Just so good. Order the Achari with garlic rice - I’m still reeling from how much I enjoyed it. Will order from them again!

I used to visit this restaurant regularly up to Christmas 2021. This was my first visit this year and the ownership has changed again! There were three lights switched on in the front part of the restaurant and the light was poor, the heating was off and there was no music at all. The 'waiter' had difficulty in the first part of my order for 2 Plain and 2 spicy poppadoms and a bottle of Cobra, after several repeated requests he finally got it right all except for trying to give me 2 bottles of Cobra at the same time. I decided to skip the starter and ordered Chicken Jalfrezi mushroom rice and okra. The food arrived but the waiter handled the plate with bare hands and not covered with a serving cloth, whilst he was getting the food i used my pocket sanitiser to wipe the plate where he put his thumbs. The chicken was tasteless and was possibly boiled, in fact the whole meal was tasteless. I paid the bill and left at 9.45pm. Within about 1 minute of my leaving the restaurant closed and the shutters were closed. This was a Saturday evening and it appeared that I had been their only eat in customer. I don't think that they will survive much longer. A great shame that a nice restaurant with an hygiene rating of 5 last year appears to be on its way out.

Awesome food- best South Indian and Indian food that I had in ages, amazing people there - looked after us through out. Would be visiting there more often now.

1st time to order from them as thought I'd try a different Indian delivery this time. very disappointing, all 3 Currys tasted pretty much all the same and all the same colour and looked like the same sauce. prawns was tasteless and hard and lamb was a bit chewy. won't be ordering again.will stick to my usual.

Asistimos a Rukhsana un domingo para el cumpleaños de mi padre. El anfitrión principal fue muy acogedor y se acomodó bien a nuestras necesidades. La decoración está bien. Pero la comida era deliciosa y bien disfrutada por los 11 huéspedes, incluidos 2 niños. Mi esposo dijo que su pollo con chile masala era el mejor que había probado en todos los restaurantes a los que había asistido (que es mucho). Me alegro de haber ido gracias a las otras críticas en TripAdvisor.

Buenas opciones vegetarianas en una amigable casa de curry local. Las porciones son generosas, así que solemos ir con un biryani de verduras con lados adicionales.

This restaurant is not in the most popular area of London and you would probably only go there you lived local. Inside the decor is nothing special but I did like the framed wooden art. Our family live nearby and have eaten there and had quite a few takeaways and I have eaten there a couple of times when visiting. Six of us visited early evening as had 2 children in the party. The children made very welcome and I was pleased to see that child size portions were available of the more popular dishes. The meal was well cooked and really enjoyable. Had the poppadoms then the children had lemon chicken and a chicken tickka masala with pilau rice. We had a thali, biryanis and some side dishes which were served hot and without too long a wait. We had plenty to eat although one of the party only had a starter served at the same time as the main meal. Four us had dessert. We also had between us 2 cokes, 1 bottle white wine, 2 beers, 2 brandy’s and 2 baileys. The bill was just over £100 which I think was fantastic value. There were 2 staff in the restaurant at that time and both were helpful, especially the older gentleman who was a delight. I would recommend this restaurant for a tasty Indian meal

As always the food was excellent and the service from abdull and staff friendly and efficent,as always. Have been coming here for over 20 years ,best indian in s e london you can have a meal for 2 with a couple of beers for about 30 quid or so and i have,not bad in this day&age cheers abdull. 😎🍺

Stayed at a friend's and ordered takeaway. Great option of dishes with a wide menu and fantastic option to order dishes as either a side or main. Enjoyed my chilli potato side, then discovered our vegetarian samosas were in fact meat. My veg sambar tasted really bland and looked exactly the same colour as the aloo gobi and the chilli potato so the food felt very generic to me, unfortunately. The meat eaters enjoyed their rukshana chicken dishes and the guy on the phone was really nice. Just very disappointed with the dish and the meat mix-up. Not the best curry I've ever eaten, by a long way.

I've visited this restaurant on two occasions & can guarantee it's a welcoming place. The owner, Abdul, makes it his business of knowing your first name & addresses you accordingly. As for the food, it's substantial without being gluttonous. If, however, you're immune to salt a quiet word may be necessary as this seasoning is used liberally. All in all, a quiet, friendly restaurant which is well worth a visit.

The thaka dahl is amazing, as is the onion bhaji. Am vegetarian and that's no problem with this menu as most dishes are available as a vegetarian option, plus there are lots of vegetable sides. The family who run the place are really friendly and put our leftovers into containers to take home.

Best curry I’ve ever had been a loyal customer for about 10 years, don’t live in the area anymore but anytime I do come back to visit I can’t resist a curry from here. Haven’t ever found a Indian takeaway that has come close!!! Definitely recommend!!!!!

Sorry to say but the food and presentation was terrible.

The poppadom was fried in burnt oil so it tasted horrible. The rest was OK, nothing special and all a bit oily. Very mediocre.

CHICKEN WAS PINK! ABSOULTELY DISGUSTING

When our food was delivered the delivery man gave very bad attitude and told us to calm down when he wouldn't hand us over the food by our back gate instead of our front door as we do not use the front door.

Having lived here for 3.5 years, I'm annoyed and gutted I've only just discovered this gem...three weeks before I leave London. This place is proof that looks can be deceiving and you should never judge a book by its cover. It's not much to look at but it is by far one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten in for ages. Great service - friendly, helpful and attentive - and very tasty food. I went for the classic chicken tikka masala which has always proven to be a good benchmark. This was most definitely one of the best. It was accompanied by fluffy rice and sweet pashwari naan. My partner had one of the chef's specials which was full of flavour and to quote him, 'amazing'. The whole meal was very reasonably priced and worth every penny. I shall be making the most of this new discovery while I can and only wish I had made this sooner.

I'm sorry to give a negative review, but the food was tasteless. Especially the lentil soup, that was basically water and a bit of lemon. I've tried many restaurant in London (I'm a food photographer and I had the pleasure to photograph and taste in so many places), but never had a soup so disappointing. Out of 3 dishes, one was terrible, and 2 eatable but not special. Sorry

The food was lovely and was of a good price. It was delivered around 15 minutes earlier that predicted which was a bonus. Only issue was I requested for the bell not to be rung as 2 small children were sleeping. Will order from them again in the future.

Such a great find this place. We have ordered from this place a few times and asked for the chicken tikka rezala to be a little bit more spicy which they delivered on. will definitely re-order. Definitely our go to place for an indian takeaway.

Curry better than average but both mains were incredibly greasy. I had to drain off the top layer over the sink. Other than that was ok.

Never a shortfall in the taste of the food. Partner loves the chicken tikka rezala. Slight delay tonight and we needed to reheat but would definitely reorder. Delivery guy lovely too.

The food came earlier than I ordered which was great but if you do want the food for the specified time then mention that in the comments so it doesn't come earlier than you require.

We order from here very often and are always really pleased with the food, usually great quality great taste etc. Great curry today however both naan breads were gritty this time, almost as if there was sand in them-not sure what happened there. The rest of our order was great though as usual.

15 minutes was added to my delivery time and on top of that they were 20 minutes late. Food was warm (not hot) but tasted ok. Not sure if I'll order from them again in a hurry, very disappointed.

Everything was fine except the food isn't hot. Had to use my microwave to heat it to a decent temperature.

Food was good, but I didn't realise the garlic chicken tikka was quite dry, no sauce. Also the keema naan, all the meat was all squashed in one corner. But I guess it's hard to deliver it flat. Other than that it was good. Friendly guy and came within about mins

My prawn vindaloo was way too oily and even though the flavour was fine I have had much better vindaloos elsewhere. Wouldn't order again

Some dishes were great e.g chicken paneer and pistachios and some were not e.g. special potato was far to sweet and a sauce like jam. Delivery was very quick and friendly

The Peswari Naan was the star of this order. Main order was really oily and perhaps a bit too bland for a curry. Delivery was friendly and within a reasonable time.

Really nice food! Great flavour and good quality of ingredients. We've been to this Indian twice, however on two occasions they've been really late which has been disappointing. First time was two hours late and second hour and half. The takeaway just need to make people aware of real waiting time before ordering. If you can wait for the order it's a really nice meal. If they improved their delivery it would be 5*

The food was only Jst warm, very oily and no real spice or flavour ! It cost 30 pounds for 2 , and never came with free poppadoms.

Best Indian by far! The food was cooked the perfection, and the delivery came 5 minutes early :) Only slight criticism is that there were no drinks on the 'Just Eat' menu. I tried to find them and search them, but there were no drinks on the menu :/ Other than that, it was superb :)

Best Indian restaurant/take away I have ever eaten. Good prices, friendly staff, amazing food (especially Korma and Pasanda). Decorating could be improved, especially the hole in the ceiling that's been there for years.

Can't fault it in anyway shape or form! I had a phone call about 2 minutes after ordering to confirm everything and then maybe 10 minutes later the food arrived. Tasted amazing, the chicken korma is to die for! and so is the lemon surprise dessert!

The meal was delivered just over an hour from ordering so not a particularly quick service. The quality of this place is usually very good, but the chicken pieces in the chicken tikka pasanda were not particularly great though. Disappointed this time.

I saw the great reviews (thanks everyone!) so thought I'd try a new place. Absolutely delighted by the food.

Meal arrived quickly and the deliverer was friendly. The Tikka Biryani was well worth the money.

The food is so tasty here particularly the chicken tikka rezala and chicken tikka chilla masala. Very quick delivery and really pleasant staff. Only criticism would be that the food is quite oily so I would avoid anything with sauces if you are counting calories, but I suppose you an Indian wouldn't be the best choice anyway.

Good food but never get the mint sauce or onion, so put into the message box. But told to click on chutneys and would get it, but no as have 4 pots of chutney!!!

The delivery turned up over 30 minutes late. Korma was good and Chicken Tikka good quality. But disappointed by the Butter Chicken and Nan Bread. Positives - Good Chicken Tikka and massive Onion Bhaji's Negatives - Took far too long to deliver and the Butter Chicken and Nan were terrible.
