I love the food from Andy's Greek Taverna. Everything is super tasty and high-quality, and the portions are very generous. The vegetarian Moussaka is one of my favourites! And they always send me a treat! Thank you so much!

Stumbled upon this gem! We unexpectedly discovered this charming taverna right beside the car park near Camden Market. Warm welcome and incredible food. From the moment we stepped inside, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic! We visited Kefalonia last year and every meal was delicious, and this taverna easily matched that quality. The portions were very generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for London. Highly recommend!

We have been gradually working our way through the greek restaurants of Camden and the surrounding area since lockdown began the first time around. Just ate from here and can say so far it is the best. Perfectly grilled meats, light and fluffy tarama, crispy breads and all the desired sides and accoutrements. Really reasonably priced as well - £32 was an absolute feast for two. Update. I have now gone to Andy’s in person on a few occasions so can comment on the service which is absolutely fantastic. It feels like a real family restaurant with the staff making you feel a part of that family. We mentioned we wanted to try some wines and were basically treated to a run down of the whole menu - for free. Absolutely love this place it’s such a gem.

Best Greek food I've ever tried. Wow!!! The food is amazingggg and so authentic. The kleftiko is a must. The leg of lamb (kleftiko) is their speciality and is perfection. We also had the feta aubergine, taziki and garlic prawns to start which were all 10/10 😍

We went three days at different times and they always treated us wonderfully. Andreas spoke a little Spanish, which made everything easier. Food always perfectly cooked, fresh, good portions and very well priced. The moussaka, the sea bass, the starters were all very good. They invited us to coffee and a dessert, a filo pastry and cream cake, delicious.

Superb local family-run Greek Taverna in Camden with great prices, delicious home cooked Greek dishes and friendly service. I can highly recommend the chicken souvlaki skewers and their mixed starters - ideal for a meal with friends or family. Definitely coming back again soon.

We had a family dinner here. Someone told us this was “ old school” Greek and I Agee and it was fantastic! Whether it was the appetizers or the main course the food was incredible and is definitely with the visit!

Calamari, butter lime prawns, seabass grilled, and butter lime sauce are outstanding. The entire team provides immaculate service. Hats off!

I couldn’t believe how value for money the traditional Greek Food was and as a Greek Cypriot myself, I felt like I was in Cyprus with all the delicious ingredients and definitely recommend anyone to try the Special Mixed Souvlaki!!! Thank you again

A traditional style Greek restaurant just a stones throw from Camden station. The team were very attentive and friendly. The soulvaki and mixed grill are must haves, they were delicious and portions plentiful. Unlimited bread when you order sides. Overall a very good experience. Nothing elaborate but solid Greek food. Suitable for the family, couples or business meal.

On recommendation of young Gary and his Cameraman, (please see his YouTube channel, Gary Eats) We ventured across London without booking. A wee tip please book, as we were lucky it filled in minutes. The welcome and recommendations from the waiter were sincer and enthusiastic. It went uphill from there. I ain't got the vocabulary to describe the meal or ambience. Where's the but? We didn't want to leave that's the but. Gary.... Not the best Greek restaurant in London. It's the best Restaurant!

Food was very good and the staff friendly. The only comment would be that the door was opening non stop for delivery people/customers and a lot of cold air was coming in. We were sat right next to the door and couldn’t be moved. Other than that, a really nice evening.

First time at Andy's and will definitely come back. The atmosphere was buzzing for a Sunday night. The food was fabulous and great value. We did have the option to go into the larger room but the atmosphere in the main restaurant was so nice we didn't want to move even though we were in path of the door opening all the time which was quite cold in December. But overall definitely a winner. No wonder they've been in business for so long.

We were back after a few years and were glad to see that the food quality has remained excellent. The prices were very reasonable as well. They gave us free drinks on the house, which was a nice touch since we were celebrating.

Such an amazing place! Me and my boyfriend found this little gem online whilst planning our trip to London for our 1st Anniversary. The food was soo delicious, the staff were not only very friendly but so attentive to each table, even with a fully booked restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and friendly without question give this place a visit ..... 10/10!

Had the kleftika and the kataifi and it was great. The service was lovely and attentive even though the place was busy.

I was in London and was recommended Andy's, what a great Greek restaurant, had a kleftiko and it was the best I've had, it came off the bone and melted in my mouth, £15.50, unbelievable value, then I had coffee and a desert, total including service abut £25! That aside the owner and staff were great, I will go up London again just for this, just wish it was my local, I'd be there every week.

We had a wonderful experience here for my birthday last Saturday. Andy and team were so accommodating making room for our party of 20. Food was delicious, great value for money (given it is central London) and service was so warm and generous. Our favourite meal was the kleftiko which was so tender, falling off the bone. We even got complimentary shots on the house. A huge thank you - we will be back!

Amazing place - glad I found it for a pre roundhouse meal! Huge portions and extraordinary value for money… shocked places like this still exist in london. Tremendous and will certainly be back! The shared set menu is - MASSIVE and delicious. Excellent warm service. Really positive experience. Busy - felt like old school London. X

Best Greek restaurant I’ve been so far in my life

Disappointed that my souvlaki wasn’t served with pitta (I did ask when we ordered). The dolmades were cold on underside so not sure how they were heated. I would rather it said on the menu the Gigantes were served cold, assume they were meant to be. It was busy and good atmosphere but food just didn’t hit the spot for me. I can’t be bought with a free shot I am afraid

Lovely staff and great food . Restaurant is in two parts next door to each other. We were seated in the more casual of the two restaurants ( there are two separate entrances ) as we had a wheelchair and the other part had a large booking and it would have been too cramped. It was a bit chilly where we were sitting as waiters were going in and out to/ from next door but I just put my coat on 😀 on and it was fine Excellent food and desserts, very reasonably priced for Camden and attentive service. We ordered some takeaway too for my mother to eat the following day. Thank you very much . I’m sure we will be back as my mother lives about 10 minutes drive away. X

Amazing Greek food and lovely staff!

The food and service was excellent! Unfortunately on arrival we were directed outside to the " next door area" for smaller parties. That was fine! However when enquired as to where ladies was was informed I had to go outside into main restaurante area. It was at the back and had to navigate my way through busy restaurante and waiters serving in a very narrow gateway? Toilets literally enough for one person and unisex! No room! Back to the side room and door was constantly opening and shutting.as the food was being transported. Out from main side of restaurante, outside restaurante and into to side room. No through passage or corridor???? They really do need to think about reconfigurating this place as seems they had lovely restaurante and just bought next door for more seats. This in Winter or when pouring with rain? Unfortunately for this reason will not return!

We first found Andy’s Taverna when we stumbled across it when looking for somewhere to eat, and we were not disappointed. We came back for a second time and it lived up to our memory. Delicious food, amazing service and just a great authentic ambience of a taverna you would find in Greece. The moussaka was 10/10 - so yummy! This is one of our favourite restaurants in London for sure, we love it!

I've been to this place twice in recent weeks, and on both occasions it was an exceptional experience. It's a very unpretentious place, it always seems busy with a great atmosphere. I got very warm welcome from the owner who said if I didn't like my food he would swap it for something else. Well, he didn't need to because the kleftico was superb. On my second visit he remembered me and made me very welcome again. This time I had the stiffado which was fabulous, an amazing aroma of cinnamon and clove when it was placed in front of me. Both of these meals were accompanied by salad and bread, and the portion sizes were just right. On both visits I had baklava with ice cream for desert. With the bill you'll get a free shot and after that he offered me a brandy as well. By this time I'd got chatting to other customers, and the owner came round with a bottle of amaretto! Amazing. I don't think you'll find better value for such good food in London.

Is a nicely hidden away place. We arrived early and seemed closed...but it wasn't. We were early. Is very authentic and food is tasty. Service was good. Overall is worth visiting. I would not say is Amazing but if you are around give it a go. I think is definitely worthwhile at least one visit.

Enjoyable and good food. Went yesterday again for a meze lovely chicken kebab and pork as well as the kleftiko came of the bone. Asked for extra bread and pitta bread. Yesterday I enjoyed it a lot. The chicken souvlaki as well melted in your mouth.

We had a lovely dinner here on 31st of October. We were served by very friendly waiter, and later on we had a warm conversation with the owner. This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere, fast and friendly service. I particularly liked their baklava. Will definitely go there again!
