Just a quiet place to have a cuppa and something to eat

Le Rose has now been replaced by a new Italian restaurant (sorry forgot the new name). This place has delicious food and amazing cocktails, I want to gatekeep so it doesn't get too busy, but don't want to risk it closing as it is worth Michelin stars. The service is incredible, the food out of this world and the cocktails insane.

Mustafa and his team catered a charity event for us last night - 100 people, all very satisfied! Good food, excellent value, outstanding service.

I first reviewed this cafe in the first year it was opened. I still rate the raspberry friand available here and to be honest only pop in for that as I walk through the park now rather than stopping for a coffee. The last two times I have ordered a coffee it's unfortunately been way too hot and left a slight burnt taste. The cafe is small with a large outdoor space which families with small kids seem to enjoy. The cafe itself really needs a bit of spruce, more and more things seem to take over the indoor seating space, almost like a storage spot it just feels like it needs a refresh.

Love the ambience! Food was delivered fast by efficient waitress. Hot and brilliant presentation. Service was great and friendly. No complaints at all from members of my family and we are already planning a come back!!!

Booked an early table straight from work as we usually do. Haven’t been in for a couple of weeks and the flavour of the food was like a memory foam and had me questioning as to why we’d left it so long since our last visit. The prices are very reasonable and WOW do they make you feel welcome!!!

I called to make an order for collection which was lamb doner and pitta bread. I asked for the price the guy said £9.70. I said to him to put mayonnaise and burger sauce on top of the doner. I came to collect the food as he said 10 minutes it will take. I got the food and took it home only to find fatty hard pieces around the box from the doner and the wrong sauces which he put (chilli and garlic). I was contemplating in buying from there as the prices in there are overly expensive. He gave me burnt doner pieces that tasted like he just got it out the freezer and the box had fatty oil pieces that were pealing off from the box. It was disgusting and had to be thrown in the bin. Never getting food from there again and it was the worst doner kebab I’ve ever bought or tasted. Wouldn’t recommend!!

This was my second time here & it did not disappoint. The decor is lush, green & inviting. The waiting staff very friendly & the food choice is right up my street. Of you like truffle, you must order the truffle chips! My only dislike is that the coffee comes in a cup & not a mug but can easily be forgiven as the food is so nice. I’ve been with family & separately with friends and both times we all had a wonderful time. Price was average for the area too. Will definitely return!
