The best restaurants in Addiscombe Croydon London

I have ordered a few times from here and it is always different. Most of the time the meat is cooked a bit too much and almost burnt. I am not sure if this is a flavour preference but the meat is just way too salty. The food I had today was a lot better than previous visits but still was very salty. However, I would still definitely recommend the Jerk chicken shawarma! The waiting time in the store for some reason is always minimum an hour. I would suggest not to order if you are extremely hungry as you will get very frustrated during the wait. Whilst waiting we were told food had run out and had customers who had ordered after us got their food first, which I thought was a bit unfair. We also heard workers saying they couldn’t be bothered to make white rice despite it being highly requested. It also seems that mainly 1 or 2 workers are doing majority of the work and doesn’t seem fair. There definitely is not much of a sense of urgency from the workers, not sure if this due to the workload or time of order. This place has a lot of potential , I just think you need to change the way orders are taken and brought out so it is more seamless and reduces wait time.

Very disappointed that cash is not accepted, only card payment. Please display visible signage for potential customers to save the hassle of queuing and ordering only to be told that cash is not accepted and never has been.

I popped into the sanderstead branch with my mum and brother yesterday for some sweet treats and coffee. The server was really friendly but very busy making drinks for everyone - it was busy for New Year’s day. The coffee was perfectly fine for a Costa experience and both the chocolate Rocky road and carrot cake were good.

Solid pub. Great food at great prices. Highly recommend for watching sport as well. Lots of large, HD TVs.

A decent Cafe with a good feel, with Bacon proper pork Sausages on the menu.

Good place for grill and Indian take out restaurant.

Very friendly staff and customers, dog friendly would definitely go in this pub again

First time ordering from them and the last. I ordered on uber eats. Had to phone 2 times to find out where delivery was. I ordered a chicken vindaloo for my partner with naan bread and pilau rice. Chicken tikka masala for my self with pilau rice and a paratha, staag aloo to share. Food arrived cold. Both the breads were rock hard when they arrived. Definitely not fresh. Vindaloo is supposed to be a very hot curry. It was not. Tasted like tin tomatoes and chilli. I was able to eat it and i dont like very spicy. I could do a better curry. Tasted like tomatoes with a little kick to it. Tikka masala bland. Not much flavour. Overall very disappointing meal. I did not contact them to tell them at time, because I was past the overall experience

For the the angry man at the counter, Naseim. Who shoos customers away and lies that the manager is calling to ask who you are because you’ve been standing in the restaurant. Naseim you know I was asking you about specials. Btw I saw you pick something from the floor, not wash your hands and make someone’s pizza.
