We just popped in from some retail therapy they had bookings but found us a table asked for some sharing dishes really nice great service good size portions tasty food I would come here again

We ordered take out delivery, it was amazing, came really quickly, and tasted fabulous. All cartoned up separately for putting together, kept its freshness.

A perfect late lunch - early dinner in hackney. I loved the food here !!! The food came out very fast. Especially the appetizers. We ordered the papaya salad and the summer rolls. Both were really amazing !!! We ordered the grilled salmon which was also fantastic and a side of garlic boi chok that has the perfect balance of garlic and sweetness. This place is a very simple restaurant. They have about 8 tables so it’s not ideal for big groups or a night out with friends. It’s more a place you’d pick to have amazing food and an intimate conversation. Although the place is very low key, it is not cheap. But it is totally worth it. The portions are very reasonable and the flavor is spot on. We paid £ 72 for 2 salmons, 2 side dishes and 2 appetizers.

Deliciosa comida, realmente excelente ensalada de papaya. Excelente servicio y excelente relación calidad-precio. Grupo de seis y todo lo que pedimos fue increíble. ¡Muy recomendable!

Parece una locura, pero debo decir que ahora es mi restaurante favorito. Visité en un capricho como realmente quería probar algunos vietnamitas! ! El vientre de cerdo fue exquisito, el bistec con cacahuetes que se sirve caliente (no recuerdo el nombre) será mi plato al momento. ¡Incluso el arroz de jazmín, los fideos de pollo y los rollitos de primavera fueron épicos! Sinceramente si pudiera comer aquí todos los días lo haría! ¡Increíble! Tendría fotos pero comimos toda la comida demasiado rápido!

I went to eat at green papaya as I heard it was very good. I was welcomed by very friendly staff and the decor was very nice. I was served by the manager of the restaurant who was very friendly and ordered my food. When the food came, it smelt very fragrant. The food was very nice and tasty. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends! A very tasty restaurant and very friendly staff!

Popped in here for dinner before going to a comedy gig in Hoxton. What attracted us weren't so much their Vietnamese offerings, of which there are many on Kingsland Road, but their choice of Xi'anese noodles. I had the Zha Jiang wheat noodles with sweet & savoury ground pork - one of less spicy options and a very tasty one. My husband enjoyed his vegetarian Mount Qi soya tofu noodles. Portions weren't huge so our side order of deeply and deliciously garlicky morning glory turned out to be a good idea. For those after a Vietnamese meal, the restaurant also has pho, bun (vermicelli bowls), stir fries and Vietnamese coffee. A menu with wine & beer is available. Service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is a small and simple place but clean & tidy with some modern touches like copper lampshades. I definitely would return. I'm loving that Kingsland Road now offers a taste of the old Silk Road.

Ordered food. Waiter misheard me. I corrected him immediately, and pointed to what I wanted on the menu and he agreed. I received the first item that he misheard. (Zha jiang vs Dan Dan). The waiter proceed to lie to me, and tell me I received Dan Dan. I know the difference. No chilli oil, black bean sauce, cucumbers = zha jiang. I was supposed to have a spicy chilli oil sauce and pickled vegetables. It was unacceptable that the waiter did not even apologise once and suggested that I was in the wrong. Yes the food was tasty but the service left a lot to be desired.

One of the best meals we have ever had...go to this place...5 Stars!!!!! We had the deep fried squid with basil, king prawns with salt garlic chilli and onion, and the marinated chicken thigh with satay sauce. All three meals were incredible and the chef deserves a huge amount of credit. We will be back!!!!

Zhia Jang beef noodle was a choice I did not regret. Slightly sweet sauce, soft noodle with some cucumber was a very refreshing meal in this heat! The restaurant is clean, and although it was deserted when I entered, the meal was very good and the waiter not overbearing. Again eating Vietnamese on Kingsland High is a good choice.

This restaurant serves amazing Vietnamese food. All ingredients were fresh and tasty, the staff were very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend coming here with friends, family or even takeout.

Small and family owned restaurant in shoreditch. I’d say the Vietnamese food tasted very authentic and genuine, I recommend the green papaya salad with prawns and the baked salmon. Friendly and easy-going service. Payments are only in Cash.

Soaking wet night, walked for half an hour to find this following seeing the reviews I love Thai food but never tried Viet Simple good healthy food with amazing flavours And I thought the price was pretty good Really enjoyed it and will be back
