The best restaurants in Thurrock East of England

Come for friends birthday/leaving drinks. Wonderful Friday afternoon. We ordered through the app, service was quick. Shared lots of small plates between us which were great. Ended up staying for karaoke which was really fun!

The Bull , a brilliant place to eat , great food and plenty of it . Good value for money too .You won’t go home hungry

Went there for our wedding anniversary dinner.... Fantastic ambience with stunning decor, excellent flavours from all starters and mains we ordered, amazing cocktails, and customer service was top notch.... Will definitely recommend and go back again. The live entertainment was also good.

Easily my favourite Jamaican spot in Tilbury. Run by two amazing sisters who truly care about quality, portion size, and customer satisfaction. I’m there most Fridays for the stew fish—it’s massive, comes with rice and peas, and somehow costs less than anywhere else in London. Service can take a little time, but the food is always worth the wait. Unbeatable value and proper home-style flavour.

Good food but small portions and terrible inaccurate wait times when you make orders for collection. Tried this place twice and both times waiting in the shop for 45 and 30 minutes after they told me it would be ready

It started with a guy doing balloons in the car outside and ended with a drug deal in the middle of the road as we were pulling away. Not the restaurants fault to be fair but it gives you the idea of what a sh*t hole the area is. Now the food. Carbonara was bland , beef rags over cooked and dry and pizza was average but a bit light on toppings. 1 st impressions was to leave wish we had. It was recommended by a guy I play football with. DC thanks mate it’s a carsey ! Never give me a recommendation again please.

Very nice pub with excellent staff With good parking. Our service was great and Some of the food we had today was exceptional and other were good. All at a great price. We will most definitely be back.

Ordered a takeaway from here, all of the food had no flavour whatsoever, could have easily spent our money on a much nicer flavoursome indian. Will not be ordering again

Amazing family meal (13 of us) for Easter Sunday. Service was brilliant, food fantastic and they even provided GF yorkshires with my roast, GF bread with my starter and GF biscuits with my dessert Fantastic Five Stars!!

The coffee shop was easy to find. Comfortable seating outside the store. Service was excellent and the staff friendly. It was a good location to catch up and have a chat.

Had pie and mash, breakfast and kids had sandwiches; it's a nice cafe, meals were great, staff friendly and helpful; value for money.

Food was gorgeous! 5/5 for the lamb shish! Not very welcoming, strange atmosphere. Wouldn’t return due to the atmosphere! Nothing like the tick tock videos! When I say the atmosphere was dead, they play the most weirdest music choice, felt depressed by the time I left! Wouldn’t return. Shame because the food was delicious!

Very good takeaway, dishes come up fairly spicy. Delivery was quick & food hot. Use on a regular basis
