Very good fresh food but on basement isn t nice....

We treated our elderly members at our 'Friend in need' centre today with the generous donation from a friend of mine. Mustafa, the owner of 'Tops Fish Bar" was far too generous with the food he served us and our members really enjoyed their lunch. We wish him all the best. We really appreciate his kindness.

Thank you for cooking the cod fresh when you were preparing to close. It was absolutely fantastic. Generous chips (not fries) tasty as always. Worth travelling the extra distance.

I looked this place up on Trip Advisor, drove over 5 miles to get there, and arrived at 20.15. It is a tiny little place, with probably enough room for 12 seated. On arrival I was told that I would not be able to eat there, only take away. There were only four other diners. I had endured a long day at work and wanted to sit down with a beer and have a couple of sushi rolls. I explained that the website indicated that the place was open until 21.30, but was told again emphatically (and rather abrasively) that they were taking no more sit downs that evening. I was offered no explanation for this. No apology or sympathy was forthcoming. The guy behind the counter simply didn't care. I have no idea what the food is like as I went elsewhere, never to return. Save your money and spend it where the staff have a little more personality and appreciation for your custom. Appalling!

Delicioso y barato - £ 6. 50 para un inglés completo! El pan que usan estaba delicioso y el café también. Sin duda volver de nuevo para el desayuno y la necesidad de probar el almuerzo, ya que se veía delicioso Solo efectivo, pero hay un punto de efectivo 2 tiendas abajo

Fantastic place, really made our baby shower special thank you

I was really disappointed when we came here. I read all the good reviews, saw all the pictures of the cool cocktails and was really excited. We ordered the drinks with lollipops - they arrived with no lollipops. They were just basic cocktails that weren't that nice tasting in a normal glass. Not like the pictures and with no lollipop as listed on the menu. Then as we started our food, which was quite nice they started clearing all the chairs and tables out of the restaurant around us which made us feel really uncomfortable and completely ruined the whole experience. They were holding an event there which meant we had to leave by a certain time which wasn't a big problem for us but as we'd booked well in advance they could have emailed to let us know as we'd have gone elsewhere.

I moved to the area 4 years ago and have been here time to time. It's cash only and I was £1 short but the guy let me have it and said pay him back next time. You can call ahead and pick up because they prepare everything for you when you order so can wait up to 10-15 minutes. I usually order a fish and chips from here for £8. Happy that it stayed open during the pandemic because as a key worker I'm tired after and sometimes want a quick tasty meal. The food is good, the staff are friendly and the portion sizes are generous. I'm going to be a regular.

I love this little Italian cafe, it's brilliant for a (very thick) hot chocolate. Similar to what you'd get in the Italian Alps. A lot of people like to come here to sit outside with drinks in the summer too, so it's good all year round. Inside is also a little treasure trove of Italian goodies, which are delicious but also great for gifts. I'd recommend popping in if you're in Church Street.

Visited this place few years ago and been recommending it since. Delicious pizza with really well made toppings (in house and fresh), we were served despite being rather late. Also prices are fantastic and very refreshing in comparison with most of London.
