A great restaurant of which I have very fond memories.

Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND! I arrived with a reservation, only to find police inside the restaurant and a staff member who was clearly on drugs. At first, I thought it was some kind of sick joke, but it quickly became clear that this was no laughing matter. The staff member started shouting at us and demanded we pay extra just to sit by the window—what kind of ridiculousness is that?! It was a total disaster. We had no choice but to leave and find somewhere normal to eat. Honestly, this place is so insane, it’s almost hard to believe it actually happened. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs!

Twice in a week....why not? Owner reminds me of Mr Fawlty....apart from the diminishing ginger hair

My fav restaurant 🥰 the vibe is amazing, it’s at the same time sophisticated and homey, they always make you feel great. The food is exquisite, and the service is impeccable. Bucci is the perfect host, and I love meeting Ella and Romeo ❤️

We’ve been coming to this restaurant regularly, and it has quickly become our go-to place after long days at work. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming; it feels like home but with the added bonus of being truly pampered. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always go the extra mile to make us feel special. The food is absolutely fantastic – every dish is full of flavor and beautifully presented. Whether it’s a quick bite or a more leisurely meal, the experience here is always top-notch. Highly recommend!

For lunch I have been to this amazing restaurant in Chelsea, London. It is a very chic restaurant with impeccable decor and table settings. The plates and glasses are elegant, and the staff are kind and attentive. We ordered a carbonara and pasta with clams. The taste of the carbonara was excellent. I specifically requested the Italian version, not the English one with cream, and they delivered. The guanciale was plentiful and delicious. The pasta with clams was also delightful. Aside from the misplaced parsley on the carbonara, everything was wonderful.

I had another great experience at Frantoio by Bucci! Amazing food, nice wine and friendly atmosphere! Italian cuisine at it’s best!! I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves fine dining!

Everyone who comes to London MUST eat the tiramisu at Frantoio by Bucci. It is absolutely beautiful and delicious. The staff are kind and multilingual which is fantastic. The languages spoken include Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, French and English. If you are staying at any hotels in Knigtsbridge/ Hyde Park, chelsea/world's end, or sloane Square this restaurant is perfect. The nearest buses are the number 49, 345, and a few other routes too depending on where you are staying. I hope this helps.

If you're not a regular then don't bother. First time I've ever waited 45 minutes to be served in any restaurant, anywhere in the world. Then when we were, we had to confirm with three different waiters for our drinks. The service is awful, no designated waiters to tables and they're surprisingly untrained - one in particular who keeps using the word "darling" is a weird, touchy freak. They favour their regulars who they run around for and sit around chatting to, while you wait there starving. Food itself was also extremely basic - pasta was not cooked al dente/authentically and was soft and mushy, resembled more a school dinner so didn't come close to warranting its price. Starters were okay. If you want a good Italian there are a number of them on King's Road. This isn't one.

We celebrated my mums birthday here and this has now become her favourite restaurant. We were greeted by the owner butch who was very welcoming and spent some time talking and joking with us, the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend coming to Frantoio, but you will need to make a reservation as you will be lucky to walk in and get a table Frantoio thank you so much for making my mums birthday and our visit so enjoyable

Love this place! Always feels like home

One of the servers was so rude. He started to question my guest as to why we asked for a table for 4 people if we were 3 adults (mind you we had two infants in buggies). I told him I’m the one who made the reservation for four as we would need space for the kids. He then said they could have put us at another table, rather argumentatively. I asked if he was indirectly telling us we should move, and he responded with, “You should keep your eyes on the baby in the buggy.” This man was wearing a white button-down collared shirt, either very short hair or bald, and appeared to have an accent maybe Italian or Central/South American. Cannot be certain. We ate 21/05/24, reso @12:30pm. We would have walked out if it wasn’t pouring rain outside. Terribly rude. I don’t care if English was his second language or not, the verbiage wasn’t necessary. I’ll never return here again. Food mediocre.

Top notch cooking from a great kitchen team. Knowlegeable waiters, very courteous. We arrived early , it was pandemonium but the waiting staff kept their cool. Excellent food.. Food prices are comparable to other restaurants neaarby.

This is my new favorite Italian place! It’s a hidden gem. The staff are wonderful, the food is incredible, and the ambiance is the cherry on top. I’m a redhead and we get a free drink! I had the carbonara and it was perfect. The portions are big so keep that in mind! Very happy and will be back soon.

Brilliant restaurant. We had lunch there last Sunday and one of our party was extremely late due to train cancellations. They were so kind and waited for her even though it was almost closing time. We never felt rushed at any time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere relaxing and cosy and friendly. I would definitely recommend it and I hope to be back very soon. Thank you for making my South African guest feel welcomed, thousands of miles from home.

Had a really lovely meal here the other day and the service was great! The Beef Carpaccio was really delicious and the prawn spaghettini delightful. We had such a great time that i booked to come back on Saturday for my mother in laws birthday! Can‘t wait x

I have been there many times, service and food is amazing but the host/owner is the key to success. Only annoying thing was a couple that walked in without reservation and surprised they haven't had a table available which I can only tell them.....welcome to London 2023.... def will come back. Previously making a reservation of course.

Italian gem 💎 in Chelsea. A place where you simply teleport to the scene, aroma and atmosphere of true Italy. Wonderful, dedicated, funny team with a witty sense of humour. Certainly I must mention the owner Bucci who is much loved by all customers. Him and the team raise the place to another level. It is not a place just for a meal, it is a place for adventure. I shall be coming back as I do for the past nearly 4 years.

Best Italian restaurant in London by a country mile

My boyfriend and I turned up on a weekday evening to ask if they had a table without a reservation. The front of house (?owner) came over and said “ouch” about 15 times whilst he tried to find us a table. I said I didn’t mind sharing a table with others. He replied rude and sarcastically “what do you expect me to do with the people that have booked, darling?”. I was so shocked I didn’t know what to make of that. He continued to say “ouch” whilst he pretended to look for a space. My partner suggested perhaps we go somewhere else and he said rudely “I think you should darlings”. I felt so uncomfortable and awkward. I couldn’t work out if he was drunk or rude or just weird?! I’ve never felt like this in a restaurant. It was bizarre and odd. Would never go back!

5 stars in every way! Can't speak highly enough about this restaurant. Very welcoming waiters! Great food, had a mix of dishes from the menu and a special lobster soup (£15)! Perfect cocktail menu, not too much but just enough choice and most popular. A nice selection of wines hy the glass. It was busy but a great atmosphere. Dogs are welcome too. Prices are similar to other restaurants in the area. Approx 65 per head for 3 courses, without Drinks.

Attended a birthday party with about 50 people and had a great experience. The last time I visited was over 12 years ago, and it still is a brilliant restaurant. The birthday boy rightly raves at how wonderful this restaurant is. Bucci runs an authentic Italian restaurant, great food, friendly service, and buzzy atmosphere. If you are chilled out, visit to savour and enjoy. If you are nice to them, they will shower you with Italian charm.

We had a recommendation from our Airbnb and wanted some Italian. We didn't have a reservation but they found us a table. It's a very popular place for many reasons. The ambiance is so comfortable and easy. The staff were very attentive but were easy to chat with. The food was mouth watering delicious and then there was Ella. I hope you all get a chance to meet this sweet little wee girl.

Wonderful visit to Frantoio last night. Service was cheeky, funny and personal. Food was incredible too. Portions are very big so go hungry!

A delightful coffee on the King's Road overlooking Vivienne Westwood's old shop.

Well the place was very nice & so was our table. BUT.. the ‘owner’ was extremely patronising & certainly a misogynist! He had no idea he was being rude to rock royalty Ginger Baker’s (Cream) daughter & John Coghlan’s (Status Quo) wife!! The two he picked out for uncalled for comments. Furthermore, no mention or concession was given to the two birthday girls in the party (Crab Shack recently gave free bottle of Prosecco & candle in a dessert). Some food ok .. tuna steak over cooked & too salty. Bill astronomical & not value for money. Furthermore, one toilet had no covering to the flush buttons leaving the workings exposed! Guys you’re in the King’s Road (& Eric Clapton lives opposite!) Disappointing.

This restaurant is like going to the most fun dinner party ever

A Great little restaurant on the kings road, Typically Italian, Not a big menu but some nice classic’s. I chose the large king prawns in garlic very tasty, Then chicken Kiev served with Vegetables and Roast Potatoes, this was ok but I would not order it again, Tea-Ra-Mee-Sue for dessert, Excellent 👌🏽 Washed down with a cappuccino also very good. Very busy, Nice Vibe, Brilliant Service, Will definitely go back.

We booked a table at 8pm. Upon arrival, we have been told the table would have been ready in 30 minutes, best case scenario. We left. Disgraceful.

Excellent everything is perfect

All round good spot for authentic Italian food. The menu offers a good variety of dishes for ll tastes and service is excellent. The food itself feels of great quality and homemade. I would skip the tomato salad as it is quite literally cut tomatoes and sliced onions. Would recommend the ravioli as the best dish!

Just had dinner with my family and we had the best time at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was great. We will definitely go out for food at least once a week and will be making this a regular visit. Staff were absolutely amazing. We’d definitely go back.

Excellent Italian restaurant, our meals were delightful. Ignore their online menu prices, calves liver was priced at £20, in the restaurant it was £31. That apart an excellent meal.

Five of us went to Frantoio's for a Sunday birthday lunch. This was our first time here and certainly not out last! We were greeted as we walked in. We were seated on a round table by the window. The decor is pretty and light. The ambiance is pleasant and relaxed. We ordered from the a la carte and lunch menu. On the table we already had water, bread sticks, olives and fresh bread in baskets. The food came out hot and timely. I had the spaghettini with tomatoes - a large portion of delicious pasta cooked to perfection! The rest of our group had a mixture of pasta, fish and meat dishes. The food was superb and so tasty. As this was a double birthday celebration the staff sang happy birthday and served us a profiterole birthday 'cake' with candles. A lovely touch. We weren't hurried, the atmosphere was very relaxed. The bill was mid price. Very good value for money. This restaurant is located on the King's Road nearer to World's End than Sloane Square. Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes! I will return to try out the rest of menu. A touch of Italy in the heart of Chelsea!

Excellent family run Italian with an amazing owner, the lovely Bucci. Excellent food and big portions, a very special atmosphere. A long term Cheslea establishment, a must go to and the prices are reasonable.

I went in to ask for a table for two and the waiter looked at me and said: “for you and me?”. I laughed awkwardly and moved on from that and he said the next table is in an hour so I said thanks and turned around to leave. Then the waiter said: “Will you come back? Love you baby” while biting his lower lip! I have no idea why I needed to be exposed to such disgusting behaviour in that 1-minute interaction but there’s definitely no way I would ever go to this restaurant after that.

Fantastic food in great Italian restaurant

I genuinely think that whoever has put good reviews for this place must be a good friend of the owner or never eaten a good Italian meal. This place used to be an affordable place, serving average/OK food. It has now been "gentrified" targeting a wealthier crowd. I'm OK with the change of direction but I expect to see an improvement of the food especially to justify the ridiculous prices. This place is a joke...£30 for a chicken escalope is just an example of the value for money you get. You won't see me again that's for sure. Wish you well

Tasty food with fresh ingredients, service was amazing as well. Very affordable prices as for Chelsea. They have a magician entertaining clients every Thursday and he is top top! Loved our evening there!

Always good fun here! Light hearted and excellent service, good sensible menu with deliciously prepared and presented meals. Good wine choice and very tasteful decor. Great outside seating area too. Good location just after the curve moments from Beaufort Street.

Loved the food, service and overall atmosphere. Spinach and Ricotta cheese ravioli was absolutely delicious. The owner (perhaps manager) was friendly and humorous. The magician, Maxmilian Sommerset, was the star! Lovely place. Would go again.

I think I've been scammed. I ordered the smallest coke and one seafood pasta by myself, and it cost 44 pounds. It's a place I'll never go again. I don't understand why it cost 44 pounds.

Italian cuisine at its charming finest. You may find a more posh Italian restaurant in London, but you wouldn’t find one with more heart!

Food was ok but the waitstaff were not friendly nor attentive - we were left unserved for over an hour. On speaking to the owner he didnt seem bothered by our feedback nor made any attempt to rectify it. Would not recommend going here and will not be returning.

Wonderful old school Italian restaurant and a real gem in Chelsea King’s Road. Not your typical Chelsea restaurant, food is really tasty yet classic, the owner is a real Character and that alone is worth the visit. Will define be back!

Crass service, I felt embarrassed on behalf of our waiter and his ignorance. I have an impression of having attended an Italian-rude -themed immersive theatre & dine.

Very nice lunch there on a Sunday. The cotoletta alla milanese (or veal Milanese) was as good as in Italy, just could have with a bit more veggies and sautéed potatoes. Che figata! Complementi! But one thing that I noticed is that the usual clients get offered a small red menu inside the big one and order different dishes. I also suspect the prices are lower. I strongly believe there is the tourist price or one time timer if you prefer and the regular price for usual people. Which honestly is the minus point. Appart from that everything on the menu in terms of food was looking traditional and the atmosphere was nice. I’ll come back and hopefully get to order from the red menu? :) Grazie

Went for a Sunday brunch. Seafood starter tasted really bad; dry outside and not cooked inside. Calamari rings was more like an elastic bend. Main dish, Macaroni cheese, tasted same as, you find ready meal in Tesco. My friend was not happy with her food either. Dissapointed.
