The experience was highly satisfactory. I have lived in Singapore several years and I can say that this restaurant offers authentic flavors and supreme ingredients. I had one of the best Laksa soup ever and delicious Gado Gado. The service is outstanding; cordial and attentive. Last, but not least, the atmosphere is just perfect, spacious and beautiful, with a selection of elegant and comforting music. Definitely it is a place to enjoy when visiting London. Highly recommended.

This is my second visit to Bugis and the both the food and service were as exceptional as last time. The menu is small but has a lovely variety. The food is served with attention to detail and is absolutely delicious. The price is very reasonable also. The service is polite, efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is slightly lacking, though is largely due to it being quieter than it deserves. The music is a little loud for the setting and a mix of traditional Singapore/Malaysian sounds with an upbeat twist. It can be a little repetitive. I often have to travel for work and when I stay at the hotel, I shall make this my preferred stop

Great food (tastes authentic for someone who grew up in Singapore) and friendly service. I had a nice meal here with family and everyone loved their choice.

Good food especially when there is cold and rain outside

Food was absolutely terrible - curry chicken was oily and impossible to eat. Chicken was in almost one piece and it was served together with oily sauce (it was more like soup) in a deep bowl. Beef stew - didn’t have enough juice (as stew must have) and the meat was hideous - impossible to chew.

We came here for the good reviews and we were in the vicinity- pricey for what it is. We ordered laksa which was good but pricey, hainanese chicken (tasted good but difficult to eat due to the way it was presented) and hokkien mee (this was just ok...).

Definitely one of the top contenders for 'Best Laksa in London'. The chef knows what he is doing. I personally love it spicy and requested it so, as normally it comes a bit mild. Service is very attentive and professional, and the environment is very nice. Will be coming again for the Laksa!

Its our first time staying at the Copthorne hotel in London. The staff is so friendly and food was amazing!

Laksa was good! Hokien mee... Not so much and the Hainanese chicken was ok. "Free dessert with a google review" is not a proper desert. They offer an ice-cream ball, which we declined. Place is quite hidden in the hotel and they will close at the minute they tell you.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Really good short menu of Singaporean/Malaysian classics, all dishes were delicious, the Hainanese chicken rice was better than many I’ve tried in Singapore. Service was 10/10 too - thanks for a great experience!

Hainanese chicken is a bit rough but the whole dish overall is amazing. The laksa is more spicy than I expected but it was very delicious

The food are as good and as fresh as those cooked and freshly prepared in Singapore Hawker centre or food court. Very happy me 🥳🥳

It was good experience today I came with my Gf we enjoyed alot there is manager Bebe he greet us very well …

Had a team lunch there so the menu is a sampler of a lot of dishes and my favourite was Char Siu on the Man Tou (chinese buns), their Satay and Beef Rendang. They grilled the satay (not fried) so the meat is still very moist and just like what you have in the hawker center in Singapore. I love the Man tou so you can order it as a side to go with dishes with which has a sauce like beef rendang. The restaurant is tucked in a hotel so you do need to know the place but very close to the tube station. My singaporean colleague said the Hainan chicken was very authentic. Worth giving the restaurant a try as there aren’t so many authentic Singaporean or Malaysian restaurants around.

Ordered the laksa, the chicken rice and the Mongolian tofu starter. Would recommend all three of them! Laksa has a great balance of coconut milk, belacan (?) and curry. Was also full of tofu, bean sprouts, seafood etc. The chicken rice came seasoned well and the three sauces were fantastic - the chilli and ginger/garlic were my favourite.

We were several people so had lots of different dishes and they were all terrific but my personal favourites were the Laksa and the Beef Rendang. This is authentic Malaysian/Singaporean food at its best. If you like it spicier just ask Chef Lee who is happy to oblige!

Absolutely delicious food. Head chef came round to say hi and ask how our food was which was much appreciated and sweet. Talked about the history of the dishes and the authenticity. Chicken satay to start with and Singapore laksa for main and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend. Attentive staff but not too much.

My twin girls were craving for asian food and the egg fried rice truly saved the day. The adults ordered nasi goreng spicy and laksa, so glad it was actual spicy food. Food was delicious and we're thankful for this place.

The chicken rice is very delicious. The rice is soft, the soup is smooth, the chicken is soft and thick. Just the right amount. It's very similar to the chicken rice in Thailand. Really delicious After eating, I feel very homesick ><

Simple which does not mean basic. genuine and tasty. Courteous staff. Ate early eve and almost empty but midweek. Recommended alone or with Singapore-cuisine liking friends who happen to stay at the hotel.

Hainanese rice is very good chicken tender and the rice is cooked with chicken soup which makes the rice taste better not like usual plain rice.

Flavorful Hokien Mee (noodle dish) with prawns and pork belly but far too salty. Portion is on the small side given the higher prices compared to other Malaysian restaurants in London. Superb service though in a quiet environment. Very clean.

Really enjoyed our meal here, the food is very authentic and delicious, I also loved the presentation of the dishes which adds to the whole experience, the atmosphere and decoration are pleasant and tastefully done, the staff are all polite and attentive, the environment is peaceful and very clean. Sandeep and Uday are great waiters.

The Singapore laksa was excellent and authentic. Just the right level of spiciness and richness from the coconut milk. The ingredients are fresh and goes extremely well with the flavourful broth. One feedback - would be nice if there is an option to have bee hoon noodles other than the regular yellow noodles. Attentive service by Sandeep as well. Well done.

Service was so slow, there was one waiter and a manager who disappeared half of the time. Food took 45 minutes to come! The food rescued our experience. Laksa was rich and tasty, Haines chicken rice was authentic. We would skip the crab next time because it was very small and poor quality, didn’t seem fresh. Some items on the menu were unavailable which we thought was strange as we were one of the first customers for dinner service.

Took a chance and booked via First Table - would not go again, especially at full price. You can find better Singaporean/Malaysian food in Chinatown for cheaper prices. Each main is at least £15. We ordered the laksa, Hainanese chicken rice and Hokkien mee. Out of all 3 dishes, only the laksa was decent and authentic. As a Singaporean, I can vouch that Hokkien mee never has dark soy sauce in it. The version here was closer to the KL version which uses dark soy sauce but it wasn’t exactly right either. It was more like stir fried noodles. The chicken rice wasn’t very flavourful. Service wasn’t very pleasant either. The gentleman serving us was very curt and cold, bordering on passive aggressive. He hurried us to order, reminding us that our reservation started at 5pm. We asked what the dining time limit but he just said they had tables booked for 6.30pm and 7.30pm and didn’t give us a clear answer. Once we ordered, he didn’t bother us anymore. We ended up staying till 7.30pm and there were no customers waiting for our table or any other tables by the time we left. Also, there are QR codes on each table promoting free dessert in exchange for a Google review. When we asked, Bebe just said that the free dessert was ice cream and didn’t include any of the desserts on the menu.
