I've been back to the Lebanese Delicafe for the second time and was really not impressed by what I received. The mixed mezze with meat was really poor. "Made to order", as the owner stressed to me the food was , does not mean prepared the day before and then reheated in the microwave. The portions were small, the mezze dishes lukewarm and the 'Lebanese bread' (from a packet) hadn't even been heated and was cold and hard. I paid £7 and won't be back - there are far better places in the area, such as the Lebanese Express a 15 minute walk away.

What the cafe does it does well, at good value prices. Nice chicken shawarma and mezze, but there are equally decent places in the area.

My girlfriend introduced me to this place reluctantly as she wanted to keep it all for herself. After my lunch, I understood why. The lady who made our food was so incredibly friendly and wow can she make a chicken shawarma. It's the best Lebanese food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Some people have said the interior leaves more to be desired and to be honest, I completely disagree. This cafe lets the food do the talking. I had a table and a seat... why would I need anything else? And again, I completely disagree with another review saying it seems like a Shisha bar. It doesn't. At all.

Colleagues recommended I went out for "falafel friday" and i'm so glad I did. I had the falafel special which was £3.50 very well spent. Would highly recommend visiting for lunch but there are only 6 seats so get there early or take away.

While visiting the Lebanese DeliCafe today I read a review which claimed that they served 'the best Lebanese food in the capital'. A big statement to live up to, but after tasting the food myself I can believe it! Even my boyfriend who is half lebanese himself agreed, and claimed that it massively resembled his Dads home made cooking (and let me tell you that is the highest compliment he can give!). The soup was made fresh and to order, the mezze offered a large variety of dishes all freshly made and we were offered some baklava as a sweet which was delicious. A few things in particular that I feel I should point out are the homemade humous, freshly made tabbouleh and ultimately the best falafel I've ever tasted, which made the cafe worth a visit in itself! If the opportunity rises, you should definitely go to the Lebanese DeliCafe... it comes highly recommended!

This is a lovely place. Good surroundings, attentive staff and lovely food. I like the more laid back and casual atmosphere. I must admit I am not familiar with Lebanese food so took recommendations from my colleagues and our waiter. What we received was very tasty and fresh, all the platters offered different flavours and a good evening was had at a fair price.

Food was alright... my friends enjoyed the food... size of the dishes were definitely smaller compare to the price.. the lavatory needs to be cleaner...! If you want to only depend on the smoking (shish) bar business.. then fine... otherwise.. you may think about improving the interior..

Went for a weekday lunch last week. I had the falafel special wrap and a homemade lemonade. Both were delicious, with the falafel fried fresh and the wrap prepared before me. Such a bargain too, we managed to grab a seat at 1pm. Will be going again soon.

The Lebanese Delicafe primarily serves vegetarian and vegan cusine. I therefore find it hard to see where Mr Boris K can find fault with the 'burnt meat from the grill' as there is neither grill or grilled meat on the premises. In my experience the food is beautifully fresh and very tasty with a good standard of hygiene all round. I very much look forward to eating here again.

Delicious fresh home made Lebanese food, all at very good prices. Not much room to sit, though there are a couple of tables. When I went I had a falafel and hummus mezze with home made fresh lemonade with rosewater. The owner is enthusiastic and friendly, and the place is spotless. Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat in central Surbiton.

Very quiet at Friday lunchtime, we were the only ones until a loud vegan arrived, and unfortunately continued to yell about her veganism religion throughout the remainder of our meal. We had our usual at Persian restaurants: koobideh (minced lamb grilled on skewers) with their moreish garlic naan and the chicken (with bones) and rice. Our first visit but not our last.

I wish I had my phone to take a photo the plate. They do boxes but I really needed to revive my authentic Greek life. It was a great retreat for a Monday evening.

The falafel wraps are always fresh, filled up and portions are generous. Today I tried Syrian milk puddings and they are delicious - silky and not overly sweet. The service is extremely kind and the chef lady took so much care to prepare and pack the meals. I can't wait to go back.
