Greek and Cypriot restaurant with a fine selection of quality traditional food, served fresh and with heart. The chef has been cooking here for fifty years with competence and charm. We chose to go for it...having the mezze plates- an insight into much of the menu. We were repleat but the hosts insisted on a complementary house desserts and homemade grappa. Our arms were twisted as were our taste buds. Lovely relaxed family friendly restaurant for all. Warm welcome too.

The food was great and service amazing. We had a private party and it was wonderful.

The restaurant opened out of normal working hours to meet our group's needs. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was served in a timely manner and was tasty and more than sufficient. Finally, they provided our group with recepticles to take the leftovers home for those who wished.

I was in town for business for a week and this was the best food I found, easily beating a Gordon Ramsay place I went. Food was great, atmosphere was fun, and the staff was very nice. I just went back five years later and it's still just as good.

The food here is simply wonderful! Some of the best Greek food I’ve had. The staff are lovely too. A real family feel to this restaurant evidenced by us being offered a free dessert. A lovely experience. Will definitely be back.

I had a very nice grilled octopus , probably the best of my life. It was super tender and almost melting in the mouth. I was expecting the usual chewiness but was nicely surprised by the texture

Quiet and superbly cooked dinner spot! I ate here two days in a row! It was even better the next time. I will be dreaming of this place while away. Vas and his team are the very best. Feels like I am at home when I am here.

What a wonderful place for a family celebration. Alex was an excellent host, as was his team. And the food was delicious, especially the fish mezze. It was a great find and all around great dinner. We will definitely be back to this family run Greek!

A special place, we have traveled to Greece. The service has been lovely, they have helped us with the language and the choice of food, they even had a detail in the dessert. The quantity of food is abundant and the quality is great, it has brought us closer to the Mediterranean in this beautiful dinner.

A very good place to go for home-style Cypriot/Greek food in a relaxing environment and great service. All the dishes were cooked well, great taste on most of the dishes, good portion sizes and decent prices. The mezzes were delicious and great for sharing (highly recommend the greek sausage). The chicken souvlaki I feel could have had more seasoning and flavour, but was cooked very well and wasn't dry. The staff were super friendly and sociable and made for a wonderful dining experience. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from and would happily come back to try other dishes on the menu.

What can I say, another good review for The Four Lanterns. The food was great (lovely olive oil!) and the service was brilliant. We found the restaurant by chance, but it is now firmly on our radar for a return visit when in the area.

We visited The Four Lanterns whilst visiting London to watch the Phantom of the opera, we had a recommendation from my brother who visited in August and said the food was Amazing. We were absolutely delighted with the place, really nice atmosphere, staff were really welcoming and you could see your food being cooked in the open kitchen. The place was lovely and clean particularly nice toilets which I always think is a good sign lol. We had garlic mushrooms and garlic prawns for starters which were very generous in size, then came the main…skewers for hubby and I had the Beef Stifado. One of the best meals I’ve ever had! There was so much beef and the tastiest sauce. We had the desserts which were to die for and I would recommend a shot of their home made grappa to finish off your visit. Really reasonably priced, staff and owner are lovely and this place is definitely a hidden gem. A must to eat here whilst in London just wish I lived closer! Thank you guys for your hospitality.

Booked here for my brother’s birthday. The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating and provided a beautiful cake. Had such a lovely evening would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

HIGHLY recommended! Delicious food, outstanding service, very warm and friendly owner (Alex) and his staff. We ordered sea bream, Scotch salmon, vegetarian moussaka, Greek salad, and hoummus. Baklava was the best we've ever tasted. Everything was fresh and plentiful. It was quite a delightful dining experience!

Chicken shaslik, Greek salads and Lemon Chicken soup. All freshly prepared and highly scrumptious! And the dessert: orange cake and baklava were magnificent. We highly recommend you make this a stop when in this part of town. You will not be disappointed!

With apologies to my favorite Greek restaurants back home, I think this was the best Greek food I’ve ever had. Dined here on Christmas night and the staff made us feel right at home. We started with the dolmades and they were very good. We were a party of three. We ordered the main lamb dish & the mixed grill. The lamp was amazing - it literally fell off the bone. The meats on the mixed grill were seasoned perfectly. More than enough for three people. We kept eating because it was all so good. Save room for the orange cake - couldn’t figure out what was in it but was amazing. Treat the staff right and they might have something extra for you with desert. Here for 10 days & I’ll definitely find time for a second meal here. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent! Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and authentic as any taverna in Athens. The tzatziki sauce was the best we’ve had anywhere. It was bright, zingy, with subtle layers of balanced flavors. It’s close to a couple of underground stops, which make it easy and accessible. Delicious!

This is a decent Greek restaurant. I don't think the mezze was the best value meal I have had or the tastiest but the service was good and the overall price reasonable. Food more of a 3 than a 4 but we are going again with work and looking forward to trying the standard menu

The experience was wonderful. The food is very tasty. I had the lamb souvlaki and I just loved it. I have to blame my self that I did not take a picture of the lamb souvlaki; it looked soooo good. This place is definitely worth a visit. Besides, the background music also makes people feel good. I will absolutely stop here often in the future.

We came here based on the reviews, and we were certainly glad we did. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, very friendly and you were made to feel like a regular, even though it was our first visit. The kitchen can be seen from the seating, which is always nice, as you see your food being cooked from fresh. Every dish we had was perfect, and the wine, beer and extremely strong liqueur! helped it all go down well. We are so glad we visited, and will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

This restaurant was close to our hotel and given the great reviews we decided to visit. In the words of our 7 year old son "this is the best Greek restaurant I've been to in England!" We loved it. A delightful, cozy family run Greek restaurant with a great selection of starters and main courses. The Greek salad and souvlaki were wonderfully perfect. Leave room for mouth watering baklava or their orange cake. If you are adventurous ask for a sip of the blueberry infused grappa, just be sure you have a safe way home!

Great food amazing staff and excellent value for money

It was one the best restaurants we have eaten in London for many years. It is only 10 mins away from Soho so don't be put off by its location. The owner Alex and the waiter Andi were so helpful and friendly. We had so much dishes and cost us only £33 each and ertainly made a good choice to bring our friend over to this restaurant. We were craving greek food and this was the perfect place, the food was exquisite especially the grilled sardines and the pork souvlaki, the staff was super friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.
