Excellent food and excellent service. The waiters and chefs are lovely and very professional!

Small but iconic Italian restaurant which offers delicious, unfussy food in modern (although it's been around since the 70s) and charming surroundings. Decent prices and friendly service. There are very few London restaurants that offer truly unique experiences like The Jam does.

Gnocchi had little flavour. I kept adding salt and pepper and parmigiana and chili and more salt. I wouldn’t have written a negative review if they had not delivered both the first course (soup) and main course (pasta) together, one plate in each hand.

The interior architecture is really different, it is in the shape of a tree house. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The food was different from all other Italians. I tried food that I had never seen in any Italian restaurant before, it was delicious. I recommend everyone to try it🙋🏼‍♀️🤍

Food was great and service. Just didn't like the rush to get customers in and out as quickly as possible.

This place was overall great! Cocktails and food were phenomenal. Our server, Jerry, was outstanding. He was polite, walked us through the menus as it was our first time dining here and took great care of us throughout our dinner. We enjoyed the N’Duja Pizzette, whole egg bolognese, Margarita pizza, rocket salad and gnocchi. The temperature of the restaurant was a bit hot but maybe because we were closer to the kitchen. It’s pretty obvious to not come here if you don’t enjoy tight spaces or a small dining environment. However, this did not bother us and it was a cool experience while visiting London! We will definitely be back.

I guess everyone came because they were attracted to the architecture of the restaurant. I do need to admit it’s really cool, luckily my friends and I were seated up stairs as well!!!! However the food was slightly a bit disappointed, not very special. Staff was friendly tho!

We found the staff really rude, it appeared they didn’t want to be there, took 20 minutes before I asked if they could take our order. They then completely forgot to make our drinks. One of the waitresses stank of cigarettes. It took a further 20 minutes after we finished before I asked if they could clear our plates. The food was actually very good which saved the evening.

This place is mediocre at best for the price we paid me and my friend. First the food the calamari was undercooked and I’m sure its not fresh with a mix that doesn’t fit, the burrata is best described as incomplete they overcooked the aubergine and were stingy enough to not give tomatoes and balsamic sauce with it which is unacceptable, now it is not all bad the pizza was good id give it a 7 by itself and the carbonara as well as the pork belly where not half bad plus the desert at the end but this is food i could make at home and doesn’t deserve the price it received at the end. Besides that the service at first was good but later on during the night it became slower but the waiters were helpful so service was not as bad as food. Atmosphere was not at all what an Italian restaurant should look like but still was cool to see double decked seats that is to economize on space. Lastly i gave it 3 stars because price to quality was way too high and the food is simple and stuff we see at home. I recommend it as an end of month restaurant not a weekend endeavor.

Fun spot with delicious Italian cuisine. The stacked booths create a unique and intimate experience. Polenta fries and gnocchi were great and desserts were fantastic.

The double Decker seating is fun. Food quality lacked considerably, especially for the price. Service was okay, but sitting up top is hard to get anyone's attention.

Very welcoming, the gentleman did let us know they are fully booked but managed to find us a table still, and we was thankful for that, service was fast and efficient, my partner enjoyed the octopus and gluten free calamari, I ordered the Burrata pizza with pepperoni, only thing I would say is it was overly salty so maybe remove an ingredient from it to make it less salty. Other than that everything was great. Highly recommend it.

Went after a cinema visit . The place is well known for its quirky two tier tables. Plenty of room for the three of us. It was busy and service was a bit rushed , most places have 90 minute slot and that was fine, they just need to let you know when you book. We just had pizza and they were very good. The tapas style did appeal, so next visit we will be going for that option. The table style was fun, up a few steps to the top tables , bottom ones at floor level. We were three and plenty of room on the bottom tables for four and six would be very cosy, up tables were four people only.

Good food, service was abit slow considering restuarant wasn't busy at all, seating is quirky and could be dangerous if your not careful due to the upstairs design.

Super fun place to go to with the stacked chairs and the atmosphere. The food is pretty good, decently priced, and is served very quickly. Although I wouldn’t recommend if you are meeting with friends to have a catch up! I totally understand the time slot given upon making a booking but it is very unsettling when you arrive 10 mins early and three waiters one being the manager come to take your food order before your booking is even due to start and comment on the time slot you are given, also once we stated we didn’t want desert the bill was brought to us despite half the restaurant being empty at 8:30 on a Friday and we were thinking about ordering another bottle of wine. Over very sadly wasn’t impressed with the service.

One of the best pizzas I’ve eaten and my girlfriend really enjoyed her pasta. Our server was great too, sorry didn’t catch his name!

Such a fun place. My 7 year old thought it was so cool to eat up high! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff was friendly.

Place is a really cool concept but was too stuffy on the top tables. Staff were friendly bar one lady who was very rude. Food was very average and not very tasty.

Been here twice and the food has never failed to be delicious! The all vegan menu has so many options, and was meat-eater approved. However, on both occasions, the service has not been good at all. Our vegan salad came with non-vegan cheese, after we made it clear about our dietary requirements. Being on the top tables also makes it difficult to grab the waiters attention, or they feel like they can just walk past you. They were also not friendly at all, not being gentle when putting the plates down, and rolling their eyes once we finally caught their attention. On the second occasion we had to ask for the service charge to be removed, and even that was met with an eye roll. To ensure people keep coming back to a business, the service has to be at a high standard, but I will not be coming back.

The Jam was just as good as I remembered from 17 years ago! My children loved to see the top tables (nice for dates, they said!). Our family of 5 sat at a table on the ground level, as top tables can’t accommodate 5. We had a delicious meal. The server was friendly, we enjoyed our meal all around.

Service is incredible. So warm and welcoming. The food is amazing. I had the pear salad and bolognese - both were fantastic. The upper booths are a fun vibe, and you feel removed from everything else going on around you. I found it very relaxing. All around, a great experience. I will be back.

We were walking by after a long day seeing London and popped in without a reservation. The host found us a table even through it was busy which we really appreciated! This place is amazing. The tables are stacked on each other and you need to climb a ladder to the top tables. The food was seriously the best Italian we have had and reasonable prices. Fun vibe, amazing ambiance and friendly service. We will be back!

My partner and I recently dined at The Jam, an Italian restaurant, and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a romantic evening. The unique design of the restaurant got my attention, having 2 children aged 6&7. The staff were really friendly & super helpful & the food was delicious! Such a great evening, I highly recommend. We also took full advantage of the unique design and sat at the highest row of tables!

Cool place but the food is average at best

Having the opportunity to dine at The Jam is certainly an experience not to be missed in London. This informal, intimate, warm, and welcoming small restaurant boasts a surprising design, with some tables placed just above those on the ground floor, all while maintaining excellent lighting. The ingredients are of the highest quality, and the dishes are crafted to enhance their flavors with extremely delicate combinations. It's evident that there is a particular care in the preparation. The pizzas are also of excellent quality, rivaling any great pizza you might enjoy in Italy. Be sure to try one of the desserts on the menu; they truly are the icing on the cake. Not to be missed!! The raw materials are of excellent quality and the interpretation of the dishes is inspired by the exaltation of its flavours, with extremely delicate combinations. You can feel that particular care is taken in the preparation. The pizzas are also of excellent quality, nothing to envy of an excellent pizza eaten in Italy. Don't miss trying one of the desserts from the menu, which are the icing on the cake. Not to be missed!!

Let me say that as a man of Italian heritage and who appreciates Italian food greatly, the calamary rings were absolutely spot on, fresh, the best I've had out of Italy. The carbonara was prepared with fresh pasta and full of flavour, I am a very happy customer.

My mum and I went here for a meal and as soon as we stepped through the door there were two waitresses who did not even say hello. We sat down to order and one of the waitresses had such an attitude, it ruined the atmosphere. I’m giving this place three stars as the food was lovely but the customer service was awful except this one other man that was working there - he was very polite! Such a shame as I took my mum here after me and my boyfriend came a few years ago and we loved it. Would definitely come again, but hopefully next time with good customer service.

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant in Chelsea. Amazing price for the quality and size especially in that area. The design of the restaurant is also fairly interesting, while there's only one floor, there are two levels of tables. Sitting on the upper tables felt like having dinner on the upper bunk. One problem with this was that it was quite hard to get the waiters' attention, especially when there's a time limit. Much time was wasted on waiting for the waiters to take our orders and clear our table. Yet, the food was absolutely amazing. From the pizza to the pasta to the ocotopus, there were all very well seasoned and prepared. The crust of the pizza was crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside, the bolognese matched perfectly with the handmade pasta, and the octopus was very fresh.

Intimate, vibey and authentic. The top bunks were a fun experience, but it is quite cramped (even for just 3 people) and the stairs can be quite steep. Food was pretty good, loved that the pasta came in tapas or regular size. I would personally recommend the grilled octopus. Staff were strict about the dining time limit.

Such an amazing place, have been going for years and it’s a completely different experience to anything else in London. They have the option to do half portions of mains so you can have Italian food tapas style which we loved. Everything was delicious!

The place is cool and Cosy, but the food is really bad, I got calamari and it was sooo salty I had to send it bad, I received another severing with no flavour 😒

I ordered bruschetta with tomato and burrata cheese, it was amazing. I never really like eating tomato, but the tomato here was really fresh and all the flavours blended really well with everything else. The bread was slightly toasted as well. They do smaller portions for mains so you are order more and try more. But I went there alone, so I was choosing between hake fillet or one of their pasta. The hake fillet was delicious, the white wine sauce goes very well with the potato and the broccoli. My friend said the pasta there are very nice as well, would love to try that next time!

Great service and great food. The gnocchi was very truffly and the Bolognese tasted authentic. The crab pasta was quite fishy however. The servers were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was calming. 10/10 recommend

Arrived to be told my reservation was cancelled, despite asking for an “upstairs table” and confirming that I was coming. Rather than apologising for the mix up it felt like we were in the wrong… the cocktails and food were great and so was the atmosphere. It is a shame this was tainted by the way the waiters treated us.

We ate here in the spring, unfortunately I had severe food poisoning after the pizza. I didn't eat anything else that day, so I know it had to come from the pizza with the thick cheese crust. So my London vacation was already over.

SO. YUMMY. We spent a bit more than we usually would for a meal here - but that's because the food was so good we couldn't resist ordering just a teeny bit more to try more dishes. Delicious. Definitely would come back! Staff were really nice and lovely!

Hands up for Jerry, this guy is the most friendly and helpful person we’ve lately met in a restaurant!he happily suggested me vegan/vegetarian options, and adjusted my order accordingly. A young girl from Nicaragua also very friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back!

The food is excellent. It's Indian food. As it is always full and with waiting lines to get in, the service is not very good. They are a little "left over". Highly recommended.

Visited Jam for my friends birthday meal as the food was highly rated and had a quirky restaurant set up. The food was nice we all tried different pasta dishes and the cocktails were refreshing. However we had brought our own sponge cake for them to bring out to wish her happy birthday, which was declined due to potential allergen risks (working in hospitality myself this was understandable), and an Italian waiter kindly offered he’ll sort something out for us. At the end of our meal a very small portion of tiramisu with “happy birthday” written on the plate was brought out, which was a nice gesture…. or so we thought. We were all shocked to be charged for it on our bill at the end and not cheap either! After spending quite a bit of money at Jam, you’d think the dessert which was offered to us was a gesture of good will. No problem paying for service charge, if the staff actually checked on us (it was at lunch time and it was just our table of 4 and another couple). The atmosphere felt awkward and hostile. Overall the food was good but i believe it’s the service that makes the experience memorable. Just a small mention the seating upstairs is better suited for a group of 2, being a group of 4 we found sitting downstairs more comfortable.

The Jam was fantastic! Family and friends table for 5 walked in on Sunday afternoon and are already planning a trip back. Menu is phenomenal, we had great dishes and drinks here. My favourite was the crab pasta and the pork belly was definitely the best I have had in London. Service was great too and the manager was so great! Highly recommended. The venue itself is also quaint and beautiful.

The Jam is a unique Italian restaurant with multilevel seating! Reminded me a bit of bunk beds especially when we had to go up the steps to reach our table 😂 The pasta was quite filling, so we almost couldn’t finish the whole dish 😄 As for the dessert, I got the bombolotto, with ice cream on a donut!

Been visiting BuonaSera since I was 14 (I’m 44 now) and at school near Sloane Sq. It’s my favourite eatery in London. Can’t beat the experience and food. 5* for everything!

This charming Italian restaurant was such a gem in Chelsea. The service was incredible, the food was full of flavour and the chilli oil was to die for. We ordered the bresoula pizza so good, I would’ve just liked slightly more bresoula and berry jam sauce to give it more flavour. The grilled aubergine was delicious & just the olives & bread were divine because the bread basket was so fresh! The cute cubby style double deck seating made dining intimate and cosy. Will definitely be back! X

After hearing about this place for a while, I decided to take my partner for Valentine’s Day and I was unfortunately disappointed. First off, we were sat and waited more than 15 minutes before our drink orders were taken. There seemed to be one (new?) server doing all the work, while the others sat up front on their phones. We ordered rose and were given white wine, but didn’t say anything about this as we didn’t mind too much. Also, we requested an upper table on booking, but were given a lower. I totally understand this isn’t something that can always be accommodated, but it’s worth noting. We got small pasta portions and a pizza. My pasta was overcooked and gummy. My partner said his was fine. The pizza was fine, but nothing special. We both had the special dessert, a Mille feuille. For the price, it was very tiny and the chocolate seemed out of place and not great quality. I would have thought a community staple like this place would have gone above and beyond on a holiday, but alas.

Really fun seating arrangement, decent food with vegetarian/vegan and gf options and great staff. I got the mushroom parpadelle and found that the small portion was perfect! Love the cosy vibes of the nooks and found them quite comfortable. We reserved a spot for the Friday lunch spot but this might not have been necessary as it was quite calm. Service was relaxed and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice place with an interesting seating concept, food was average needed more salt though, the waiters didnt hang around long enough for me to ask, food came pretty quickly. But I did not like the waiter who was possibly an Italian man maybe the manager. He was a bit rude and dismissive. Not sure I'd exactly rush back there again. But its a cool place for a date especially if you are ok to sit on the top tables.

We had a really great time there last weekend with my friend. 5 stars for calamari rings. It was one of the best I have ever tried. Service was good too and atmosphere there, omg, nothing similar in town :D

Really cool and unique concept for a restaurant. It’s a great use of space to have the treehouse theme with staggered tables. We sat up top of course. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food was great. There were plenty of vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan options available. I highly recommend the Nduja pizza.

Gosh, where do I start! Well… first of all, the concept is great. The space looks very inviting but if you’ve got your climbing shoes on then I advise going without a top on, because, man was it stuffy up there. We were sat towards the back of the restaurant and if you’re a big couple like us it can feel a bit claustrophobic. Not to mention the dusty AC fan blowing just above our plates! Mmm. Unfortunately, the food was on par with this standard as we opted for both the truffle pizza and carbonara to share. While the pizza had a nice crisp, it went cold rather quickly as we were bemused by the lack of flavour. The carbonara also left me stunned and my partner, bless her, likened it to a microwave meal to which I concurred. Nonetheless, the staff (bar one) were actually quite friendly and attended to us promptly.

We were slightly rushed towards the end of our dinner, but apart from that, the meal was delicious! Portion sizes were great!

Great quirky little Italian in the Kind Road. Food is of an excellent standard with a small but comprehensive wine list.

Loveley place great service lovely wine

Sat upstairs on a Thursday, wasn’t too busy. I had the calamari and the gnocchi with Tuscan sausage. The calamari wasn’t anything special, could have done with some more seasoning… tartare sauce was fine and lemon appreciated. I’ve had just as good calamari from frozen unfortunately. The gnocci was delicious and is clearly popular. Very very tasty. Gnocci alone I would give 5 stars, since its modest price point. Good selection of drinks. The space is very cool. If you’re looking at this it’s probably because of its interesting arrangement. Staff were very friendly, and there was nothing to complain about. Main problem was our wait time. I’m sure it’s not common but tables that sat 30 minutes after us got their food before us and they weren’t ordering anything different. Bit of a shame but the food came immediately after we asked where it was. It’s easy to make mistakes in hospitality and the staff amended the issue pretty quickly and were obviously very nice. This is where the main problem is, my girlfriend’s carbonara came pretty cold in comparison to mine like it was left for a bit too long. Such a shame! It tasted alright, maybe needed a bit more sauce but the heat let her down. 3 stars in total. Can totally see the better reviews being legit and think we just came at a bad time.

The best atmosphere for a family. Kids can even sit at a different table and you can sneak in a date at a separate table with your significant other. The food is authentic, timely and well portioned. Great taste for sweet and savory. Try the “doughnut”. Amazing seating arrangement, staff and caring ownership. Take the family or leave them at home. A go to place for the warm feeling you crave. Hint: great pre or post movie dinner for the theater next door.

Fun Italian restaurant with great food and atmosphere.

Everyone had lovely meals. Gnocchi is a great choice, and the pizza bases are tasty. Good portion sizes and reasonable price. Only decreasing the rating due to not allowing a cake for a birthday.

The service from everyone, including the busy manager, was very attentive. Several groups of Italians were eating there, which was an excellent sign, and it all added to a great atmosphere. Choose a "top bunk" table for a great view of everything.

This place is a gimmick and a waste of your money. The food is flavourless and cold - it was so disappointing we sent some of it back. I have a cheap Italian in Pimlico (O Sol Mio) which is infinitely superior to this overpriced failure of a place. Save your money and don’t go here.

Very fun environment, staff was super friendly. We had the polenta sticks - definitely recommend - the bressaola dish and caserecce with pumpkin and broccoli.

Lovely place to be if you are ever near kings Road. Great taste of pizzas n starters. The waiting team members are extraordinary in their hospitality and climbing skills. Make sure you get a top deck table.
