The best restaurants in Church Street City of London, Westminster London

I love this restaurant - charming atmosphere, amazing and authentic food. Sadly it hasn't been open for a while now, perhaps even since Covid in 2020. Does anyone have any news or an update? I'd love for this gem of a restaurant to open up again.

Fantástica tarde de celebración de un cumpleaños atendió a 40 miembros de la familia. La comida era fantástica, sabrosa y auténtica, estaba muy contento de que se sirvió caliente y sin ningún hipo. Gracias al dueño del restaurante, prácticamente nos hicimos cargo del restaurante y los demás clientes disfrutaron participando en las celebraciones. Gracias a Ali y el personal que trabajó muy duro para garantizar que tuvimos un gran tiempo. También fue genial que hay aparcamiento gratuito los domingos justo fuera. Gracias Lahori, sin duda volveré!

I went this place with my father who was here for a visiting trip. we loved it. quality of food were very good , all kind of appetizers and main and drink appeared to be right in our taste.

I came by chance and found a great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. I recommend it

Absolutely delicious smash burger. Thick enough to have the inside pink but smashed enough to get all the crusty bits. Brilliant and dangerous as a lunch option, particularly with clean taps and a good selection of craft beer.

the drive doesn't know the address. it takes more than 20 mins to deliver my food. he doesn't understand English properly. my food came so cold and the chicken. I was with him on the phone helping him l. he went to ring in another apartment to someone else building. this is not the first time with this delivery issues. I am not hungry anymore. I even went downstairs to look for him. I didn't find him. so useless. I am not happy with the delivery system

Awful place with an even worse female staff who decided to make fun of me in her language and the guy near her did not even stop her despite buying several cakes, as I always did. I also remembered the several articles in the media about the Westminster council inspections and what the staff told the inspectors when they found 'brown stuff on the floor' - 'is chocolate vermicelli' the staff said!!! I wonder if the staff would eat the mice vermicelli themselves? I will never forget this. Run away. Do not put up with rude staff and buy items you never know what the next inspection is going to find about them.

Así que fui como dos tres veces por el té (chai) Trabajo cerca, pero cada vez que vas dicen que no porque mi pedido es de menos de 5 libras, pero aún así les estoy pagando y cada vez que vas siempre te dicen que están ocupados no tienen tiempo para hacer el té si no puedes, entonces despega a tu menú, son demasiado perezosos para hacer cualquier cosa.

Mi orden nunca llega. Intenté llamar pero no contesté, la línea estaba ocupada. Traté de obtener ayuda de la aplicación - solo comer, pero podía obtener cualquier ayuda. Intenté cancelar mi pedido pero se llevaron el importe completo

So this restaurant was taking part in the Eat Out To Help Out scheme where everything is 50% off when dining in. I double checked this with the waitress before placing my order. Big mistake... I was treated differently from that point onwards. I placed an order for one Shish Taouk. There are 2 sizes, small and large which I forgot to stipulate to the waitress at the time. The waitress didn’t bother to ask me either. Moments later when I realised I asked the waitress what size is my dish (small dish is £8.50 and large is £11). The waitress said she ordered me the large dish because I had to spend a minimum of £10 with the Eat Out To Help Out scheme! However this isn’t true. There is NO minimum spend, but with a maximum of £10 discount per person. I did not appreciate her dishonesty. Her service was poor also. To make matters worse this restaurant is clearly not bothered about social distancing. Every other table had tape plastered on it in order to adhere to the social distancing rules. However a customer sat on one of these tables which was adjacent to me and was served by the waitresses (as shown below). I asked one of the waitresses why this was happening and she didn’t seem to care. So I asked the manager, who gave his name as Ali, why are you asking customers to leave their name and number when you’re clearly not abiding by the social distancing rules? I told him I felt I comfortable sitting less than one metre from a fellow diner. His response was it shouldn’t happen but he can’t control where people decide to sit down and eat. Well it was the waitress’s job to ask the customer to sit elsewhere. The manager didn't fill me with any confidence that changes will be made for me to want to return anytime in the near future.

Vale, un montón de defectos en el restaurante MID. 1 . No se puede pedir desde la caja, poner a los CLIENTES primero. ¡Vamos? ¿Qué sentido tiene tener una caja, si no se puede pedir de la caja. 2 . Nos gritaron, ¿para QUÉ? ¡Tu equipo debería hacer más TRABAJO! 3 . Las mesas y los baños son terribles. Sin papel higiénico. ¿Cómo limpiamos? Todos pueden gritarnos y hacernos ordenar desde el quiosco. Pero no puedes rellenar papel higiénico. No es de extrañar por qué este es el PEOR KFC en Londres. -De ninguna manera. 1 estrella. Además la cola no es buena y la comida no es tan INCREÍBLE como otras tiendas. McDonalds es mejor. Gracias. 3

Pedí con ubereats. Literalmente, la peor comida que he probado. Todo tenía un aspecto y un olor extraños. Muy similar a cuando abres comida para perros. Sentí que alguien me estaba gastando una broma, honestamente. Mi orden fue PRANWS DEL REY DE ORO PINCHOS DE POLLO SATAY ARROZ CON HUEVO FRITO POLLO CRUJIENTE AHUMADO Una pérdida de 30 y era una hora tarde, lo que en realidad no me habría importado si fuera comestible.
