Costa Coffee in Croydon

I popped into the sanderstead branch with my mum and brother yesterday for some sweet treats and coffee. The server was really friendly but very busy making drinks for everyone - it was busy for New Year’s day. The coffee was perfectly fine for a Costa experience and both the chocolate Rocky road and carrot cake were good.

Coffee is made way too hot, actually could be close to boiling. Ruins the taste, and burned my mouth!

Im not sure why, but I really like the feel of this place. When I buy a coffee from here, I always want to sit down. I find it quite cosy. I don't know if its the dark decor, but I recommend this coffee shop in East Croydon Station quite highly.

Once again Costa came up trumps with an enjoyable Latte, served in my own cup so saving a few pence. Well done Costa.

Having had a nice Ruby Cocoa hot chocolate previously at the Costa in Stratford, I decided to get another one at East Croydon.It should come in a glass cup if you have it there but it didn't.The taste of the ruby hot chocolate here was not as good as croydon as it lacked flavour and all I could taste was the milk and a faint taste of ruby cocoa.

Very quick and efficient service all the time. Staff and manager Bartek very friendly and helpful. Coffee taste tastes delicious every time. I appreciate they working from early hours in the morning but always with the smile.

Me visita muchas tiendas de café a través de mi día de trabajo y como ir aquí como es tan agradable tener una buena taza de té y sentarse.Los precios pueden ser un poco caro, pero no más que otras cadenas de café y el servicio es excelente, así que no me importa pagar más, especialmente cuando es un gran servicio incluido.

Gran personal - me había caído y roto mi taza reutilizables y estaba encantada costa bebida y sorprendido cuando lo cambiaban gratis ya que era mi culpa. Como de costumbre, el café estaba bueno y agradable ver que están tratando de lidiar con problemas con vasos desechables a diferencia de algunas de las cadenas!

Un sitio para tomar un buen café. Buena calidad y presentación. Innumerables variedades de café, para todos los gustos.

Vi anunciada una nueva bebida Lindt chocolate caliente y así que decidí probarlo. Todavía tengo sueños del chocolate caliente espeso, exuberante y cremosa que tuve en París y parecía ser comercializado como similares.Cobran 2 libras. 95 por una de tamaño y así mis esperanzas eran altas, ya que significaba que era rico e intenso por lo tanto no hay opciones de tamaño.Imaginar mi decepción cuando me tomé un sorbo sólo para obtener un retrogusto suave de potencia - por desgracia era simplemente otra bebida en polvo chocolate caliente.Estoy decepcionado, ya que realmente no hay nada especial. Sí, probablemente un poco mejor que un promedio, chocolate, pero no justifica la etiqueta de precio para el tamaño dado.Tendré que volver a París. .

He usado este Costa mucho y muy bueno en general. Estás rara vez mantienen esperando largo y el personal siempre es amable aunque no siempre conseguir el lugar en pedidos mi experiencia. Es pequeña y puede ser un poco la corriente con una barra puerta intuitivo. Luz agradable en en la ventana si quieres leer o estudiar o reflexionar sobre la vida.

Always good service here. Friendly and quick staff. Always pleased with my coffee or cooler and toastie. However some of the customers that you get here can be quite rude and are only here for a seat.

El personal es muy grosero. No esperes una sonrisa, pero no espero ser descortés. Si su personal no puedo resistirlo y te dan un aspecto desagradable cuando un cliente pide una cuchara de plástico para ir con su orden, hay un problema, especialmente si es en un "café premium".Lástima, porque en realidad como en la costa, uno en East Croydon. No voy a ir allí porque está ocurriendo prácticamente cada vez y después una vez más hoy he tenido suficiente, así que en esta etapa yo no quiero pagar para que alguien sea grosero conmigo. Nice coffee. Quick service. Good selection of cakes and snacks on offer too. Speciality coffees on offer too, depending on the time of year.

theyoffer a large range of cakes and toasted sandwiches. many coffees to choose from. An ideal place to pop in for a breakfast before starting a shopping trek. I had a very tasty cheese and sundried tomato toastie. Staff always very pleasant

My visit to this very small Costa Coffee in East Croydon station was extremely disappointing. I ordered my coffee and toasted sandwich then sat down. The "Barista/Maestro" was too busy restocking shelves to actually serve customers. So as each item was ready I had to go and collect it myself. This was made more difficult as he shoved chairs in front of where I was sitting, impeding my route to the bar. The food was served not on a plate but in a paper bag - I expect this in McDonalds, not in a "premium" coffee shop. It was messy to unpick the food from the paper it was stuck to. Not sure I was wholly successful. And there's no WiFi! What kind of a coffee shop has no WiFi? Only go there if you're desperate because it is truly an awful experience. Rude staff and high prices.
