Bake & Cake in City of London, Westminster

Awful place with an even worse female staff who decided to make fun of me in her language and the guy near her did not even stop her despite buying several cakes, as I always did. I also remembered the several articles in the media about the Westminster council inspections and what the staff told the inspectors when they found 'brown stuff on the floor' - 'is chocolate vermicelli' the staff said!!! I wonder if the staff would eat the mice vermicelli themselves? I will never forget this. Run away. Do not put up with rude staff and buy items you never know what the next inspection is going to find about them.

Una cafetería moderna con una variedad de tortas, desde rebanadas individuales hasta tortas de celebración y decoraciones para comprar. Tanto el café como los jugos eran buenos. ¡Los pasteles parecían deliciosos, pero no me permitieron comer uno!

Recogió algunas cosas desde aquí antes de volver a la casa de la autopista. Nos dieron una tarta que estaba delicioso, y una tarta de café con caramelo que me dijeron era bastante bueno también. También conseguimos uno de los jugos y que de nuevo probado realmente bueno. El precio era muy razonable y todo el lugar estaba muy limpio, incluso los baños estaban impecables. El servicio era un poco malhumorados, pero no dieron un grosero así 4. Gran variedad de postres y desde nuestra experiencia muy deliciosas.

Nadie ha notado que este restaurante está cerca Orpington? Las tres ramas están en North London unas 13 millas) de Orpington!

Pedí la tarta con la garantía de que se hizo el día siguiente. La orden se colocó en uno de la rama (Kilburn), y cuando me volvió a recoger, no tenían ni idea de lo que estoy hablando de tarta. Entonces nos dijo que podría ser en la sucursal de Edgware Road, que era. Sin embargo, no tenía idea había otra rama y fue inaceptable. Incluso tuve que pagar un depósito antes. Llamé y hizo un pedido en Kilburn, ¿por qué en el mundo debería ser en otro lugar, estúpido y no tiene sentido. The service given by the waiter was awful today. He just put the stuff on the table without making any eye contact and by ramming it in different directions on the table. They were not busy so could not see why the need to be rude. Furthermore the cake quality has dropped noticeably and is not what it used to be, it was stale and felt like it had been sitting there for some time. The tiramisu was all soggy and wet and did not feel very fresh. The cappuccino i ordered had coffee stains dripping down the cup and drips of coffee in the coaster, which looked, disgusting and unappetizing.

I went there for breakfast twice. I once had the Lebanese breakfast which wasn't bad for a restaurant in London. I also once had the English breakfast, it was delicious. They put good portions, and it isn't very expensive. The cake and dessert taste good. I advise people to eat there. The service is a bit weak. I find the waiters getting busy more than they should over a couple of customers. Good place, thumbs up.

We were there today and it was amazing.staff are very kind and quick , also the customer service is great.i always go there now and it is one of my favoured restaurants. Finally I highly recommend this place as it is 5 minutes away from a train station and not far from the post office,flats and many other shops . Finally the cake was the best I've seen in London and any design you pick they will make it better than you expect as my birthday cake was AMAZING !! Also if they create a cake for example a phone or scenery they make it with very fine detail and care.

I have been ordering cakes on various occasions from this establishment and have been very satisfied. Only for the second time I sat in to have a cup of hot drink and a piece of cake. What can I say - it was so delicious. The staff was friendly and the prices are so much cheaper than many other well known establishments. If you are having a special occasion and looking for a good cake, it is worth ordering from them regardless of where you reside.

credit to all that work here, front staff and those who made my sons birthday cake. very happy was my son and his friends when they saw this cake . just as requisted, chocolate sponge, choc cream, spiderman picture on a frame of white cream.and to top it all had to be egg & nut free. very impressive. thank you.

Great location on the quieter end of Edgware road only a few minutes from the tube station. It’s a very big cafe with ample seating inside and outside. They have a great selection of freshly baked cakes and arabic sweets and baklava. They also sell made to order cakes including wedding cakes. I have brought a few of their full sized cakes that they always have ready and on view for day and the quality and freshness is great. The cappuccino and coffee are good quality and great prices to match.

Questo posto è il mio preferito la cucina è ottima i dolci sono uno spettacolo solo a vederli si spende poco e si mangia davvero bene.La cucina è libanese ma potete gustare degli ottimi panini di falafel a 3 sterline.il locale è molto solare giovanile fresco sono tutti giovani e l'ambiente è accogliente.anche per una pausa o una merenda è ottimo

excellent cakes i guess one of the best so far, value for money and tea also gr8. side order like chicken grill panini are brilliant pure value for money. nice atmosphere feels like in Dubai or Saudi when your there. cant say more highly enough of this place.

For an affordable menu, this is one of the best places to go. Especially good for it's Lebanese breakfasts, thyme pizzettes served only in the afternoon ('manakesh') and it's selection of ice creams and milkshake. Best of all, a varied menu from hot dogs, to Philly steak sandwiches and pasta, to shawarma, hummus, moutabbal etc - and it's all halal. Super.

This place is hard to figure out. When you walk in there's a bakery counter on your right. Straight ahead on the left is a sort of fast food deli counter, but if you go up to order someone approaches you, hands you a menu, and suggests you take the seat. The food isn't bad; it's actually pretty good in an unremarkable way. You get a view of the street so it's not bad for people watching and it's just across the street from a post office. It's not a bad place to stop for a bite but they really don't make their layout or processes very clear at all. This seems to be a business trying to be 3 things at once and only achieving moderate success.
