The food has been exceptional, the service and attentiveness of the staff has been quite the opposite. I made a reservation for 8:15 online, when I arrived they did not have my reservation and had me wait an additional 10 minutes outside. Once seated, we had to wait at least 5 minutes before anyone approached the table. Ordering was complicated because of the confusing menu, we had to ask for water as we were not offered it. I am still sitting here right now at 10:00pm without even having received my first course. It's getting too late to even eat my dinner. The music is too loud for a quant Italian place and the environment is nothing like what was advertised or has been seen on the many programs that have featured this place

Had dinner with my family and we had a great time, the food was absolutely delicious, you can really tell it’s freshly made! 10/10 service, we were served by Michela, she was attentive at all times and so energetic and kind! Definitely recommend it🫶🏻

This place is truly authentic and makes you feel back home, in Italy! 💚🤍❤️ They offer a wide range of Antipasti (Appetisers) and Mains, which includes both pastas and second plates of meat or fish. Every few months they pick a different region in Italy and base their menu on its flavours; which is incredible as you can experience a different “Italian cuisine” every time!! They also offer special set menus with set prices (from £39 to £55) - definitely worthy as portions are more than fear (; The day we visited, we also experienced the staff being very nice, friendly and super kind. By mistake, the waiter send the wrong order for my Pasta, and not only he made sure the correct one was at my table in less than 10 minutes, but he also made me keep the extra one to let us try it (indeed was delicious too). In addition, to apologies, he offer us an extra glass of Prosecco on the house (really appreciate it). As per the atmosphere, prepare yourself to live a truly Italian experience, with Italians all over around, Italian flavours and Italian music! 100% recommended 🙌🏽

Authentic Italian food, cooked by Italian Mammas at great prices. Service is great. The way they sing “Bella Ciao” to celebrate guest’s birthdays is so contagious.

This is true Italian restaurant, where you can enjoy real typical food from Sardinia: the porcetto that we ate this evening was better than the one we had in Costa Smeralda last summer.

The food is so delicious especially cacio Pepe I had ever tasted that type of pasta in my whole life . The service is so amazing especially our waiter Rashad is so kind he explained us the whole menu about the allergens and everything because I have nuts allergy I'll come again here to try the pasta and the vibe is also really marvellous. I came here with a group of people. We had a good time. The food was excellent. The service was fabulous. And it's an intimate. Best spacious little place. I especially like the Cacio e Pepe and the branzino. Overall, I would be glad to be back. Shout out to Francesco who was a very hospitable manager.

The waiters did not ask if we wanted water, so we had to ask for that ourselves, The waiters did not ask for our drinks so we had to ask for that aswell. The pork was stone cold in the middle and the roast potatoes were deep fried and not properly roasted. The pasta is the only thing that was okay. Nothing special but at least it’s not bad. It’s so overpriced and a bit of a gimmick.

It is a fantastic restaurant around my place .I was firstly touched by the story of 3 mums with an adoring female heart and then came here so often. Food was excellent. The waiter was most pleasant however, the woman “manager” probably rides a broom to work. She could have been more unfriendly I just know how. It was as though they really couldn’t care less. As we left the restaurant we were looked at but no one said a word. Food was very good but seriously offset by the staff.

The service was impressive, my server ‘Raysha’ was really helpful and gave me great recommendations on what to order, and also very nice when i asked questions. Great cantina. Small and well decorated. Homemade pasta made on the spot at the entrance of the restaurant with the “mamas”. Caccio pepe and la norma very good. Super friendly and cheerful service.

Lively place, with very attentive and friendly staff. The Cacio e pepe was very good. The rib eye steak was too chewy but tasteful. The pistachio tiramisu was excellent. Overall an enjoyable dinner.

We went to LaMiaMamma on King's Road during our stay in London and fell in love with the atmosphere from the first moment we set foot in the place. We were welcomed by Stefano, manager of the pub, who kept us company during dinner, making us smile and offering us exquisite food that made us feel at home, like true Italians. Super recommended place, truly Italian food, unique atmosphere, welcoming and friendly people, a real gem!

Wow, the Pasta Menu is amazing.... They bring out all the antipasti, one better than the other and they top it off with a spectacular pasta... notable for being the parmiggiana, the ragù and a kind of mashed potatoes with honey. And cheese... Great.. Its flavors take you to Italy and the service is first class.. As for the pasta, we ate the fragola with frutti de mare with a real taste of the sea and a pasta with slowly dying white ragu... Also, a nice detail for the diners... They came with a pot of pasta with pecorino and mint ragu and they offered it a little to all of us present, obviously in their line, spectacular flavor.. The portions are very generous and The truth is that the desserts looked very good, they brought out 3 types for you to taste... Although we were so full that we decided not to order them despite the appearance, however the very nice girl in charge before leaving offered us two sponge cake balls that were also to die for... In general, typical Sardinian food... A 10! Excellent price quality!

Booking a table for two in advance was seamless, with a quick and efficient online reservation process. Having dined at many Italian restaurants in London, I can confidently say this one deserves a gold medal! The food and drinks were delicious, and the desserts were nearly perfect. As vegetarians, we were delighted by the wide range of options available. To fully appreciate everything this restaurant offers, you have to experience it for yourself. Bravo, La Mamma Mia!

Out of all the restaurants I’ve been to, this is the best Italian restaurant. I love the cosy atmosphere. The staff were so lovely especially the old lady who served us, it feels like a family atmosphere, it’s really lovely. I love all the food they made. I’m lactose intolerant but I never had a bad reaction to any of the dairy ingredients - I think it’s because it’s all freshly made and they’re home-cooked. The bread they made is to die for. I wouldn’t mind coming back here again.

Went for lunch for 2 and we had the sharing anti-pasti and then 2 pastas - pistachio pesto pasta is a must try. The highlight is most definitely the service. Very friendly & professional maitre d who took great care of us. Made it such a wonderful Sunday lunch. Highly recommended!

After much excitement follwong Stanley Tucci’s praise, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The food was under seasoned and I found lots of hard lumps of uncooked dry pasta in my food. Inauthentic and not cooked by Mamma’s. Sadly it was disappointing and overpriced. This is probably due to its expensive location and rent prices but it’s unable to keep up with the quality of produce required to make a restaurant worthy of a visit. Staff were warm and friendly but food was a low point. Sorry!

What a cozy family-vibe Italian restaurant! Came here for lunch before heading to the Saatchi Gallery for an exhibition, and we had a lovely experience. The £29pp set menu was of very big portions, and we were given a total of 6 different starters to share before the pastas were served. The pastas all tasted authentic, though we didn’t manage to finish all of them simply because the amount of food was far too much for us😂

Amazing night at La Mia Mamma on Kings Road. Although they didn't have our (booked) table ready on arrival, we were treated to a seemingly endless supply of complimentary fizz and small plates before being seated by the wonderfully attentive staff. The current region is Sardinia, which was full of new, rustic-style dishes. The antipasti starter is more like a full-on tapas experience, with perhaps the wild boar salami and the ragu being the highlight of the 5 or so plates included. I then had the lamb stew which was a slow-cooked delight and really went well with a couple of glasses of very good montepulciano d'abruzzo. What can I say, the mamas cooked up a total storm and the place was packed with happy diners. Highly recommended!

We visited this restaurant as a group of four people in order to try the menu for Valentine's Day. The whole experience is tragic!!! From the very beginning the appetizers started to arrive until the last course. First, the appetizers must have been sitting in the kitchen for hours before they were served to us. It was stale. Also, the flow of the dishes was very bad because there was a huge gap between appetizers and main courses, as a result of which you lost your appetite. Furthermore, the main courses were so neutral in flavor that no flavor stood out. I ate the worst gnocchi in my life. I am really sorry that I found this particular restaurant and recommended it to my friends. Tragic! We paid a total of £230 for them! I am sorry.

I spent Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend at this restaurant after hearing amazing things from my colleagues. They had warned me that booking was essential for the occasion, but we decided to take a chance—and we were in for a wonderful surprise. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by Stefano, the general manager, who was an absolute gentleman. To our delight, we were immediately offered two glasses of prosecco, as if they had been expecting us. Stefano reassured us, saying, “Don’t worry, I’ll get you a table.” As we waited, the lovely Mama Ida—such a kind and welcoming presence—greeted us with delicious bruschetta at the bar. The service was impeccable from start to finish. We were then guided to a cozy table downstairs, beautifully decorated with petals, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere. We chose the special Valentine’s menu, which featured a delightful selection of starters, a main course, primo, secondo, and dessert. Every dish was flawless. My boyfriend, who is Italian, was especially impressed—a true testament to the authenticity and quality of the food. The entire La Mia Mama team went above and beyond to make our evening special. Their warmth, professionalism, and outstanding service made it an unforgettable night. Thank you all so much—you were amazing! Congratulations on creating such a fantastic experience.

We wanted a memorable restaurant for a daughter’s 21st celebration with her own mamma and godmother and this place delivered on all fronts. It’s the sum of the parts that makes for a great evening – delicious food, friendly service and a warm atmosphere and La Mia Mamma ticks every box. From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated like royalty by our wonderful waitress Maria, a talented individual who can speak 6 languages. She ‘read’ our party, just three of us, and spaced the courses so we weren’t overwhelmed how much food there was. Their set menu is a steal and worth ordering. It’s designed to impress and delivered on bringing to the table all their favourites. And it’s not just us she impressed, Stanley Tucci is also a fan

Superb from start to finish. The quality of food was fantastic, from the antipasti sharer to start, followed by the Sardegna pasta menu. The taste felt authentic to the core - along with the atmosphere providing a unique Italian feel. Stefano and the team made us feel like part of the family. Cannot fault any element, will return without hesitation.
