Such a fun place. My 7 year old thought it was so cool to eat up high! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff was friendly.

Been here twice and the food has never failed to be delicious! The all vegan menu has so many options, and was meat-eater approved. However, on both occasions, the service has not been good at all. Our vegan salad came with non-vegan cheese, after we made it clear about our dietary requirements. Being on the top tables also makes it difficult to grab the waiters attention, or they feel like they can just walk past you. They were also not friendly at all, not being gentle when putting the plates down, and rolling their eyes once we finally caught their attention. On the second occasion we had to ask for the service charge to be removed, and even that was met with an eye roll. To ensure people keep coming back to a business, the service has to be at a high standard, but I will not be coming back.

The Jam was just as good as I remembered from 17 years ago! My children loved to see the top tables (nice for dates, they said!). Our family of 5 sat at a table on the ground level, as top tables can’t accommodate 5. We had a delicious meal. The server was friendly, we enjoyed our meal all around.

Service is incredible. So warm and welcoming. The food is amazing. I had the pear salad and bolognese - both were fantastic. The upper booths are a fun vibe, and you feel removed from everything else going on around you. I found it very relaxing. All around, a great experience. I will be back.

We were walking by after a long day seeing London and popped in without a reservation. The host found us a table even through it was busy which we really appreciated! This place is amazing. The tables are stacked on each other and you need to climb a ladder to the top tables. The food was seriously the best Italian we have had and reasonable prices. Fun vibe, amazing ambiance and friendly service. We will be back!

The unique design of the restaurant got my attention, having 2 children aged 6&7. The staff were really friendly & super helpful & the food was delicious! Such a great evening, I highly recommend. We also took full advantage of the unique design and sat at the highest row of tables!

Cool place but the food is average at best

Let me say that as a man of Italian heritage and who appreciates Italian food greatly, the calamary rings were absolutely spot on, fresh, the best I've had out of Italy. The carbonara was prepared with fresh pasta and full of flavour, I am a very happy customer.

Having the opportunity to dine at The Jam is certainly an experience not to be missed in London. This informal, intimate, warm, and welcoming small restaurant boasts a surprising design, with some tables placed just above those on the ground floor, all while maintaining excellent lighting. The ingredients are of the highest quality, and the dishes are crafted to enhance their flavors with extremely delicate combinations. It's evident that there is a particular care in the preparation. The pizzas are also of excellent quality, rivaling any great pizza you might enjoy in Italy. Be sure to try one of the desserts on the menu; they truly are the icing on the cake. Not to be missed!! My mum and I went here for a meal and as soon as we stepped through the door there were two waitresses who did not even say hello. We sat down to order and one of the waitresses had such an attitude, it ruined the atmosphere. I’m giving this place three stars as the food was lovely but the customer service was awful except this one other man that was working there - he was very polite! Such a shame as I took my mum here after me and my boyfriend came a few years ago and we loved it. Would definitely come again, but hopefully next time with good customer service.

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant in Chelsea. Amazing price for the quality and size especially in that area. The design of the restaurant is also fairly interesting, while there's only one floor, there are two levels of tables. Sitting on the upper tables felt like having dinner on the upper bunk. One problem with this was that it was quite hard to get the waiters' attention, especially when there's a time limit. Much time was wasted on waiting for the waiters to take our orders and clear our table. Yet, the food was absolutely amazing. From the pizza to the pasta to the ocotopus, there were all very well seasoned and prepared. The crust of the pizza was crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside, the bolognese matched perfectly with the handmade pasta, and the octopus was very fresh.

Intimate, vibey and authentic. The top bunks were a fun experience, but it is quite cramped (even for just 3 people) and the stairs can be quite steep. Food was pretty good, loved that the pasta came in tapas or regular size. I would personally recommend the grilled octopus. Staff were strict about the dining time limit.

Very cute atmosphere and cool concept for a restaurant! Food is fantastic, we had the gnocchi and the bolognese as well as the burrata to share and all three dishes were very tasty at a reasonable price! Excellent customer service as staff are all welcoming and friendly too. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing place, have been going for years and it’s a completely different experience to anything else in London. They have the option to do half portions of mains so you can have Italian food tapas style which we loved. Everything was delicious!

The place is cool and Cosy, but the food is really bad, I got calamari and it was sooo salty I had to send it bad, I received another severing with no flavour 😒

I ordered bruschetta with tomato and burrata cheese, it was amazing. I never really like eating tomato, but the tomato here was really fresh and all the flavours blended really well with everything else. The bread was slightly toasted as well. They do smaller portions for mains so you are order more and try more. But I went there alone, so I was choosing between hake fillet or one of their pasta. The hake fillet was delicious, the white wine sauce goes very well with the potato and the broccoli. My friend said the pasta there are very nice as well, would love to try that next time!

Great service and great food. The gnocchi was very truffly and the Bolognese tasted authentic. The crab pasta was quite fishy however. The servers were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was calming. 10/10 recommend

Arrived to be told my reservation was cancelled, despite asking for an “upstairs table” and confirming that I was coming. Rather than apologising for the mix up it felt like we were in the wrong… the cocktails and food were great and so was the atmosphere. It is a shame this was tainted by the way the waiters treated us.

We ate here in the spring, unfortunately I had severe food poisoning after the pizza. I didn't eat anything else that day, so I know it had to come from the pizza with the thick cheese crust. So my London vacation was already over.

SO. YUMMY. We spent a bit more than we usually would for a meal here - but that's because the food was so good we couldn't resist ordering just a teeny bit more to try more dishes. Delicious. Definitely would come back! Staff were really nice and lovely!

Great service, great experience, great food! Hands up for Jerry, this guy is the most friendly and helpful person we’ve lately met in a restaurant!he happily suggested me vegan/vegetarian options, and adjusted my order accordingly. A young girl from Nicaragua also very friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back!

Visited Jam for my friends birthday meal as the food was highly rated and had a quirky restaurant set up. The food was nice we all tried different pasta dishes and the cocktails were refreshing. However we had brought our own sponge cake for them to bring out to wish her happy birthday, which was declined due to potential allergen risks (working in hospitality myself this was understandable), and an Italian waiter kindly offered he’ll sort something out for us. At the end of our meal a very small portion of tiramisu with “happy birthday” written on the plate was brought out, which was a nice gesture…. or so we thought. We were all shocked to be charged for it on our bill at the end and not cheap either! After spending quite a bit of money at Jam, you’d think the dessert which was offered to us was a gesture of good will. No problem paying for service charge, if the staff actually checked on us (it was at lunch time and it was just our table of 4 and another couple). The atmosphere felt awkward and hostile. Overall the food was good but i believe it’s the service that makes the experience memorable. Just a small mention the seating upstairs is better suited for a group of 2, being a group of 4 we found sitting downstairs more comfortable.

The Jam was fantastic! Family and friends table for 5 walked in on Sunday afternoon and are already planning a trip back. Menu is phenomenal, we had great dishes and drinks here. My favourite was the crab pasta and the pork belly was definitely the best I have had in London. Service was great too and the manager was so great! Highly recommended. The venue itself is also quaint and beautiful.

The Jam is a unique Italian restaurant with multilevel seating! Reminded me a bit of bunk beds especially when we had to go up the steps to reach our table 😂 The pasta was quite filling, so we almost couldn’t finish the whole dish 😄 As for the dessert, I got the bombolotto, with ice cream on a donut!

Been visiting BuonaSera since I was 14 (I’m 44 now) and at school near Sloane Sq. It’s my favourite eatery in London. Can’t beat the experience and food. 5* for everything!

This charming Italian restaurant was such a gem in Chelsea. The service was incredible, the food was full of flavour and the chilli oil was to die for. We ordered the bresoula pizza so good, I would’ve just liked slightly more bresoula and berry jam sauce to give it more flavour. The grilled aubergine was delicious & just the olives & bread were divine because the bread basket was so fresh! The cute cubby style double deck seating made dining intimate and cosy. Will definitely be back! X

The service was awful from the moment we entered. The waiters were rude, with no offer of menus and created an unwelcoming atmosphere which made us feel uncomfortable. The food and atmosphere were great.

After hearing about this place for a while, I decided to take my partner for Valentine’s Day and I was unfortunately disappointed. First off, we were sat and waited more than 15 minutes before our drink orders were taken. There seemed to be one (new?) server doing all the work, while the others sat up front on their phones. We ordered rose and were given white wine, but didn’t say anything about this as we didn’t mind too much. Also, we requested an upper table on booking, but were given a lower. I totally understand this isn’t something that can always be accommodated, but it’s worth noting. We got small pasta portions and a pizza. My pasta was overcooked and gummy. My partner said his was fine. The pizza was fine, but nothing special. We both had the special dessert, a Mille feuille. For the price, it was very tiny and the chocolate seemed out of place and not great quality. I would have thought a community staple like this place would have gone above and beyond on a holiday, but alas.

Really fun seating arrangement, decent food with vegetarian/vegan and gf options and great staff. I got the mushroom parpadelle and found that the small portion was perfect! Love the cosy vibes of the nooks and found them quite comfortable. We reserved a spot for the Friday lunch spot but this might not have been necessary as it was quite calm. Service was relaxed and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We had a really great time there last weekend with my friend. 5 stars for calamari rings. It was one of the best I have ever tried. Service was good too and atmosphere there, omg, nothing similar in town :D

Nice place with an interesting seating concept, food was average needed more salt though, the waiters didnt hang around long enough for me to ask, food came pretty quickly. But I did not like the waiter who was possibly an Italian man maybe the manager. He was a bit rude and dismissive. Not sure I'd exactly rush back there again. But its a cool place for a date especially if you are ok to sit on the top tables.

Really cool and unique concept for a restaurant. It’s a great use of space to have the treehouse theme with staggered tables. We sat up top of course. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food was great. There were plenty of vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan options available. I highly recommend the Nduja pizza.

Gosh, where do I start! Well… first of all, the concept is great. The space looks very inviting but if you’ve got your climbing shoes on then I advise going without a top on, because, man was it stuffy up there. We were sat towards the back of the restaurant and if you’re a big couple like us it can feel a bit claustrophobic. Not to mention the dusty AC fan blowing just above our plates! Mmm. Unfortunately, the food was on par with this standard as we opted for both the truffle pizza and carbonara to share. While the pizza had a nice crisp, it went cold rather quickly as we were bemused by the lack of flavour. The carbonara also left me stunned and my partner, bless her, likened it to a microwave meal to which I concurred. Nonetheless, the staff (bar one) were actually quite friendly and attended to us promptly.

We were slightly rushed towards the end of our dinner, but apart from that, the meal was delicious! Portion sizes were great!

Great quirky little Italian in the Kind Road. Food is of an excellent standard with a small but comprehensive wine list.

Loveley place great service lovely wine

Sat upstairs on a Thursday, wasn’t too busy. I had the calamari and the gnocchi with Tuscan sausage. The calamari wasn’t anything special, could have done with some more seasoning… tartare sauce was fine and lemon appreciated. I’ve had just as good calamari from frozen unfortunately. The gnocci was delicious and is clearly popular. Very very tasty. Gnocci alone I would give 5 stars, since its modest price point. Good selection of drinks. The space is very cool. If you’re looking at this it’s probably because of its interesting arrangement. Staff were very friendly, and there was nothing to complain about. Main problem was our wait time. I’m sure it’s not common but tables that sat 30 minutes after us got their food before us and they weren’t ordering anything different. Bit of a shame but the food came immediately after we asked where it was. It’s easy to make mistakes in hospitality and the staff amended the issue pretty quickly and were obviously very nice. This is where the main problem is, my girlfriend’s carbonara came pretty cold in comparison to mine like it was left for a bit too long. Such a shame! It tasted alright, maybe needed a bit more sauce but the heat let her down. 3 stars in total. Can totally see the better reviews being legit and think we just came at a bad time.

The best atmosphere for a family. Kids can even sit at a different table and you can sneak in a date at a separate table with your significant other. The food is authentic, timely and well portioned. Great taste for sweet and savory. Try the “doughnut”. Amazing seating arrangement, staff and caring ownership. Take the family or leave them at home. A go to place for the warm feeling you crave. Hint: great pre or post movie dinner for the theater next door.

Fun Italian restaurant with great food and atmosphere.

Everyone had lovely meals. Gnocchi is a great choice, and the pizza bases are tasty. Good portion sizes and reasonable price. Only decreasing the rating due to not allowing a cake for a birthday.

An Italian restaurant with a quirky seating arrangement like bunk beds, but the food is absolutely delicious. The polenta fries and sausage gnocchi were particularly good. The service from everyone, including the busy manager, was very attentive. Several groups of Italians were eating there, which was an excellent sign, and it all added to a great atmosphere. Choose a "top bunk" table for a great view of everything.

This place is a gimmick and a waste of your money. The food is flavourless and cold - it was so disappointing we sent some of it back. I have a cheap Italian in Pimlico (O Sol Mio) which is infinitely superior to this overpriced failure of a place. Save your money and don’t go here.

Very fun environment, staff was super friendly. We had the polenta sticks - definitely recommend - the bressaola dish and caserecce with pumpkin and broccoli.

My friend and I had a meal here and really enjoyed the food and the fast service of dishes. However when our dessert arrived we were still waiting for cutlery (and had asked for it) when we were given the bill and told they needed our table. We were under the impression we had 90 minutes for our booking and it had only been an hour. We then got our cutlery and had about two bites before they came and put the card machine on the table and told us to pay. Our meal was nice but unfortunately we were rushed out the door and couldn’t enjoy the end of it.

Quirky, fun restaurant, try and sit on one of the top tables if you can for the best experience!

Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. As we walked in, the waiters turned their backs to us (3 of them) and in fact didn’t even realize we were there. No one greeted us and it seemed like they could care less to have actual customers come into their tiny tiny (very stacked!) restaurant. Then, as we began ordering and asked for a drink, we got carded (34 years old, a first in a very long time, I must say!!!). Finally, the cherry on top/grand closing of our dinner was getting charged an extra 26£ for a bottle of rosé we didn’t order. Oh and, the pasta was way too salty and the wine tasted like airplane water :)

Awful food , bad service , very hot and the seating is the only good part. Chicken Milenanse was laughable, dry and the sauce was tasteless. Don’t waste your money here, I’m never coming back. Carbonara tasted like it was cooked by a child. Didn’t even ask about allergies even though my boyfriend is severely allergic to nuts and sesame

Cool concept but terrible execution. Toilets were dirty and there was no toilet paper, food was mediocre and the waitress actually wanted to pick a fight with us. My friend asked to remove olives and the dish came with the olives on as well as a side of olives. Waitress confronted us about having ordered olives and didn’t remove it from the bill. Allergies beware. Cheap for Chelsea, for a reason

Great food. A bit of a grumpy waitress. Also okay if you are young but those bench seats and high tables with steps up won't suit those of us of a certain age!

This small, bizarre Italian restaurant has lower and upper seating! It is very clever because they can use all of the space. The food is always great quality but you must always remember to book the restaurant, because it can get very busy at times and people love to sit up on the top seating!

Great service and staff (the genetically tanned Italian male waiter/ I'll omit his name for GDPR reasons) was absolutely amazing, knew the menu well and gave great suggestions. Only complaints were the table was a little sticky, I couldn't taste the liquer in the tiramasu (except for that it was pretty good) and the calamari was overcooked (so it was a little too chewy). If that was not the case I would have scored The Jam higher. I will definitely come again and would also recommend to others. 👌🏾

Went here tonight on 29th September. Lovely welcoming seated were on a top deck. Service was amazing super friendly! The food was quick to come out and it was delicious! My and my son went we cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to the team lovely female and young man an absolute asset to The Jam Chelsea. We will be returning. Lovely starters main and desserts!

So most people come here because of its cool tree structure tables which means you can eat like if you were in a tree. Now for me that’s all it was, a cool place. I thought the Italian food was really average although not everyone at my table agreed. I’ll admit I picked vegan meals and perhaps they are just not very good at making vegan food. The service/staff was not great: they were very friendly but just not very good at their job: -forgetting to bring drinks -asking us for dessert when we just finished starters -bringing small plates when we asked for large; bringing large wine glasses when we asked for small. -telling me they are out of courgettes to then come back and tell me actually they have them Not necessarily important things but just not what you expect from King’s Road Italian restaurant. In the end we were rushed out at 10pm given a 5min warning before although they supposedly close at 10:30pm… Overall happy I’ve been but doubt I’ll come again.

Fun layout creates a good vibe, and the food was really nice however the service received was pretty shocking I assume this is a one from the other reviews and the wait staff being friendly but was never given menus no one took our order till we asked, never given a chance to order more than our initial drinks, wrong food dropped off at our table, mains arrived 2 minutes after our starters etc probably just got unlucky but I'm cautious of returning even though I'm sure with good service it's the perfect spot!
