Sad to see the staff lack of food knowledge on what’s carbs and protein. Confused customer that he got frustrated and left. Waiters don’t know knowledge of Singaporean and Malaysian food served here. Menu not well specified on the dishes. Taste was good and happy, I am a regular here

Simple which does not mean basic. genuine and tasty. Courteous staff. Ate early eve and almost empty but midweek. Recommended alone or with Singapore-cuisine liking friends who happen to stay at the hotel.

Hainanese rice is very good chicken tender and the rice is cooked with chicken soup which makes the rice taste better not like usual plain rice.

We love coming here whenever we visit London. The food reminds us of home! Delicious and authentic in flavour.

Flavorful Hokien Mee (noodle dish) with prawns and pork belly but far too salty. Portion is on the small side given the higher prices compared to other Malaysian restaurants in London. Superb service though in a quiet environment. Very clean.

It's our first time to try this restaurant ☺️ ordered Char Kway Teow and Bak Kut Teh. Both dishes are tasty and authentic. Restaurant staffs are friendly and provide good service. Will definitely revisit again.

The Singapore laksa was excellent and authentic. Just the right level of spiciness and richness from the coconut milk. The ingredients are fresh and goes extremely well with the flavourful broth. One feedback - would be nice if there is an option to have bee hoon noodles other than the regular yellow noodles. Attentive service by Sandeep as well. Well done.

Great hidden quiet place with one very decent Hainanese chicken in town! Prices are on the high side though. - this review was written because they give you 3 scoops of ice cream (Haagen-dazs!) if you write a review 😋 -

Really enjoyed our meal here, the food is very authentic and delicious, I also loved the presentation of the dishes which adds to the whole experience, the atmosphere and decoration are pleasant and tastefully done, the staff are all polite and attentive, the environment is peaceful and very clean. Sandeep and Uday are great waiters.

Meal was delicious and the staff were so friendly. Would highly recommend the prawn starter, and seafood Laksa as a main!

Service was so slow, there was one waiter and a manager who disappeared half of the time. Food took 45 minutes to come! The food rescued our experience. Laksa was rich and tasty, Haines chicken rice was authentic. We would skip the crab next time because it was very small and poor quality, didn’t seem fresh. Some items on the menu were unavailable which we thought was strange as we were one of the first customers for dinner service.

Took a chance and booked via First Table - would not go again, especially at full price. You can find better Singaporean/Malaysian food in Chinatown for cheaper prices. Each main is at least £15. We ordered the laksa, Hainanese chicken rice and Hokkien mee. Out of all 3 dishes, only the laksa was decent and authentic. As a Singaporean, I can vouch that Hokkien mee never has dark soy sauce in it. The version here was closer to the KL version which uses dark soy sauce but it wasn’t exactly right either. It was more like stir fried noodles. The chicken rice wasn’t very flavourful. Service wasn’t very pleasant either. The gentleman serving us was very curt and cold, bordering on passive aggressive. He hurried us to order, reminding us that our reservation started at 5pm. We asked what the dining time limit but he just said they had tables booked for 6.30pm and 7.30pm and didn’t give us a clear answer. Once we ordered, he didn’t bother us anymore. We ended up staying till 7.30pm and there were no customers waiting for our table or any other tables by the time we left. Also, there are QR codes on each table promoting free dessert in exchange for a Google review. When we asked, Bebe just said that the free dessert was ice cream and didn’t include any of the desserts on the menu.

Found Bugis Kitchen though First Table! The restaurant is very nice and service is very attentive! I am gluten free and the staff were very accomodating by double checking certain dishes with the kitchen. I had the Char Kway Teow and I couldn’t fault it- very generous serving and super tasty!

Absolutely delicious Singaporean food in London! The service was very attentive and friendly, thanks to Mr Bebe and Sandeep! It is a hidden gem tucked into a Copthorne Tara Hotel. I recommend the Laksa! (Huge bowl and great flavour and spice). The char kway teow was delicious too. They have good gluten free knowledge, with a allergy menu to help. They can also modify dishes to help. Everything is priced as you'd expect for London but you can get a discount through first table and a free icecream with a Google review! Large range of drinks too (including cocktails) which are all well priced for a restaurant in London. Highly recommend!

Nice quiet atmosphere. Food was very flavourful and came in nice big portions. Prices are very reasonable as well so definitely worth a visit! We got the Singaporean laksa and the Hainanese chicken :).

The highlight for me was the Hainanese Chicken Rice – tender, juicy chicken paired with fragrant, savory rice that brought back memories of Singapore’s hawker centers. The chili and ginger sauces were the perfect accompaniments, enhancing the overall experience. Another standout dish was the Laksa. The broth was rich and flavorful, with the perfect balance of coconut milk and spices. Every bite was a harmonious blend of textures, from the fresh prawns to the soft rice noodles.

we booked through Firsttable, and had a great meal filled with flavour - highly recommend the big bowl of laksa (filling and delicious) and also the bak kut teh which felt like I was healing my body. beef rendang was very fragrant, meat was a bit dry, still tasty eaten with rice. Billy the head chef came out to talk to us and asked for feedback:) lovely vibes in the restaurant. Recommend !

Usually I won’t do it. Too risky! This brave decision has paid off. The Singapore laksa (claim as usual lah.. but I found out that the chef is Malaysian 🤣) is authentically tasty and worth recommending to whoever is around the vicinity of Kensington. Kudos Chef!

This restaurent is hidden away inside the Copthorne Tara Hotel. Once seated, we were served by Bebe and Zia, taking their time to talk to us about the food. The interior sets the ambience. Service was great with suggestions on menu. Most important food was full of flavour in a fusion of Singaporian spices. Well worth a visit and recommended

Really great standard of Singaporean food here, the chef is obviously very experienced, I also love the decoration and layout of the restaurant, the menu has some excellent dishes, I ordered Bak Ku Teh, Hainan Chicken Rice and Char Kway Ka, all were perfectly done with no issues so I'll definitely be coming back to try the Chilli Crab with Mon Tou buns. They should probably be selling Tiger beer but that's not a deal breaker. Bebe and Karthick on the service team were friendly, always on hand to assist when needed. Billy the head chef came out to meet everyone, he is such a great guy and creates authentic delicious dishes, can't wait to come back here.

Found this place on the off chance as we were staying nearby. We found the food very tasty and authentic to Singapore and Malaysia having traveled there many times. Our waiter Karthik was very attentive and we had a superb meal.

Had a wonderful meal at Bugis Kitchen tonight. I ordered the popular Singapore Laksa dish and Choy Sum veggie dish. I wasn’t feeling particularly hungry but managed to finished all the food because the taste was authentic with great service. I would highly recommend Bugis if you are in the neighborhood.

Been to London for a few days with family, and had some horrible food experience, we decided to have delivery from the hotel restaurant, surprisingly it's very authentic and that's the best meal we had in days, and we decided that'll be the only place we'll have order dinner for the rest of our stay, and glade we found out at the first night of our stay. Also want to thanks Sandeep for the good service, and the friendly manager, forget to ask for his name, and also a big thanks the chef Billy the chef to cook us the best Malaysian food I've had in England.

Classic and authentic Singaporean food with nice cocktails. Clean and comfortable environment with excellent service. FYI, there has been a change of chef in the past few months, and it is night and day. The dishes like Hainanese Chicken Rice and Laksa are totally different now from previous reviews and are really good!

Surprisingly “different” food. Very lovingly served and very tasty dishes. The service (Sadiq) was kind enough to advise me on the menu and point out that it was overly spicy. Thanks also to Supervisor B.B. for his kind tip. The ambience is pleasant, calm and not so hectic, the plush charm of the hotel doesn't quite do justice to the character of the food.
