Hassan is an outstanding owner, who makes you feel more like a guest at his home than a diner in his cafe. The cafe was buzzing on a Sunday afternoon, but he had time for everyone and even rushed away to help a couple with their buggy. My friend and I had the signature ‘Brunchie’ and Hassan’s recommendation of the Red velvet cake was on point. The cake was moist (yes, I said it!) and so good that we got the Biscoff cake too. E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T!

Been lots of times but not for a Sunday roast. Wow! We shared a starter - just as well - the portion size for the roast was huge. Nice to see other desserts on the menu as well as the white chocolate cheesecake. Staff super friendly. Cannot fault it.

Went to Bagatti's early Friday evening, Was made very welcome as usual, had the carpaccio beef starter which was very tasty follow by the best lasagne eve, washed down with a couple beers and finished off with a fantastic Tia Maria coffee. Nice see Peter Bagatti is still around and that Geogeio has kept this excellent restaurant serving great Italian food.

We had a party of 30 here and everyone agreed that the food was amazing, the service was polite and nothing was too much trouble. We initially needed to drop the cake and some balloons before the party and even though the restaurant was closed they opened so we could do this! We were not rushed at all during the time we were there - there isn't a 2 hour turnaround like other places! Highly recommend!

Commande à emporter, pizza margherita + Tiramisu en dessert. Pizza prédécoupée, pate un peu fine, mais tout était bon, c'est validé.

Great atmosphere but the food is overpriced and not great quality. Josef is brilliant. He creates a traditional Austrian atmosphere playing Tirolean tunes and playing the cowbells which was all lovely. The food however was disappointing and overpriced. My friend is vegetarian and there was very limited choice. We both had ķäsespätzel and it was more like a reheated macaroni cheese than anything I've eaten in Austria. We had kaiserschmarm for dessert which wasn't very fresh and was served with a small portion of what appeared to be tinned prunes or maybe cherries.....we weren't quite sure. I've been to this restaurant a few times before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food used to be very authentic (I've lived in Austria) but sadly the current chefs don't appear to be to the same standard. Such a shame.

Restauranten er bra og maten er god. Men var ops på at de tar ekstra betaling for servicen uansett. Litt irriterende at dette ikke står noe sted på menyen for eksempel. Men kommer selvfølgelig fin trykket fram på kvitteringen. Prinsippsak !

I recently enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea experience with my friend, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully decorated setting that immediately set the tone for a delightful afternoon.

Well, we were here today for a Mothers Day lunch. We’d been a couple of years ago and it’s been decorated since then. It looks much better. We looked at some of the meals been served nearby and they all looked decidedly underwhelming and a bit “ greasy spoon cafe”. So, undeterred we thought we’d play it safe. We just ordered mains. One daughter had the mussels and my wife, myself and our other daughter had the roast chicken. The chicken was really nice but the vegetables were overdone, the Yorkshire pudding was a limp sponge and my roast potatoes looked like boiled ones. Having said all that I did polish everything off and it was quite tasty. Jess said her mussel sauce was a bit bland and the portion was small for a main course. As for the positives: the wine was good, my gluten free beers were great, our cocktails (quite a few of them) were very good and so was my coffee. But everything took an age to come out of the kitchen and one of the blokes bringing it out looked like he’d been sleeping in a duvet in the nearest bus shelter. Our waiter, the only English chap, was excellent but he had to keep apologising for the slow service. For Richmond, the prices were not bad and we actually had a very nice time - but then we are a family that gets on and pretty much always have a good time when we are out. In essence, it’s a good place in some ways but a gastro pub it is not.
