After a long shift I wanted some hearty dinner. I was the only person there and it seems the hostess was new and couldn’t tell me much about the menu when I was hungry, tiered and wanted feeding - we’ve all been there learning so I gave benefit of the doubt. I gave my order and noticed these errors through the meal: - The hostess put sticky ribs instead of salt and pepper ribs (the portions were small for price) They did replace them, but they tried to double gaslight me into thinking I didn’t order salt and pepper. - The salt and pepper chips weren’t authentic, I’ve had them many times and these just were fries with seasoning which they charged me £6 for - It was only me in the building and I wanted the WiFi password, they said no. - I had to go air several minutes to flag my waiter for more water. THEN: When I asked for the service charge to be removed, the cook / owner said why do you want the service not charged, and I explained why. And he kept being rude and asking why even though I gave answers. Pilling on the pressure, it was awful. If he didn’t pressure me at the end I would not have wrote this review but the rudeness on top was beyond. I’ve been a young waitress before, but you simply don’t get a service charge for less than average work. Sorry. Not getting your service charge is the only way you’ll improve.

Had a lovely experience at Yangs on a quiet Wednesday night. I’m not local but stay regularly at Premier Inn in Hayes, so I was pleased to find a restaurant other than a curry house. The food was all freshly made and everything was delicious with the chef/owners own twist . Despite being the only ones in the restaurant we enjoyed ourselves and chatted to chef and waitress who were both lovely. I found the prices reasonable for the quality, but felt the wine was on the expensive side. This would not put me off visiting again

Really loved unexpectedly finding this tasty oasis of food especially in the less appealing area. The atmosphere is relaxed local food joint. Every dish we tasted, (including fried squid, fried chicken, edamame, ribs to name some), was as good as if not better than some more formal dining places. My favourite dish was the salmon tataki which is something I have tried in a lot of places but at Yangs the combination of the slices of avocado and seaweed and a sauce that's drinkable took it to a different level. My husband's favourite was the waygu tataki which comes with the usual waygu premium price but he said was worth every penny (as I don't eat beef). Price wise was similar to many other restaurants in London just without the frills. Service was quick and polite. Was worth every penny. Looking forward to going back.

Fantastic find. Clearly a lot of skill and passion has gone in to creating such wonderful dishes. Lovely presentation of the food too. This restaurant also has a good selection of Japanese whiskies both blends and malts. The owner is very knowledgeable about the whiskies and happy to recommend.

An enjoyable meal here at this small Asian style restaurant. Good efficient service and the food was good, a much better experience than my first try when I didn’t even stay.

For some reason I had never frequented Shan Shui before - but I certainly will again when I'm next at Heathrow Terminal 2. On this first visit, I tried all of the different prawn dimsum and I would happily try them all again - for me, the Sichuan chilli oil wonton was the standout.

Absolutely tasteless food with a slimy/sticky texture to the noodles.

Went yesterday with office staff for dinner, disgusting food, tones of sugar in all dishes, even in chicken tikka masala, service very slow, squeezed (accommodate 5 people on small table), not like it use to be before food wise.... Please change the chef... Not recommended anymore.
