Love this curry house! Iv been a customer for at least 20 years. The staff are so lovely and the food is delicious! I would highly recommend

The meal was delicious, sadly it arrived barely warm and the courier did not have his tracker on and seemed to take forever and not knowing where he was.

Never had a bad meal from here! Portions are good and food is always very tasty.

Didn’t seem to be much chicken in the chicken biryani - no big pieces at any rate! So rather poor quality for money! Just mostly loads of rice. Small runny portions of vegetable curry not generous and thick portions like they used to be!

Arrived warm but the food was delicious, will be ordering again. The lamb was so tender, lovely.

Food was very Flavoursome and arrived hot. Was extremely satisfied.

Food was hot and tasty. I tried the Nobabi-E-Azam which was spicy and slightly sweet and delicious.

The only Indian restaurant I’ll ever go to. Tables are laid so neatly and nicely plus inside is super clean. Food is amazing - hits the spot every time and very good value for money. Also waiter with the glasses gives amazing service, always friendly with a smile on his face. 10/10 recommend this restaurant ❤️

Food was very late. I had to get an update on my order over an hour after confirmation and upon request money back due to late delivery, this was denied by the restaurant. Food was cold when it arrived and the rice portions were not filled properly

driver put that she delivered waiting on street for 20 minutes even though asked and pre ordered order to be delivered for 21.50 hours rude manners not happy

We had a meal for our neighbours 82nd birthday and it could not have been better. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. What a brilliant evening out. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. A massive thanks to all the staff especially the chef.

Phenomenal! Had monsoon take away tonight & was Best Indian I’ve had ! Amazing flavours , fresh produce & high quality ingredients!Been my go to for 10years! You must try the paratha bread , the king prawn puree & most importantly the chicken tikka balti! Thanks so much for always going the extra mile and great service must come and eat in again soon.

Superb Indian restaurant. The mango lassi and the mushroom bhaji were particularly wonderful. We sat down, but they also do delivery and takeaway. Highly recommended.

other than the delivery guy obviously not taking as much care as he should when delivering the food. and the korma comming open & spilling all out into the bag & onto the onion bargies & ruining those making them soggy, it actually tatsed really nice. one of the best prawn puri we have had also what was left of the korma we tried it taste nice although it was cold due to the container being open & spillage due to it being shaken around. but thats the delivery guys fault, not the restaurants.

Popped in on way home from work, wow what a surprise! Staff very pleasant and efficient. First impression.. clean and comfy. Food was really tasty and plentiful. I’m quite fussy in the way of cleanliness and getting what I pay for. I’m well travelled and enjoy an array of food. The food here was probably one of the best Indian meals I’ve had and I’ve had a few! I was really impressed and have no problem recommending it. We will definitely be back!! Looking forward to my journey to working in London again..

Lovely little restaurant with great food, reasonable prices and very attentive service. The emphasis on "little" as unfortunately one drawback was the lack of space, such that our booth was rather cramped and getting in and out was a challenge. Other than that, parking can be tricky before 6:30 if you're an early diner, although in fairness to the restaurant that's not something they can do much about. Nonetheless, the food was very tasty and portions were satisfying, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we were well looked after. None of the minor "negatives" detract from that and I would certainly recommend a visit.

Food arrived a little bit later driver said was confused with roads. Food was freezing cold Madras was so watery with no flavor. To be honest none of it had any flavour and all of it was just freezing cold. Will not be ordering from here again!! Waste of money!!

We've been using the Monsoon for years. Easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. Good food, good service, value-for-money and just around the corner. Lovely people. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Garlic naan was OK, meat samosas were good, chicken masala is going straight in the bin! This is too sweet and looks like a korma has sweet coconut in it. This to me isn't a masala so maybe they made a mistake.

What is there to say about the wonderful ‘Monsoon’ restaurant that has not been already said by far spicier souls than either I, or my own dear wife. The vegetable dansak is a modern marvel; while the naan sisters Peshwari and Garlic have never been so irresistible as in the hands of these fine artisans of all things turmeric; or even just turmer-ish for those with milder palettes! For a beloved local vendor who will delight you with their splendour, look no further or nearer than dear monsoon. Run don’t walk, grab a knife and a spoon, its time to sit down, and order Monsoon!

I give no stars for food quality, but to be able to substance this you have to choose 1 star. But trust me I have given zero stars. because the quality was absolutely terrible. Firstly it arrived cold & everything was bad. The Black burnt hard as rock onion bargies, the saturated oily lamb sag with lamb that well you wouldn't give to your dog. The masala had water still floating all around it. I mean ro pay over £30 for a meal & recieve what I received was a big wake up call to how some of these places really just don't care what they send you. It was tho they sent me all of there messed up old ruined food.. this should not even be classed as a restaurant. NEVER AGAIN. Oh & what else this place did was they put on the app that it had been delivered before it was even delivered so it looks like they delivered within the time. But they come quite a bit after

Tried this restaurant once a while ago on the off chance and never went back. The meat thali is amazing in terms of what you get for the money and the chicken dhansak is to die for. However on this occasion the food was horrendously late and freezing cold. The lamb meat was like rubber, and everything else was sub standard. I can only hope this was an off day, I will order again but if the food I receive is to be anything like I have just experienced, it will definitely be the last.

Food was nice but ordered a chicken dopiaza but received lamb. Considering it had taken nearly 1.5 hours to receive the order already and by that time it was quite late we just made do.

Great food, perfect service, incredible prices. Everything else that I've ever reviewed as five stars should now be dropped to four-and-a-half stars. If you're counting the pennies, then this is the place to eat and drink. A large bottle of Cobra for less than a fiver! Support this place, friendly staff working hard to make your evening as tasty and fun as possible! (I realise this probably reads like a paid review or something, but honestly it isn't. It's just crazy that this place has been so close to me for so many years and I've never eaten there before...)

Went early with two young children and had a great evening. Great food and drink, with attentive and understanding service. We'll be going back very soon!

Second time I've tried this restaurant within a week. Pleased to say that each time was a delight. Have spoken to friends and they said they've enjoyed the food too.

The staffs are really welcoming and the service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable for Indian dining in London. The foods are good though lamb curry feels like not very fresh.Tandoori chicken is very good. Overall, quite average Indian food for me as there is no wow factors in the food. A generous suggestion would be to maintain the fresh quality for all foods served. I am sure that people won’t mind paying extra and the value is very good for the foods already indeed. Renovations of the place may attract people more for dine in.

I have been eating here for twenty years, both seated in or having take-away - they never disappoint. There are several Indian restaurants in the area and they are all good, however Monsoon has consistently been better. Their portions are never skimpy with meat. Their lamb samosas are fat and even with delivery, are always crispy outside and deliciously moist and meaty inside. I can also recommend their Biryani, Tikka and Tandoori dishes. Their staff are friendly and actually look like they enjoy their jobs, which is nice.

1st time ordering from this restaurant so glad found it will definitely order again x

We ate here this evening and had a wonderful time. If I could give more stars I would. Highly recommend! The food was delicious, generous portion sizes and fantastic value for money. The service was great. The staff are so friendly and attentive. There's a lovely atmosphere. It's definitely our favourite place to eat in Catford.

1st time ordered food from here and last. Horrible stale tasting .All dishes tasted bad and we're full of salt. Even forgot a item . What a waste of money.

Was not to usual standard for monsoon. The rogan josh had no taste. The best thing about the meal were the oooo dons and mint dip. In the past we have had brilliant food from this restaurant.

Returned to our favourite Indian restaurant for a really good meal. The food as usual was delicious, so tasty & so well cooked & presented. It is always such a a pleasure to be served by the knowledgeable staff with such a delightful attitude. Would definitely recommend for a a great meal in pleasant surroundings.

I was quite disappointed with the food yesterday. This has always been my go to Indian restaurant/take away. The naan yesterday was hard and burnt. And, the lamb pathia was cold and the lamb was hard to chew and eat :/

Food came quick but made me question how fresh it could be I ordered the paneer which was horrible literally plain taste like water and paneer other food was under average quality I'm would not coming back here or recommend

Although our food was delicious we had to heat it in the microwave as it was just warm.

Used to like this place but no more. Order was 45 mins late and cold. Complained to Just Eat who refunded me half of what I paid for my order even though my WHOLE order was cold. Apparently this is in line with their “cold food policy”…absolute garbage. Won’t be using this restaurant or Just Eat again!

All dishes both meat and veg had no flavour. One item was missing also. Your better off with a pre-packaged microwave meal from your local supermarket, much more flavour.

Monsoon is my local, and it's an excellent local to have, but my order was delivered incomplete. Missing items that have been fully paid for. Really disappointed.

A small friendly restaurant. Food outstanding. But a little bit slow only noticed 3 people working on the floor but the food maid up for that.

Fantastic food and quick delivery.

Most of the food was good but I was disappointed with some of the dishes. The texture and taste gave the impression that they had been reheated several times - the paneer and potatoes in particular seemed stale. This was my first experience of this eatery so it is doubtful I will order from them again.
