The best restaurants in Hackney London

A totally unique place for a scrummy brunch. Shared tables, delightfully lovely staff, succinct but great menu. Immensely good value.

The worst Nigerian suya I’ve ever ordered. Not only was it frozen, it wasn’t microwaved properly. The puff puff was an eye sore, probably fried a week before and was microwaved atleast six times. The absolute worst and a waste of my money AVOID!!!!!

El restaurante, situado en la zona de Covent Garden, tiene un pequeño número de mesas, así como un bonito bar en la planta baja. La decoración es escasa, pero muy bien funcional y es perfecto para la experiencia gastronómica. Solo hay un menú degustación, con algunas opciones limitadas y el enfoque se presta a la calidad de la comida, que era excelente. El servicio fue amable y bien informado y el tiempo fue excelente. A medida que el menú cambia con las estaciones sería un placer volver, los sabores en el plato ech eran vívidos y extremadamente agradable. Volveremos cuando esté en Londres.

After a disappointing start to Friday night we Came to Farrs and had so much fun. There was no DJ but the atmosphere that great, great cocktails and the two barmaids were absolutely fab. I will definitely be back.

One of my go-to spots for lunch. Yummy bread & good, filling sandwiches at reaaaasonable prices for the area — my fav veggie sandwich is £8

Like so many we hadn't dined out in a long time and my clever husband suggested to sulky me a mid-week local pick-us-up treat. I can only say wow. We loved Ceres when we last visited in 2019 but the tasting menu tonight with matched wines was out of this world and a steal at the price. Deservedly Michelin-recognised cuisine with such a friendly and professional face (just two young women currently run the whole outfit including single handedly chef-ing and wonderful front of house). Ceres is walking distance for us and we are grateful because it is a destination-grade restaurant. Fine dining for £48pp.

Muy bien valorado y divertido café en una de mis partes favoritas de Londres. Pensé que el café era de muy alta calidad.

Very nice restaurant , the food is original and the wine list very assorted. Beautiful place, for couples or for friends ( and for business too).

Nice relaxed place. Sadly, it will close tomorrow, 27OCT2018. Hope it reopens at another address soon.

Qué lugar tan encantador e increíble, ya que el personal no puede hacer más por ti. Cualquier comentario de menos de cinco es gente que vive en KFC y McDonald's y no sabe qué es la comida y el servicio reales. Bien hecho, nos vemos muy pronto ??

We just popped in from some retail therapy they had bookings but found us a table asked for some sharing dishes really nice great service good size portions tasty food I would come here again

Me fui con un par de mis amigos turcos y me gustó que era más de comida turca para probar que los kebabs que eran tan acostumbrado a ver en los restaurantes turcos. El personal era muy amable y me encanta que tome polaroids singulares de los clientes y consérvalas en una pared de la galería para saborear la memoria; un ambiente muy relajado! Sin duda volveremos.

The bar is cute and very retro. The barman was friendly and helpful. The menu is a little confusing and needs explaining. It was early (7pm) on a Saturday when we went to it lacked a little atmosphere.

Have been for lunch and brunch and also took my granddaughter who had her 1st lamb curry and loved it. Also took home a brownie for grandson and he said it was the best ever. My son recommended this to me and I could see why. Food lovely very clean very helpful and the staff extremely helpful
