Pierino in Kensington and Chelsea

Thank you very much for taking us in five minutes before the kitchen closed on Sunday evening. We were given delicious fettucini, a bottle of wine and told to enjoy ourselves😍

Although the food the was good, some items from the menu weren’t available and the item prices and service charges are a rip off. A proper tourist restaurant for a starving tourist who doesn’t mind paying more knowing or unknowingly.

Delicious, authentic Italian pizza with good prices and fast, family-friendly service. Would definitely come again!

First evening in London, having the house right behind the restaurant, we stopped for dinner, ordered pasta (also gluten-free) and risotto, exceptional and very generous portions. While we waited we were offered some pizza, which was excellent too..

I made a reservation at 6, I was with two kids, we arrived on time and they asked us to wait outside, we had to wait 30 minutes in the cold before we could be seated. Very rude.

Nice little pizza place in Kensington, food and service are ok, small beverage menu. They offer indoor and outdoor seating.

Everything is delightful! The risotto marinara is a must have. The staff were so friendly. I’m impressed.

To find an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of London is a win! The food was amazing, the service was top notch and not to mention how great the staff were. I would definitely go back for the same food and the lovely vibes.

Food was lovely and staff were friendly however felt very rushed to leave. The bill was swiftly handed to us once we finished our meal. Due to this probably won’t be rushing back.

I had a fantastic experience at Pierino in South Kensington. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the service was prompt. The food was outstanding – truly some of the best Italian dishes I’ve had in a while. Each plate was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for delicious Italian cuisine with great service, Pierino is the place to go!

The food was excellent. Very authentic. The staff were welcoming and always on hand to serve. They do like to cram you in. Backs of chairs bang together and fight for space around the tables. Recommended.

OMG! Definitely lived up to it's Google ratings!! 5.0 Pizza perfect thin light crunch crust, i added extra sauce , highly recommended. Incredible flavor and very fresh ingredients. Home Run! I don't know about you but anytime I go somewhere that I have never been I now spend a lot of time reading google reviews.

Pierino hosted a family meal of nine for us. The South Ken location suited us as we were arriving from all over town. From the outset the staff were friendly and helpful, especially maitre d’ Sean. Wide selection of starters, mains and puddings on the menu, which I understand changes frequently. Each of us was happy with our choices. House red and white were very quaffable. We won’t hesitate to go back. Highly recommended.

Great welcome, smiling and attentive, we were lucky to have a waiter who spoke French, beers, the dishes are very good, we had a lasagna and a spinach omelette, accompanied by large fries, good and crispy . The lemon meringue tart was amazing! The other dishes we saw looked just as delicious, an Italian group thought no less. Beautiful address.

the pizza was a bit poor... the spaghetti baked in foil was good... for being in London... the spritzes at the price of £26 2 at least should first of all be made double.. and not with lemon inside but orange..!! it takes passion maybe bhoo..but anyway £74 2 drinks spaghetti pizza seems exaggerated to me...the total..anyway enjoy

They are one of those coincidences that happen when you search in Maps because you have no references, and you are completely right. It must be said that I give a 4 because there is no 4.5, which for me is its score. They were very friendly at all times, and that being the peak meal time. We were lucky to find a table in a good place. Be careful that the place is small. For Spaniards, say that one of the waiters speaks Spanish perfectly, so it makes it more comfortable. He, like all the rest of the staff, 10. The food is also very good. Very well made things with very successful flavors. Going with children is always more difficult, and they loved it too. Super recommended.

We often read reviews that turn out to be real fakes. This restaurant, for its ambiance, courtesy, friendliness, speed and goodness of the dishes, is N°1 among all those who pass themselves off as "Italian". Everything is worth trying but if I have to choose, for me as a vegetarian, I say Minestrone and vegetarian cannelloni. As soon as you arrive you can ask for a simple focaccia as a welcome. If you don't want to spend on drinks, they are the ones who offer you tap water. I had a pear tart SO YOU KNOW. It arrives hot with an ice cream (fiordilatte) to accompany it. Prices absolutely normal. Special task for the guys at the tables, in particular Jesus and Williams without taking anything away from the others. If I could, I would have given 6 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The food was very good, it didn't take long for them to prepare it. The staff were friendly and helpful and appear to speak several languages. There wasn't lots of room at our table but it was enough. It's a small place bathrooms are downstairs, no sign to say where it is.

Four of us (2 local and 2 from overseas) walked in just before the Friday lunch time crowd and were seated near the entrance to the stairs leading to the toilets. A very tight fit meant we had people pushing past us constantly. The menu was extensive and the serving staff excellent and we quickly ordered and awaited our meals and wine. Half way through the delicious meal we had a change of serving person who appeared to be the owner or manager. Very friendly, but also very brusque and as our meal came to an end it seemed that they wanted us to hurry up so the table could be reused. This resulted in a query as to whether we wanted to split the bill (great option) but while watching what was going one else where he missed our affirmative and instead billed me for the whole meal setting up a complex process of transferring funds between countries as we were leaving the next day.

We went to this restaurant for lunch and had a very good meal. The restaurant is very nice and elegant, with attention to the smallest details. The staff were very kind and very welcoming, as well as smiling. The food we ate was delicious and of good quality. Medium-low prices, compared to the quality. The next day we went back for dinner and had the pizza 🍕, very good, top marks. I highly recommend this restaurant - pizzeria

We had the best waiter that we could have hoped for his name was William. He was observant the whole time, he filled our glasses water and wine. He gave us all the information we wanted regarding the menu. I felt like I was back in Italy. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening we will definitely return!!!

Horrible experience here. Our waiter was the most obnoxious person. He wanted us to order the minute we sat down and then made rude remarks when we asked for some time. I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant until last night. I don’t even want to give this place one star!

Right next to London's science and natural history museums, a good place to eat. Excellent pasta and a margherita pizza like in Italy. The place and the service more than correct. Small but nice place and attentive waiters helping the customer. Some even speak Spanish Medium - high price but I already said that it is quality cuisine. For a treat and knowing that you eat well if you dedicate that day to the various museums that are nearby... perfect.

The place is near Victoria & Albert museum, in London. So an area with high visitors and tourists affluence. I'm always cautious about these areas, because the sales level is based in people that probably will not return in a years. Hence the pressure of delivering something very good is of the table. Had take-away, very good! Ordered: Margherita Pizza Prosciutto and mushroom pizza - pizzas had a nice thin, chewy crust. Lasagna - delicate pasta with light tomato béchamel sauce. Very good Spaghetti Bolognese - al dente pasta with a good meat sauce Great place for take-away!

The restaurant is very authentic Italian. Nice pasta e nice selection of wines. They could offer more options as red wines and dessert wines. The pasta is very good and in the right temperature. For me it was a good surprise. Nice option if you are close to the V&A museum. I would recommend just to improve a bit in the decoration, maybe small chairs more comfortable and smaller tables. The staff is very friendly and kind. I gave them extra tip. The price is really cheap for a good quality of food. I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone that is italian food lover.

A good Italian if you are on your way to the Royal Albert Hall. The other restaurants closer to the station are always full so you might find a space here instead.

Called in on the chance that a table was available for dinner - we were lucky. This was our first visit and received a warm welcome as we were led to a table. The tables are close together which may put some people off but the food and service more than makes up for this. Would definitely return!

3 Aussies happy --> 5☆ We had a great lunch at this place on the hop between the museum visits. We purchased the lasagne, the popeye salad, and the colognes, and thoroughly loved our choices. The food was amazing, somehow the service was even better. Our server (the Spanish gentleman, so sorry we didn't ask for his name) was accommodating, humorous and knowledgeable. Portions were big, we ended up taking home delicious leftovers

Awful experience. Huge waiting time, the meals were plain. We ordered a salmon carpaccio and had a salmon salad instead. They charged us and refused to acknowledge their mistake. The salad was also terrible (90% lettuce and 50g of salmon)

Bad service, staff was not customer friendly at all and we paid 94 euros for 2 pizzas and a few drinks! Ridiculous!

The menu prices are artificial and appear reasonable but they hike your bill by 12.5%. Customers should have the option, don't just take. If you want to charge more then make menu prices clearer.

Absolutely fantastic pizza and pasta dishes. The deserted were amazing too, especially the mango sorbet was so full of flavour. The place had lots of outdoor seating in a buzzing part of Kensington. Not too expensive for the location either. Perfect place for a meal after long walk in the gardens or a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Will definitely return on our next trip to London. The staff were amazing, the young blonde waitress was very attentive and friendly making sure we were well catered for.

We were here for lunch. There is a small selection of pasta dishes and pizzas. The food was prepared quickly. The lasagne was super tasty, the spaghetti Bolognese unfortunately lacked a bit of pizzazz and tasted a bit bland. The service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is nice but doesn't have much of an Italian feel.

Absolutely awesome starts, primi, pizza, dolci! Everything very authentic and good ingredients. Service also very good. One note its a little tight so no strollers inside and also they don’t have high chair…

Very welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the margharita pizza and the Spagetti bolognese pasta and both were absolutely incredible! Prices were slightly high but it was absolutely justifiable for the quality of the food. HIGHLY recommend the pizza— it was the highlight of our afternoon!

Pizza wasn’t what I expected but that’s okay. What surprised me the most was the price. Okay, South Kensington is a bit expensive and I’m okay with it, but a diavola pizza can’t be that expensive. 21,90£ pizza and 6£ a beer.pizza and beer totally costed 32£ and no italians ingredients were used to justify the price. Unbelievable

I’ve lived in london for a while now and this restaurant honestly serves the best Italian food this side of the Mediterranean! Pasta is incredible, service is very good and staff are always very polite. It’s the restaurant I recommend to all my friends when they go to London!

Came in here after visit to science museum. Managed to get a table without a reservation. Staff are friendly and the food is ok but for the price you would expect better. Definitely paying a premium being close to where lots of tourists are. If you do eat here I recommend the Pizza. Of everything we ordered it was the best and was pretty good and not too expensive. I ordered carbonara and was disappointed.

The place wasn’t clean, there was a food below the table. The dish (lasagna)was mediocre quality. The toilet wasn’t clean. When asked to package not finished dish they charge 1.5 pound. The service fee was included in the bill and was 11%. The final impression is that it is a mediocre overpriced restaurant.
