Ordered a takeaway from here, all of the food had no flavour whatsoever, could have easily spent our money on a much nicer flavoursome indian. Will not be ordering again

Visited this restaurant today on recommendation that the food is sensational and we were not only treated so well but the food was delicious! Really well cooked, special dishes made to our taste and the owner cane and joined in the happy birthday. The owner Sujit is a truly wonderful host, the chefs Nikhil and Vijay were excellent and the waitress was lovely and super efficient! I wouldn’t get Indian food from anywhere else in Essex! We found 10 dining after searching online for someone to cater our wedding. We went to the cafe to test out some dishes and thought the food was amazing! It was hard to narrow down the options! Sujit was really helpful getting everything organised and helped us with getting serving staff and crockery, cutlery etc which our venue did not supply. The food on the day was really good quality and all our guests loved that we had an alternative to a usual wedding menu! They were happy to also provide an alternatives for dietary requirements and non curry eaters too. The staff made sure everyone got enough to eat and we were so happy that we got to eat our favourite food on our wedding day! Can’t wait to visit the cafe again soon(need some more Papri chaat!!) thanks you to Sujit and the whole team! From Hayley and Alex

Some body recommended this place to us and My husband and I went there with six friends for dinner. It is a small cafe style diner where freshly prepared food is served We ordered Meru bhajia for starters which was the best of its kind and a huge portion. Masala mogo portion was very small. All the portions were very small In the main meal. The two fish dishes,tarka dall, lamb chops and bhindi bhaji were quite flavourful. Lunch time menu seems like better value.

Absolutely amazing AUTHENTIC Indian food. Not Bengali red colouring, full of oil and chewy meats.. this restaurant looks like a little cafe but don’t let that fool you.. the chefs Vijay and Nikhil are highly trained from India and have worked in central London top establishments..We travelled from Dartford for a meal as we can not find any “Indian” in Dartford which doesn’t serve dog rated food. Took us 20 mins to reach n boy was it worth it.. Vijay was great and informative regarding the authentic menu and he helped us make a couple of great choices.. the Karahi chicken was the best that we have ever had with succulent chicken thighs cooked perfectly with a dash of peppers and aromatic spices.. being an Indian restaurant manager until very recently this is great praise as I have eaten at many a restaurant n not enjoyed the Karahi chicken as much as this one. The chicken biryani was blended perfectly with the rice and the ginger juliennes n fried onions were added as garnish to just the right proportions.. the chicken was juicy n plentiful.. the garlic cheese chilli naan is a favourite of my Mrs n it was fantastic and cooked perfectly .. this restaurant is a great little gem of a find and I recommend it highly.. I will definitely be back and would consider this to be a regular now for us going forward.. the bill with a mixed poppadum basket and a mixed chicken tikka and lamb sheekh kebab starter (which was sizzling and fresh) and 2.5 bottles of lager came to a reasonable and very very well worth it £42... much better than paying £60/£70 for two in dartford for pedigree chum curry’s served with cardboard naans and rotten mixed salads... will definitely go back to try a couple of lamb dishes.. I just hope they are tender n cooked as finely as the chicken dishes were... plz go n try this lovely little restaurant.. many thanks to Vijay And Nikhil.. Great job..

This restaurant is just that little bit different from your normal Indian restaurant.....food very good and staff pleasant..will definitely be returning..

We ordered the taster menu in advance (very important) for 5 of us . And we ate and ate and ate ! Dishes some familiar and many new to me and all of them fantastic . The sticky spicy Bison was outstanding ! I have eaten at 10 dining a few times over the last few years and can honestly say the experience is different (in a good way) every time . I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone but remember you must book in advance for the taster menu , it’s definitely worth it !! Thanks for last night guys it was great !!

Came with my friends to try some Indian food.felt so happy after the meal. Very authentic Indian food, chefs are even ready to tune up or down the flavours of each dish on request. A hidden gem. We really had a memorable evening. Thanks to chef Vijay and his team.... Joe

Have eaten at this restaurant several times and went again because of its previous excellent cuisine. Four couples who had all ate therefore before. The service was dire it took 30 minutes to provide us with drinks we had ordered and a further 30 minutes for our pompadoms and a further hour for our starters two of our ladies not even having a starter. The mains and sides were nowhere near the standard we expected. Three asked for Jalfrezi one very hot, one hot and one medium hot. All three tasted the same mild. Our bill was £270 after a £30 service charge had been added. We refused to pay the service charge and we spoke to whom we assume was the senior member of staff and explained our disappointment. He gave us the impression he thought it quite reasonable to wait 2 hours for starters of which there was only 6. We paid £242.00 in cash and said we regretted we would not eat there again. Other customers last night told us this was their worst experience in this restaurant. They need to ask themselves why they have this review or they may find they will lose more trade.

A lovely restaurant with authentic Indian music and lovely decor. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food lovely with good portions. Does not have a liquor license, but you can take your own wine, which they will chill for you. This restaurant is upmarket , but nice for a special occasion , or get together. Would return and recommend.

I would like to thank Sujit and his team for an excellent catering service to 2 of our parties. The buffet service set up was very professional and the food delicious. This year he once again provided authentic Indian food for 50 adults and party food for around 25 children. Highly recommended.

Love the food from this restaurant, admittedly it takes a while for your order, but it is so worth the wait. The staff are friendly and welcoming wether it’s for a take away or sit in. The food excellent I would recommend you to try it

We have visited 10 dining a number of times over the past 7 months and each time the service is excellent. Ashley is a wonderful waitress always wanting to please to ensure we have all we want. The gentleman who also takes orders and ensures we order exactly what we want is so nice (sorry can’t recall his name) ultra polite and accommodating.The food really is incredible, any dish can be created according to your taste even if it isn’t on the menu. The food is clean on the palette incredibly tasty never greasy. Dishes served here I’ve never even come across before, really is the best Indian restaurant we and our friends have ever visited. Travelling 16 miles is well worth the culinary delights and lovely people.

Absolutely fantastic tasting food. Brilliant value, staff are so accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The chef accommodated our taste by making changes to some menu items to suit us and even cooked up a treat for my partner of something that wasn't even on the menu. Love that you can see into the kitchen. It was very clean. Ashley our waitress was really sweet, very attentive and really looked after us. Service was excellent. We were introduced to the restaurant by our good friends and will definitely be back... with more friends next time. Thank you for a lovely meal and a great experience!

Visited restaurant for first time tonight.. When we entered we were reassured by the fact that we were the only non Indian guests.. Place full of Indian eaters.. Service impeccable and starters, main and drinks top top notch. We will be going back as this is the best Indian Restaurant myself and wife have been to.. Including London!

As regulars in 10 dining it seemed fitting to ask Sujit and his team to cook for our Last minute wedding. We booked to use the whole restaurant for the evening. I sat with Sujit planned a menu that suited us and our family. And as always the guys did not disappoint us. So me and the missus would like to thank the guys and just say how we highly recommend 10 dining.

A really great welcome, stated with special Bhaji and fried okra. Crab curry , Goan Pork and chicken curry, a wonderful array, that really ticked the taste buds. A wonderful experience and service always wonderful, very helpful. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic taste of India.

I would like to say this is the best Indian restaurant, we have ever been too. The food and service was outstanding. It's all about the butter chicken YUMMY!!! If you want a real treat then 10 dining is the place to go. The food, the service and staff where awesome. 10/10

The food was superb. Cooked fresh to order. There is a wait but it's worth it. Whilst waiting the staff bring drinks and savoury snacks. The kitchen forms a part of the experience, you can see your meal being prepared. Highly recommended. I'll be back.

Their flyer menu claims free delivery on orders £15 plus to local areas but when I phoned on Saturday evening (8.10.2016) to place a £40 takeaway order was told they don't do deliveries ??!!

Our British friends decided to host us here for lunch..The soup was simply amazing Gujarati and African fusion (as the owners are Gujarati-Kenyan)The starters were again exceptionally well prepared and the Thums Up made me feel at home.Honestly after such a great beginning I was a bit disappointed with the main course, it was too basic and more of a thali meal in a small place.But they more than made up with the desserts.. amazing Gajar ka halwa and gulab jamuns (made in house) and Kulfi.Overall a great meal in a small town... much more than expoected.

We booked 10 Dining to provide food for us for a pre-wedding buffet, wedding lunch buffet and reception with three course meal and drinks reception canapes. From the moment we arrived for the wedding tasting, Sujit was extremely helpful in setting up a menu and was very meticulous on his site visits. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was, and my husband and I were very happy with the results.

Went here on the 29th of August Bank holiday Monday, had a amazing time food was the best Indian I have ever had,the battered potoes with chill jam is to dye for,and Whoopi the fish curry best ever,the staff are friendly and welcoming definitely going back soon,thanks for a great evening

Although the lunchtime menu is limited the food was delicious and for a good price. The portion sizes were not excessive and I was able to share the chicken set meal (£6) with my 3 year old and still feel full. My husband had a wrap which he is raving about as it was so good! The food tasted freshly prepared (unlike a lot of indian restaurants) and the staff were polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. The place is quite small though so might find it difficult to accommodate large groups.

Excellent food, excellent service 10 Dining is a little gem located in Civic Square Tilbury. The food is some of the best I have tasted and the staff are very friendly and happy to help. They are also happy to prepare a dish for you that is not on their menu!! This is certainly a restaurant that I will be visiting again.

I am extremely fond of Indian restaurants and good ones are hard to come by, however I'm so pleased to have discovered 10 dining on my doorstep!! I have literally just finished my meal from here as I write this review!! I went down to 10 dining to order food to take home! Everyone knows it's always better when you eat in, however I couldn't fault any part of my meal!! Even as a take away!! Every single dish tasted amazing! Unlike any other Indian I've ever had! The staff were so pleasant and friendly and the chefs took their time to cook my food (even though they had a large party of people in there) I honestly can't wait to go back. What a fantastic diner this is!! Excellent food!!! Hats of to the chefs!! Seriously the best Indian around here!! Thank you

I've been here twice now with my partner for lunch & it's amazing, authentic Indian cuisine. Very reasonable too & staff very friendly. Food was beautiful... Cant wait to visit again. It is by far the best food place in Tilbury! Well worth a visit.

My first visit (after recommendations) and I am truly blown away. Who would have thought that an Indian restaurant in Tilbury, Essex would serve such stunning, fresh and authentic Indian food. The restaurant itself is only small, probably only seating around 20 people. Also in the room is the kitchen, so you can see the chefs in action. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as there are numerous unfamiliar dishes on the menu, particularly vegetarian mains. I ordered stunning coriander prawns to start (sweet prawns and a lovely kick of coriander and chill) followed by a vegetarian main called Akhu Shaak, a Gujarati style dish with potato, aubergine and chilli stuffed with a homemade masala mixture and cooked in a tomato curry. Brilliant! I also tried the jeera rice, superb parka dal(great flavours but light and fresh) and a great butter naan. I am stuffed and extremely happy!!!! When can I go back!!!!

I visited here recently for the first time and all I can say is, wow!! The staff were so friendly, the food was served up quickly and tasted amazing. We were allowed to take our own drinks in with us too which was brilliant. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

What a different variety of dishes we have tasted here from scallops to Guinea fowl to giant u5 prawns, staff always great & helpful.

This is a fantastic little place, it was recommended to me by family.It's very similar to the restaurants in Niarobi, Kenya. We ordered a mixed grill and coriander prawns. Both dishes....fantastic!!!Mains we had:Lal mass (lamb curry) Chilli chicken (lived up its name)Chicken BiryaniLamb Biryani Nans They also have Tusker (kenyan beer). We really liked 10 Dinning and was well worth the trip.The only negative is the service which was a little slow....I think the waiter was new so maybe next time it'll be a 5 star rating.We also met the owner who was a nice chap and very informative about the dishes.We're looking forward to going back!

What a lovely atmosphere & great quality food , i visit most days & it's normal for their to be Indian people eating there as well, which you won't see anywhere in Essex , plus top staff .

Myself and my partner absolutely love this restaurant. It feels like you are eating authentic Indian cuisine. It's always fresh and each dish has an array of different flavours. I have eaten in hundreds of Indian restaurants and take aways and this is the best by far!!! And just to add the cherry on top; the staff are wonderful too.

This is a family run Indian restaurant with the food carefully prepared in a spotless kitchen. The restaurant seating runs along the side of the kitchen and diners can see the care and attention paid to each dish.The food is superb, elegantly spiced, fresh and exciting. The menu choice offers the standard dishes but also a range of different starters and main courses which are imaginative and delicious.We have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the UK and this meal stands out as the best.The decor is modern chic and the staff are charming, knowledgeable and very proud of their food.The prices are very reasonable and the on-line menu gives a great idea of the philosophy and range of dishes available.We ate here on the night before sailing from Tilbury and found 10 Dining following positive reviews on TripAdvisor. This is great food and highly recommended if you are anywhere near Tilbury!

Third visit last night. Went with group of friends (23) and had a mixed taster type menu. Lots of food lots of different tastes - all absolutely lovely. Great night. Very well priced. Can't wait to return. If it wasn't in Tilbury I think it would b booked out every night!! Highly recommend a visit

Being half Indian, I'm always a little reluctant to eat at an Indian restaurant. However, this wonderful gem of a restaurant is the closest I've come across to the food my family cooks. It's absolutely amazing. The staff also take the time to discuss the menu and make recommendations. The Dahl Makani is wonderful! Please go here to try for yourself.

We have been coming to this Indian for over 18 months now. The first time the food was amazing and the standard has never dropped. I have to mention the naan breads as they are cooked perfect, very thin ,cut into quarters and they taste fantastic.Would also like to say the staff are very friendly and helpful, we took our son when he about 10 months old and they could not do enough for him, he is now 26 months and he eats most things of the menu :)We even took my Mum & Dad who had never had an indian before and they loved it so much they came back the next month.All in All a superb Indian that I would recommend to anyone

We good food catered for at home for 40 people. I have to say it was one of the best catering service we have had. The food was excellent. It was freshly cooked, authentic and full of Indian flavours. We would strongly recommend this food to anyone who knows Indian food and crave for it. Very polite and truly professional chef.

I have never tasted Indian food like it. Everything is cooked to just how you like it. If there is something special you want you just need to ask. We have had a taster evening with about 8 of us. 10 courses of various tasty dishes. Obviously needed to book in advanceThe customer service is second to none very attentive waiters.They do serve alcohol but you can bring your own for a small corkage feeCannot recommend this place enough. A must try restaurant if you like Indian food. Then you can realise that you love it!

We had a lovely meal at 10 in January with Mum and Dad. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable too!

We have our own little monthly curry club now and as always last night's food was superb. The owner even organised a special taster menu just for us at our request. I can not recommend this restaurant enough it's a must try. 10/10 every time.

Visited for the first time after a recommendation from in laws. Loved the food, loved the service and great all round. Don't expect your food instantly as it is all cooked fresh but well worth the wait. Try the special bhaji - yum yum nom nom

Good food awful service and rude staff. After we had finished our main ( which had one dish missing) we were offered dessert and coffee. At this point we didn't want either but was going to have coffee in a while. Approx 15 mins later we were told "the rule is that once you have finished your meal you have to leave".(HOW RUDE) I said ok can we have the bill. As you can take your own drink I put the lid on the wine and placed it in my bag. We were then left waiting for approx. 15 mins. I had to ask for the bill again.

Went for my second visit last night and was shown to only table not reserved. Ordered food, mine with rice, my friend wasnt sure if hers came with rice and waiter said he'd check as she wanted rice too. Food came out with only one rice. Food tasted very good though not enough as we were sharing rice! We brought our own wine. After we'd eaten we sat drinking wine intending having desert and coffee after the wine. After a short while we were approached by a member of staff who said it was the rule to leave after we'd eaten! We were offended so asked for the bill, after 15 mins it was still not given to us so we had to ask again, ridiculous! The place is very small and there is nowhere to sit that the staff could not listen to our conversation which made me feel uncomfortable. The bill came to £29.70 for no poppadums, 1 onion bhaji and 1 veg samosa starter, 2 main courses and 1 rice, and £4 corkage charge for wine we were not allowed to finish. Such a shame as the food was really very good - what there was of it!

A hidden gem in Tilbury,excellent authentic Indian cuisine, very attentive service ,worth travelling a few miles for. Have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. It has a cafe feel to it, which makes for a relaxed atmosphere, and seeing your food being freshly prepared in front of you is a bonus. A lovely food experience and certainly value for money.

We have eaten a few times here have never been disappointed. The food is a little different from regular Indian food, it's got an influence of Kenyan which is so tastey it keeps us going back for more. They could do with a bit more atmosphere as its to much like a cafe, it's not cheap but then again it's not too expensive, if you desire a change from the normal then you should give this place a try.
