Suruchi in Lewisham

Been looking for a good Indian takeaway for a while now since local one closed down. Tried 4 or so and all were not that great so am glad I’ve finally found this one. Flavour full dishes, would highly recommend!

Ordered the meal for 2, delivery driver was early, and very friendly. Food was delicious and in such quantity that it looks like we'll be having some for lunch tomorrow.

Very poor quality food - dried out burgers that are inedible. Ended up in the bin. Absolute waste of money. McDonald’s next time. Don’t be fooled people - this is the second time this place has sent out inedible food to me - gave them benefit of the doubt the first time.

Disappointing. Not freshly cooked food at all, the chicken pakora batter was bland mush. Samosas bland & reheated. Let's cut to the chase, any passion for food is clearly lost. How are you okay sending this average, microwaved heated up food out? It goes with out saying that I wouldn't order again.

Honestly cannot go wrong with the food from here. Another top notch meal delivered early.

Excellent quality food, best in the area. Delivery driver arrived with a smile despite the stormy weather and a decent drive to my address from the restaurant, which I appreciated. I was able to meet him outside the block on this occasion but would like to note that I mostly request deliveries after my child is asleep and wouldn’t normally be able to take the lift to the ground floor to collect it. However on this occasion I had company!

Overpriced - £15 for a normal size takeaway box king prawn biryani and it had about 3-4 prawns in it. Had to come here as my usual Indian was closed.

Absolutely best in town!! Randomly tried once after so long walking past the restaurant and now its one of my favourite places to eat from, Food is sublime.

Was awful to tell the truth to many peppers in the bhuna and everything tasted minty

Paid £14 for 2 pieces of prawns halved in very little sauce and huge chunks of crunchy onion and bell peppers. On top of that the chicken Manchurian literally tasted like chicken in mint chutney. (Absolutely not what chicken Manchurian is!!) highly disappointing. Not ordering again

Ordered a takeaway with lots of poppadoms. Very disappointed that they only provided mint sauce. Every other place I have ordered from provide mango chutney as well!

We really enjoy Suruchi's, we go often. It is a very nice restaurant with excellent service, very good Indian food. I tend to have either the butter chicken or chicken tikka masala (creature of habit), but my partner likes to try different dishes and generally enjoys them. It's a very relaxing place to go.

Price hike bad £2.45 added to main sides of bombay potato. Most meals have gone up this much.

Quality food And great service

I’m a curry lover of over 35 years, eating in many different restaurants. I can honestly say that this one is great. Curry meat, sauce thickness, flavour & spice levels are excellent. Nan is decent which says a lot. Very tasty dips as well.

Gutted! Left a review the other week, was raving about how tasty and reasonably priced it was. They’ve hitched their prices up and now more expensive that other local restaurants :(((

One of the best restaurants in Downham. I always come coming for the lunchtime buffet. Plenty of tasty options for veg and non-veg. The chicken pakoras are amazing and fresh. Special shout out goes to Rej who made sure all our needs were attended to. Thank you Rej for your amazing customer service.

Send leaflet through door stating buffet from 5 to 11pm on a Sunday. Get there and no buffet. Nothing. A total lie and misrepresentation. Don't waste your time. A joke.

Food was cold. Curry below average, watery and bland, including a lump of something crunchy and inedible which stipped me eating more. Really dissappointed, i was extremely hungry.

Parts of my order were missing, as we’re plating up there’s a massive chunk of wood ,clearly from a spoon in the saag aloo. Complained to the restaurant and all that was done was send the missing food items. This place is usually really good but the food and service are really dropping.

The food was good. But the delivery took a really long time. This is the second time this has happened. Also we ordered vegetable tikka masala for a vegetarian, and we were sent chicken tikka masala. This is the second time they've done this. Last time we didn't call the restaurant, but this time we did. They promptly sent out a vegetable tikka masala. We may order from them again because we like the food. But we were disappointed by the delivery time and mistakes.

Meal was beautiful , portioned well and fresh - very enjoyable. I have given 1 less star as did arrive only Luke warm not great considering I’m only 5 minute drive from restaurant.
