Food is good n very nice environment. But surprisingly they charge 4£ for 4 pieces of bread

As good as ever. Steaks very good only a few minor quibbles the blue cheese hollandaise a bit too mild for my taste and garlic mushrooms flavouring quite strange ie. Not simply mushrooms garlic and butter . Staff excellent so really enjoyed our visit and took good advantage of the Monday £5 corkage.

A bit expensive, but hey what’s not expensive in London! Recommend a visit and I’m sure you’ll like it.

Highly recommend, staff are just brilliant and so accommodating and friendly and make you feel so welcome and then the food just blew us away!!

This was a fantastic place to eat and drink. We had 2 starters, 3 steaks, several sides and sauces, plus a couple of drinks. It wasn't cheap however, came out about £250 for three people. However the steak was delicious. The sticky toffee sundae was not to milk liking however, too much cake and not enough ice cream or sauce.

Amazingly good and a true English English restaurant when we were out out

Probably one of the best steakhouses in London. Steak cooked to perfection and sides were amazing. Not as expensive as you'd think either, party of 3 with 8 drinks 3 starters steaks and desserts 7 sides barely £100 per head. Will definitely be back

Make sure you order medium rare or rare

It's hard to get great steak when you grew up in the U.S. We had the Chateaubriand - and savored every bite. The hot chocolate tart with brown butter ice cream was stunning.

We went to Hawksmoor, Knightsbridge for my wife’s birthday and we were not disappointed. We unfortunately didn’t have the starters we wanted as there was a 30 minute wait which was a minor inconvenience but the steak made up for it. The other thing that made up for it was the brilliant Anna. Anna was polite, friendly, funny, courteous and knowledgable. She made the experience 5 star worthy. We haven’t experienced service with a smile like Anna before. She is a true credit to your restaurant. Thank you Anna for providing a great experience, we will be back!

Perfectly cooked steaks, and excellent service. The chef personally came out to speak to a friend with allergies to modify his dish, removing the allergen and modifying it according to his taste! I would rate the service 6 starts if I could. There was nothing wrong with the atmosphere, just nothing special!

Overpriced and overhyped, i preferred my local pub’s Sunday roast. The venue also has no natural light, not very pleasant.

Wow 🤩 that’s what I call hospitality. Last time they messed up my steak and they offered me a free steak on the house for my next visit. My next visit i didn’t mentioned nothing about the free steak. But guess what the amazing management/reservation team had “black listed” my name. And they remove my steak without me saying nothing. Just well done good job guys.

Typical London restaurant. The meat is good though, take a big portion. It's very noisy but that's the style of the place.

They were able to fit us in last minute on a Friday evening and were charming about it. Our waiter looked after us very well, dealt with various wine-related requests, and the steak and sides were delicious as usual (chateaubriand was cooked perfectly for us - rare to medium rare with some very rare bits which we like). Only issue was a very rowdy table nearby.

Hawksmoor never disappoints, always has great food and great service.

Very disappointed. Under-seasoned steak and not as tender as hawksmoor once was (I had a rib eye, medium. Chips under seasoned also. The mushrooms were excellent, Mac and cheese only ok, overall I’d hesitate to go back to what was once a delightful treat. Service was fine but nothing particularly special. Considering the cost of a meal here, this really should have been better

Everything was great, apart from the 2 hours we has to wait for our mains, such a shame

Didn’t make it past the receptionist (at least that’s what I think she was? She told us we had to receive our table at the reception inside so I’m not even sure). We came in at 12PM for some Sunday roast because of the high google reviews, the receptionist told us we could had to “return the table at 2PM, so only 1.5 hrs to eat”. Not that we even needed that long to eat. When I was discussing it with my wife in our language, she kept asking if I understood her and emphasizing that we had to return the table by 2PM, even though I was just talking with her in English (albeit with an American accent). I don’t know if they had an event planned or something, but her attitude didn’t sit right with me, so we promptly left and got a far warmer welcome at the GK pub next door.

Food was amazing, we had the Sunday dinner but I think the oven baked garlic was the icing on the cake for me, staff are very friendly really attentive to our requirements.

Hawksmoor is always a guarantee! The steak was delicious! The only negative side for me was that the Aircon was a bit too high, but we were sitting just underneath so perhaps elsewhere it would have been less cold..

Steak was edible, bland and nothing special. Oysters were good. Service was good overall. Very average restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant meal. One of the best steaks - chateaubriand! The sides were so good - especially the sweet potato, which was one of the best I've ever had. The staff were really lovely and made a special dessert decoration for my parents anniversary. Cannot recommend this place enough!

So overpriced for what it is.. you can get much nicer food elsewhere. Our whole meal including sides were dreadfully salty and we were invited back only to be offered a steak on the house. Nothing else. Overpriced naff place. Don’t bother. The waiting staff however are lovely and excellent at their jobs.

This was the first time I've ever had bone marrow with a steak and I'll never have it any other way again. Delicious cocktails, great steaks, desserts were made to perfection. Can't wait to try the one in NYC

We went here for dinner as a group of 10. We were informed that only the smapler menu would be served to our group and could not order the al la cartr. That was no problem as made the decisions simpler. We also had one vegetarian in the group. For starters, we were served a beetroot salad, which was delishas, the smoked mackerel was tasty too with the potato and rocket, and the 3rd started was carpaccio again tasty. These 3 dishes were tasty also woth the fact we were very hungry. But i felt they were too simple and something a novoce chef with no training could conjoir up. Maybe my expectations were a lottle too high. We were then served 3 types of steaks in sharong skillets. 1. Prime rib 2. Sirloin 3. T bone. There was confusion with what syeak was, what from the waiting staff, and they couldn't identify the steaks correctly. We opted for the steaks to be medium, and they were cooked perfectly. In honest opinion, the sirloin lacked flavour and didn't feel like a great quality expected from Hawksmoor, but the prime rib and the t bone were beautiful. Our vegetarian guest, after being told there was a mistake, was told her food would arrive 15 minutes delayed. This was a little upsetting, but we didn't mind as there were some sides on the table, like the creamed spinach parsnip mash and chips. This, too, seemed to be a problem. We asked for a plate so she could eat some sides, but she was told her plate would come with her mains. This was annoying as the whole table was eating. We asked again and yet no retirn with a plate. Finally, i had to go collect a plate from the serging counter. I was shocked, but at this point, i wanted my guest to enjoy. The sides were pleasant, but the creamed spinach and the parsnips were beutiful honestly really enjoyed the flavour they added to the meal. The chips were not enough to feed the whole party. So i would suggest maybe if lile me you like a balnced plate order some extras. Dessert was served pretty unmemorable a chocolate lava cake, and i forgot the other item, but this is Hawksmoore, a renound steak place, so i wasn't too bothered by dessert. We drank a magnum bottle of wine deffo a great selection there and the old fashioned's are nice. Overall, it was enjoyable due to being with a great group. But it felt like im the harverster of steak houses, not what i expected from one of the popular steak houses in london. Opps, i must mention that due to the issue with the vegetarian meal, they did remove it off the bill. Which was a kind gesture, but i hate not paying for things. We eat drink we pay. If we dont enjoy it, we dont go again. it's that simple.

Loved the food !! The steak was perfect. I had the bone marrow, and it was amazing. The best I had!! Loved the overall experience. My son mentioned that its one of the best steak he ever had .

Really disappointing, to be honest. My rib-eye was dried out, not juicy, like it had been left in an oven or on a hotplate for hrs. Chef also needs to learn the difference between well seasoned meat and horribly salty. Most staff were charming but one server was curt, brash and rude, especially to my elderly mother - kind of ruined the vibe. Maybe we caught them on an off day? Either way, won't be back.

5 stars for the food that was above excellent. 4 stars for the service only because there were at least 4 people serving at the tables and we were left waiting for a long time when the employee attached to our table was busy with something and 3 other employees noticed that we had finished, but ignored us until I called for one of them.

Best Steak Ever. Visited for my 50th birthday with my wife and three sons and couldn't be more pleased that we did. Everything was perfect, food, drinks, service, atmosphere. I had 250g of lobster, ribeye steak with maple bacon, cherry negroni cocktail and a Haksmoor ale. Everything tasted excellent and would definitely recommend. I see a fee reviewers complain about noise levels, there's no loud music just the steady buzz of people talking and having a fantastic evening so don't be put off by those reviews. Made Gaucho seem average.

I made it clear on the reservation that it was my birthday. They brought the already ordered cake with a candle on it and charged me for such a cake (on top of a £350 order, btw!) - pathetic. I used to go to Gaucho for my birthday and they have always sent to the table a proper cake which has never been charged for.

Hawksmoor was recommended by a colleague. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t as good as was for most people.. The atmosphere was great, very lively. Cloak room very handy, toilets nice and clean. The manager was a bit “tense” you could say. Our original booking was for 9 people. They called us two days before to confirm it and I informed them that there is a high probability we will be 10. I was told that’s not an issue, 9-10 people will occupy the same space/table. Then, whilst we were waiting for our table, the manager came and started complaining that we changed the booking at the last minute, and that they will turn the blind eyes because for 10+ people you need to have a shared menu and pretty much they did us a favour… when I told her that two days ago I did ask for 10 people and I was told it’s absolutely fine, she just nodded her head and said you didn’t talk to me so I can’t help you… The food was tasty but it arrived cold, one of us couldn’t hold it and sent it back. As he said, I’m not paying £45 for a cold served fish. Steaks were ordered medium rare and at best were just rare. Service was terrible. Plates were thrown on the table and we had to ask multiple times what’s what and figure it out ourselves who had ordered what.. Waiter was borderline rude as if it was his last day and couldn’t care less. For a group of 10 that paid ~£85 per person I would expect a way better experience.

Great steak restaurant in London. The service was top notch and the chateaubriand was great! They had a nice wine selection and the maple tart dessert was amazing. A little loud but worth it for a great meal.

The steaks were both under cooked however we were advised that their rare/medium/well done were different! Very overrated and with one starter, two steaks and two drinks £140 it's over priced.

I went for Sunday roast here, the meat and stuffing was delicious, the veg was ok. I thought the roast potatos were going to be amazing, but they were SO DRY. I think they had been sat under the heat lamps for a while. Overall okay, I'd probably come back here for a steak, not for roast dinner.

I recently visited the restaurant and was extremely pleased with both the service and the food. However, I must mention that the noise level was a bit high, causing some discomfort. Aside from that, I am overall satisfied with my experience. The service was exceptional, and the cuisine surpassed my expectations. I hope the establishment considers addressing the noise issue to enhance the overall dining ambiance.

Loved the service, and specially the food, the atmosphere was really nice. Obviously the best part was the meat, I ordered the fillet, wich against the recommendations, asked to be well done, and got it perfectly.

The atmosphere is great. Excellent vibes. But the food… both steaks (Rib Eye and Fillet) were too dry (asked for medium). The cut themselves were of good quality. Sides were just OK, not exciting. The service was relatively attentive.

Lovely food, great steak, veg done to perfection, delicious cocktails but getting a bit pricey now. Service was great when it was there but vanished for long periods leaving us waiting so long that at one point after waiting 15 minutes I was just about to go looking for someone so we could get our bill when the service finally turned up. My dessert was terrible (shortbread that was dry and dusty and seemed like something my kids would have brought back from cooking at nursery) but they took it straight off the bill, no questions asked so no complaints.

The steak was just delicious and the sides were very nice aswell.

Favourite steakhouse in London. I’ve eaten here 50+ times so this should be very telling. Bone marrow is the best I’ve had - ever. This is the same for the Sticky pudding - I have made quite the journey for the pudding, many times. Really well cut steak - yummy macaroni cheese. I actually ordered hawksmoor at home during lockdown, that’s how obsessed I’ve been with the food. What else to try? Scallops 10/10 Mac and cheese 10/10 Creamy spinach 10/10 Chips - nothing to rave about. Bearnaise 10/10

As always, superb! First time visiting with our kids (10 & 13) we had 800g chateaubriand between four, it was a great option leaving room for desert too! Would recommend mac & cheese and garlic mushrooms on the side and of course the skinny fries! Can’t not have the Salted Caramel Rolos for desert! They are MEGA!

Chateaubriand medium-rare was a little dry; bone marrow with onions and English lettuce with herbs were the highlights.

We came here on the recommendation of a friend and it was well worth it. I had the Winslade Wellington dish, an underrated star of the menu, if you ask me, the Japanese <something> martini and we split the Chocolate Anglaise for dessert. Everything was very delicious. Our service was also excellent. The restaurant tends to be a bit noisy so keep that in mind.

The team at Hawksmoor Knightsbridge are brilliant. They complements the incredible food to make this place one of the few remaining restaurants that deliver excellence every single time. My wife and I love going there and can't speak highly enough of the service, drinks (Shaky Petes... my goodness), food (even the broccoli and lettuce are amazing) and the venue itself. From start to finish we love every minute being there. Special thanks to Enli, Daniel, Taylor and Pawel for making our first trip there as a married couple so special. Always had a great experience at Hawksmoor but really disappointed with the Sunday roast. Really mean portions of two small roast potatoes barely any gravy. Politely asked for more and was charged for the extras. Staff were terrific no complaints there.
