les gâteaux y sont très bons, le cadre y est plaidant. La porte grand ouverte en cette saison n est pas une superbe idée et l'entretien des toilettes (murs et porte) laisse à désirer.

Visitamos allí durante la tarde y mis amigos y yo elegimos la mesa en la esquina al lado del patio. pedimos la pasta y refrescos. El delicioso sabor y nos encanta el ambiente en este acogedor restaurante. El chocolate gratis es agradable. Recomiendo probar.

Acabo de descubrir este lugar Portobello Road. Es una especie de bistrot italiano/cafetería/restaurante. Tienen una cocina y sirven comidas adecuadas, pero sin duda lo mejor es el chocolate! y los dulces y postres en general. It's probablemente perfecto para el desayuno.

Pedimos tortellini y lasaña y todo estaba delicioso. tuvimos una camarera que era su primer día pero ella era super atento. Luego Carlo, el propietario, nos dieron una ensalada de la casa y pedimos capucchinos y chocolate caliente; eran geniales!!!

Este es el mejor lugar para tomar un descanso mientras compras por Portobello Road.

Nos pide un café expreso y capuchino, 2 rebanadas de zanahoria ( fue sugerido por el gerente ) luego después de una rápida charla me ha invitado a prueba es cappuccino de otro huésped ... sombrero!! Simplemente el mejor capuchino que he tenido! suave y cremosa! tomé mi tiempo para beber, y después la factura volví a Hom estrecharle la mano!

Este lugar es mi sitio al que ir a relajarse tienen un poco de café y trabaje en un solo lugar. Me encanta la decoración, y creo que es elegante que el propietario cambia las obras de arte de artistas locales que le gusta.

It was quiet but the staff completely ignored us when ordering and paying, even when I was stood in front of them at the empty counter. Milkshakes for our children were very poorly made and small for £4.50 each. I tried to talk to the staff but no response from either of them.It's a nice location, but there are some much better cafes around the market.

It looked really cute from the outside - a nice quiet haven from the crush of tourists on a Sat for Portobello market. But the service was loopy (didn't seem to understand our orders) and the pastries almost inedible. They were hard and dry, as if they were day-old, but certainly not priced that way (L 4.50 for a single pastry). I definitely would not go here again.

Nice coffee, nice chocolate nice food and, nice people. Makes a change to the run of the mill chains we find in our city. Really worth the visit!

Carlo makes the most authentic Italian pasta we have had in Notting Hill ( in fact, in the UK so far) perfectly cooked pasta with simple and delicious sauces. Amazing value too. Can't wait for the next meal.

Recentemente sono stata a Casa Nova, se dovessi definirlo direi sicuramente Fascinoso...un locale curato nei minimi particolari con pezzi veramente ricercati e non come tanti posti alla moda uno uguale all'altro.Sono stata accolta dal proprietario (italiano ma cittadino del mondo) che con il suo inconfondibile e raro Stile è riuscito a farmi sentire subito a casa.Lo staff è giovane e dinamico e sempre con il sorriso che a parer mio fa la differenza.Ho preso un pezzo di torta al cioccolato ed un thè consigliatomi dal proprietario veramente delizioso.Parlando con uno dei ragazzi dello staff ho scoperto che c'è la possibilità previa prenotazione di cenare, ho riservato un tavolo per la sera stessa e ho ordinato una amatriciana...anche se so che non è consigliabile a Londra ma sapevo che il proprietario è un maestro in questo ...bè che dire eccezionale!Per farvi capire quanto ho apprezzato e quanto la gente apprezzi questo posto ci ho portato un mio amico che abita a Londra e se ne è completamente innamorato tant'è che organizzerà il suo ricevimento di nozze in questo locale magico!

We have been there in a cold Easter evening, and we had the best chocolate cup and the best babbà, it seemed to be at home or in one of the best pleases along the coast around Naples! We reAlly enjoyed!!! And if you are in Portobello pop in and have a taste of the amazing food!!! And also remember.... Carlo makes the difference!

My friend and I visited Casa Nova twice on the same day recently. having been encouraged to try it by another friend. On our first visit in the mid-morning, we were welcomed by the absolutely charming Roman host/owner who made us feel very welcome, offering us samples of little chocolate drops as we entered. However, we found the 'authentic' Italian coffee horribly bitter. Having lived in Italy for years, I was not expecting such sub-standard coffee from an Italian cafe owner who so proudly touted his brews.We were a little shocked that the wide variety of cakes and pastries on offer were all out in the open on a high counter...where everyone entering on this wet and cold morning could cough and sneeze all over them. You would not see an un-protected display like this anywhere in Italy, but it is unfortunately common practice in the UK, and I suppose one must do what the competition does.We returned in the late afternoon for a hot chocolate and a slice of cake. Our desire to sample what looked like divine ricotta, pear, and chocolate torte overcoming our natural aversion to the exposed pastry display. The hot chocoate was very nice, but nothing special (far better to splurge on the hot chocolate offered at nearby Melt on Ledbury Road), and the torte was utterly tasteless, just cloyingly sweet - again, not typical of Italian desserts (with a few notable excpetions from Sicily). There was scarcely any pear and virtually no chocolate present in our torte, and, although we did not expect the rich, full-flavoured ricotta one finds in Italy, we were really disappointed by the tasteless variety that formed this torte. The SEVENTEEN POUND (£17) bill for two small cups of chocolate and two slices of torte ensured that we will not be back.

girellavamo per portobello sotto la tipica acquerugiola londinese, quando siamo stati attirati da questo localino molto originale e curato, arredato con stile e ci siamo fermati per prendere il tè. l'eleganza non urlata del posto e la bontà del tè e dei dolci ci hanno insospettito e abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni al titolare. abbiamo coì scoperto che è italiano (e come sbagliare?) e molto simpatico e comunicativo. buona scelta di cibi dolci e salati ben fatti e gustosi, tè buono ed abbondante, ambiente molto piacevole, servizio giovane e veloce, prezzo equo. insomma, se passate per portobello, fateci un salto: merita (e non solo per spirito patriottico)!!!
