Such a wholesome experience. I wouldn’t go for the food as it’s a bit overpriced for what it is but decent enough to eat if you’re hungry. The staff are incredible and I couldn’t paise them enough. The cats are so well looked after and I fell in love with all of them. Highly recommended if you’re a lover of cats. Something that wowed me even more was that the entire decor is retro memorabilia and all the things you would have grown up with if you were born before the 2000s. I would definitely go again. Thank you for such a lovely experience❤️

Very friendly and helpful good for a male and female to feel safe... cctv all around and nice to have a pint chating with the locals. Beer garden outside which is safe for children. Toilets are spotless and very welcoming ... Good pub in Dovercourt

Rare to find a bar in Southend that has such a good view to sit out in the summer with good music too, they have an outstanding DJ that is usually playing on a Saturday afternoon. There is a wide selection of drinks and cocktails. Ive only had pizza once so can’t really comment on the food. It is on the corner of Prittlewell Square/Clifftown Parade in Southend.

The best breakfast spot in Potters Bar and beyond! I gladly travel from Barnet for it. The service is outstanding, with the owners always going above and beyond—he delivers 10/10 service every time, and she bakes the most delicious cakes! Proper family run business. The food is consistently perfect and delicious, better than any breakfast I've had around. Their coffee is hands down the best I've ever tasted, and the entire team is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. I especially appreciate their no-pork options for the full English breakfast; the turkey rashers and beef sausages are a great touch! They also offer fresh fruit juices that are amazing. I absolutely love this cafe and hope it remains a staple for years to come!

Visited Oysters with my partner whilst staying in Braintree looking after our friends pets when they were on holiday. This restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. We ate in the restaurant next to the take-away and ordered cod, chips, mushy peas, side of onion rings along with a pot of tea for my partner and (as they are licensed) a bottle of beer for me! Our food was cooked fresh to order, very generous sized portions, served piping hot and absolutely delicious. Lovely crispy batter on the fish, with perfectly flaked fish underneath and superb chunky chips. Our server (Bruno) was very polite, friendly and attentive and this added to our experience of dining there. There are toilets available (although you have to climb a flight of stairs) and they were very clean. If you are driving there, you can park in Sainsbury's car park (1 min walk away) for free after 18.00, or it's just £1.50 for 2 hours to park during the day. The prices charged are reasonable and we will definitely visit again.

We were just out for a drive and thought we would stop here for a sandwich or something. Turns out they have a full lunch menu which looked good. I went with Hake in a pepper and tomato sauce, my wife had a steak with blue cheese on a flatbread. I’m a big fish lover but wasn’t expecting too much from a little place in Royston ! How wrong I was, the Hake was cooked to perfection and the sauce absolutely delicious with some new potatoes this was a really nice and unexpected lunch. My wife’s steak was also brilliant apparently. This was a very hot day and we sat at an outside table with shade with a lovely view over the Heath. A hidden little gem that is well worth a visit.

Not enough staff and food appalling. My sister and I ordered Tuscan soup to start (which I had ordered before and liked) but it was totally inedible as it tasted sour as if it was off and we had to send it back, so just had bread that came with it. My main was spaghetti bolognaise which has very little sauce and had to ask for more. The dessert I had was chocolate cake with mascapone cream. The cake itself was heavy and there was only a teaspoon of mascapone cream served with it so again had to ask for more. So the starter, main and dessert were all disappointing. They also didn't have any mash which was meant to come with my sister's main.

We visited on a wet Sunday evening for a roast dinner for 5 people. The two young girls who appeared to be running the place were really friendly and welcoming. They had run out of chicken (understandable as this was 6.30pm on a Sunday) so we had 4 x beef and 1 x pork roast. We had a couple of requests (no rare meat for the pregnant guest, extra potatoes on one, etc) and they were very accommodating. The food was lovely, hot and fresh, everyone cleared their plates including the kids. We ordered desserts which were great too and they even did an extra special dessert for my daughter’s birthday. Would highly recommend Gibson’s and will definitely return one day.
