Aunt made a booking here on the most blisteringly cold evening, and boy was I glad she did. The owner (I assume) was helpful with taking us through the menu, and even warned me about leaving my phone on the table - "not safe!" I ordered the chicken tagine with rice and her the spicy lamb sausage with cous cous. We had the mint tea which was stuffed with fresh and dried mint leaves, perfect for digesting the meat heavy meal. Both dishes and tea were incredibly warming, satisfying and like a delicious hug on the inside. Prices were very affordable for Islington.

Tasty food and was popping hot to my mouth which was enjoyable. Considering food arrived early and I was happy it that it came early. Just sadden they didn’t give me no salad for the curry’s and rice. I also didn’t receive any sauces for poppdoms and had to it it dry. Although everything was to a good point.

While the food and coffee are both great, the service we received this morning was pretty atrocious. We were given our bill whilst still eating and the man had the card machine in his hand. We were frazzled and quite confused and asked him to come back but he insisted we pay. Very weird service

My first time trying Georgian food but really delicious overall. Staff was very kind and helpful when placing order. Service was overall very good though we were largely left alone and probably would have ordered more drinks/food otherwise. Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be back.

J’ai séjourné une semaine dans le quartier et le dernier soir c’était pratique d’y manger… Maintenant je comprends mieux pourquoi c’était toujours vide de clients en passant devant le soir… A éviter absolument, viandes décongelées de très mauvaise qualité , sans saveur (peut-être de la vache enragée ?) Le verre de vin aigre et la bière sans gaz … ( pas de clients pas de débit) Les serveuses sont gentilles mais la patronne plus âgée est antipathique au possible. Au niveau prix c’est un peu plus cher que d’autres steak House bien bien bien meilleur. Une arnaque Totale !

Día 1 en Londres después de 30 horas de agotador viaje , buscas algún Comida caliente servida. Terminó en este restaurante, los chapati integrales son los mismos que hacemos en casa, sin embargo, la salsa tiene un toque bangladesí que no se acerca en absoluto al gusto indio. . la cantidad de salsa también fue muy inferior. Aún no hemos probado otras opciones de curry baratas disponibles desde aquí.

Holy Cow is my favourite takeaway in London. Absolutely delicious - especially recommend the chicken biryani, prawn patia and murgh magalore. Very friendly and prompt service at this branch.
