Last Friday I celebrated my birthday at La Mia Mamma, and it was the best birthday ever! The food was absolutely stunning, so delicious and plentiful (we had the group menu). The team looked after us and celebrated me in a way I couldn’t have imagined. They brought out tiramisu with candles and sang “Tanti Auguri”, with all waitresses and mammas dancing, singing and clapping around me. It was pure magic! Stefano, the manager, was amazing, dancing with us and making me feel so special. Mamma Fiore and Mamma Ida were incredible, so kind and fun! A huge thank you as well to Ruben and Chiara, our wonderful waiters, for taking such great care of us. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, La Mia Mamma is the place. I will never forget this celebration, thank you all!

Mamma Ida and Mamma Roberta were the stars of our evening, they were talking to us and taking care of us the whole night! They were very sweet and delightful and you really feel like you’re at your grandma’s table. Stefano and Ruben were also amazing, very helpful and talking to us making sure we enjoyed the food. The interaction was genuine and friendly, there wasn’t any fakeness from any of the staff. They were all pleasant, we just wanted to show some appreciation for our main hosts for the evening. Warm, friendly and welcoming. Like going back to Nonna’s and being fed like you are at nonna’s. We walked out overfilled, satisfied and with really happy bellies. Got the glass of Prosecco, antipasti to share and pasta. We were pretty much chockers after the antipasti. The antipasti was a great sampler. Filling, generous and very good. The 8 hour slow cooked wild boar ragu pasta was delicious-just the right ratio of pasta, sauce and meat and the mixed seafood pasta - was equally well balanced and well cooked seafood. Serves were generous and absolutely tasty and very satisfying. Cannot fault the service nor the food. It felt like a warm hug from nonna.

We stopped by on Friday to dine-in for a late lunch as a group of 6, as my son was home from America and everybody absolutely loved the food, ambience and most of all the service. There were 2 Peruvians and one Americans in our party, all who enjoy dining out and they felt it was a real highlight of their London experience. Maria was absolutely fantastic from the moment we were seated until we left. She was very engaging, great fun and made the experience one to remember. We would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Great adult italian but does not accommodate children. No pizza. When we tried to order off their next door sister restaurant made in italy (which does) they would not allow our baby to have this. Weirdly corporate uncaring rules from the owner i was told. Ridiculous! Not the family place it pretends to be sadly. No kids menu even. Mostly nice staff mind.

We loved this restaurant a lot! There was a deal - 29£ per person for starters, pasta and a glass of Prosecco. It is an amazing deal and we were quite surprised that we received so many starters which were amazing for such a price! Everything was very tasty and fulfilling. We had Cacio and Pepe pasta and it was very tasty - very cheesy and lots of black pepper! All pasta was al dente and cooked deliciously! I would truly recommend this place for very tasty food and amazing service!

A must visit in London! I have been to two of the La Mia Mamma restaurants and both times was blown away by the quality of the food. Make sure you come with an appetite as it’s a lot of food but it’s so delicious! We visited the King’s Road restaurant in August, As a family of 4 we each had a main and shared the starter platter for 2 between us. We also shared a tiramisu for dessert. We had a few bottles of wine so this pushed up the bill for us! I love the way the nonnas come round with samples for you to try whilst you are eating! The restaurant is cosy but at times can feel a bit cramped and we went on a particularly hot day so it was a little stuffy. Service was ok, but I think this was because they were very busy that they were constantly on the go so took time for them to be free to do drinks top ups.

Food is nice . However, the service was terrible. Waited a long time to order and a very long wait between starter and main. Also had to follow up on the wine order twice, while the table next to us ordered 2 glasses of Prosecco at the same time as us we had to wait another 15minutes to receive 1 glass of wine. Finally I had to wait over 15 minutes for an espresso. Very disappointing.

It truly feels like going to your nonna’s place surrounded by your family. Everything reminds you of Italy, the atmosphere, the music and of course the food which is delicious. Stefano is an excellent host; attentive, entertaining and extremely funny. Will be back for sure.

Italian here speaking, coming to La Mia Mamma feels like a Sunday lunch at nonna’s house: amazing food and real Italian experience. Everything I had at La Mia Mamma is exceptionally good and authentic with a genuine and fresh taste. I especially love the fregola with seafood (how can one not?!) Went for the second time tonight with my parents visiting for the holidays and they both loved the food and the atmosphere. The service is amazing, everyone is friendly, attentive and a pleasure to talk with. Stefano, what to say, you are a true wonder! Thank you for making my parents feel so at home and for making us laugh so much throughout the dinner, your presence added so much to the overall experience I can only be thankful! La Mia Mamma is a one of a kind Italian restaurant. The Atmosphere brings you back to Italy and the very first thing you see when you walk into the door is Mamma making you her specialty that she will share with you through out the night. All the food is top notch here. This isn’t the restaurant Stanley Tucci came to, but I think it is the best one of the bunch. Gotta come when you are hungry, there is a lot of food to be had when you come here. This is authentic Italian food.

Quiet and peaceful place! Delicious food

Went there on Sunday for lunch. Three of us went and had an excellent time. Attentive but not intrusive staff. Food of the highest quality. The wild boar stew was delicious. Little side dishes very tasty. Wine choice extensive and our choice was delicious. Would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely return.

On an unassuming road in London, we came with empty bellies and left with hearts full. Bread baskets, beef caskets, cacio e pepe, and beautiful prosexxy. The shining jewel of our Italian feast, was made by thomas - and he went off piste. An espresso martini to end all digestifs. Frothy, soft, and oh so sweet.

Evening with Christmas Menu for 8 people. Everything perfect, from the food to the service, to the friendliness of the manager Stefano! We will return for more celebrations. Thank you!

What a beautiful experience! The environment is intimate and welcoming and right from the window you will be able to see one of the "Mums" at work. At the entrance you are greeted by one of them or a member of the staff, who immediately makes you feel at home. We were followed by Stefano, who offered us a menu consisting of a selection of appetizers and a first course of our choice. What can I say: The flavours, combinations and authenticity of the ingredients made lunch an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

I went for an early lunch so there wasn't any atmosphere, but I enjoyed my meal and it was lovely to see Mamma cooking at the front of the restaurant.

I went this afternoon with my friends and we had a lovely waiter called Antonio. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted so he recommended choices for us. The food was genuinely the best Italian food I’ve had in England so far. I would highly recommend. The staff are amazing. Antonio was professional and and didn’t rush us in away! 10/10

Went along to La Mia Mamma on a recent trip to London after reading all the hype and reviews about the visiting Nonnas brought from Italy to look after you. Actually disappointed on the night as we only saw one Nonna and even then only for a split second or two. Definitely doesn't live up to the advertising and the food we had was also not as fabulous as reviews say. Mediocre and actually not very hot even though it is actually served to you in a frying pan. Altogether not the great experience that we were looking for. Sorry! 😟

My mom never disappoints! Romeo saw us emerge victorious from Notting Hill's full menu set, but this time we didn't make it here at King's Road. This doesn't take away from the fact that everything was good, as always.

Visité aquí con mi marido anoche y me quedé absolutamente impresionado por ello! Fuimos por el menú establecido que era de £ 32 (£ 29 antes de las 6 de la tarde) , que incluía una copa de Prosecco, una selección compartida de entrantes y una selección de pasta cada uno. La selección de antipasti era tan deliciosa, que también era enorme! Más comida seguía llegando, en un momento no estábamos seguros de si este era también el plato principal. Para cuando llegó nuestra pasta en realidad estábamos bastante llenos y solo logramos unos bocados (deliciosos sin embargo). ¡Terminamos llevándolo! Tomé el cacio e pepe y mi esposo se fue con el jabalí ragu, ambos estaban deliciosos! El servicio era genial, el personal era tan amable e incluso nos trajo algunos mordiscos para compartir mientras esperábamos en el bar para nuestra mesa. El precio era muy razonable, especialmente para Chelsea! £ 8 la copa de vino y toda esa comida y un Prosecco por £ 32. Desafortunadamente no vivimos en Londres, si lo hiciéramos estaríamos visitando aquí todo el tiempo!

I'm generally a bit meh on Italian food and their vegan stuff isn't great at all, however the staff were friendly and the atmosphere great. The portions were a good size, and the additional bits of food brought around by the 'grannies' is a really nice touch.

Cosiest place with the most at home atmosphere and food I’ve ever found in London!

Inclinado hacia atrás para hacer nuestra visita fabulosa. Excelente comida, entorno encantador y excelente relación calidad-precio. Stephano nuestro camarero era muy atento y tuvimos un almuerzo maravilloso. Le pedimos que eligiera nuestra comida ya que éramos 8 de nosotros y queríamos un servicio de tapas estilo. Él eligió bien, y tuvimos suficiente comida sin estar demasiado enfrentados. El cochinillo era épico al igual que los platos de pasta. No podría haber sido mejor. Y cuando llegó el proyecto de ley todos nos sorprendimos de lo razonable que era teniendo en cuenta la ubicación y la cantidad de comida y vino que habíamos comido.

This is just a fantastic pure authentic Italian restaurant (no pizza) with a vast array of options on their menu. The food is nothing less than perfect and great service. I cannot put my finger on anything that could make the experience better. The food is so good that I ordered more and ended being too full to even walk to the car 😉.

The place seems small inside, we sat outside but we didn't suffer from the cold thanks to the presence of the heaters and perhaps it was even better because the music was too loud (this is the reason for the 4 stars for the environment). The food, however, was really excellent, different choices and portions that were right and well served; prices are slightly high if you inevitably end up comparing them with Italy, but here in London they are average. Highly recommended.

Warning! When you book it says table is for 90 minutes. But we were still eating our main course (set menu) and ten minutes before had ordered a second bottle of wine when we were asked to vacate our table and move downstairs. Then we finished the wine and ate our sweet course and just after the espresso was served we were asked to pay and leave. This is not what I expect from an Italian restaurant. I don’t expect to be hurried. Especially when paying over £80 per person. Food was good quality and plentiful. But a restaurant experience with friends should always be about the overall experience not just the food quality. Hence the low score.

We are Italian and we recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in London and wants to eat something that has the genuine taste of home and not industrial! Stefano and Fiore are two exceptional people, impeccable cuisine and menu. It really felt like home! Ho pranzato con mia figlia presso questo ristorante, con prenotazione. Ci è capitata la cucina sarda ed essendo piemontesi, è stata una bella sorpresa. Malloreddu alla Campidanese e malloreddu al pesto con ricotta di pecora, serviti direttamente in padella e porzioni abbondanti; come antipasto melanzana al forno con fonduta di formaggio e salsa basilico, tutto molto buono, 2 caffè offerti. Prezzo adeguato e servizio abbastanza veloce, posto per buongustaio ed estimatori della cucina italiana.

One of the better meals I’ve enjoyed in 60 years of dining in the Capital. The food, welcome and atmosphere are difficult to surpass and the prices are surprisingly reasonable.

I took my fiancé to "My Mum" in Chelsea for her birthday! Excellent service, every time entering this restaurant, it's like feeling at home in Italy, for the environment, the music, the quality of the fresh ingredients that are chosen and last but not least the service of the staff, fabulous, especially the manager Stefano, excellent person, very helpful, kind and super professional. They offer services for birthdays and special events! The pastas are the house specialty! You absolutely must try it with your eyes closed, you can definitely find real Italian cuisine here 👌

It has the feel of a family restaurant, and the amount of food is probably what your mother thinks you are not full for. You can order appetizers plus pasta or main, but don’t order them all, as the portion will definitely be so big that you won’t be able to finish it all.
