Zer Shish in Thurrock

Food was gorgeous! 5/5 for the lamb shish! Not very welcoming, strange atmosphere. Wouldn’t return due to the atmosphere! Nothing like the tick tock videos! When I say the atmosphere was dead, they play the most weirdest music choice, felt depressed by the time I left! Wouldn’t return. Shame because the food was delicious!

We have eaten several times at this restaurant since it has opened. The food is always delicious, and there is always plenty of it. Waiting times have always been good. The only fault I have is with one particular member of the serving staff. The younger women are always happy and cheerful and eager to make your dining experience positive. However, the older woman on the staff is always miserable, rude, and abrubt. She practically throws your food down in front of you and never smiles; not even when you leave a tip at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, my heart always sinks when I see she is on duty as it does not make it such a positive experience. I have mentioned this to staff in the past, but it seems the nicer, more friendlier staff leave and she remains!

The portions were huge and satisfying, but the Calamari are a bit too large and felt marginally undercooked the meat was nice but slightly bland. The bread was good as was the salad

We come here almost every week and we don’t order from the cheep menu Today my meal came cold was sent back and came back the same temperature I ate half of the meal as had plans and didn’t have time for my meal to be in and out I tried to explain to the guy and he just didn’t care telling me it had been warmed up for 6 mins and then another 4 mins sorry but we don’t come in to pay £40 for 2 microwave meal. We are paying for freshly cooked food. Very disappointed with the food service was no better. When the women are on we don’t have any issues but when this guy is on he’s so rude and stick up and his response to everything was “I’ll talk to the owners so next time” sorry your service sticks the food was cold what reality do you think am coming back!!!

Food was OK,nothing great,would I return? Probly not,The food was bland,staff were friendly.not value for money....

Amazing customer service. Excellent quality of food. Great atmosphere. The hosts are So very nice and ensured we really enjoyed our meal. We will return.

First visit to this restaurant, as we normally visit another elsewhere, (they now have completion) having heard loads of good reviews, we decided to try it out, and am I glad we did, the food was fair priced, good quality and plentiful enough. Great little team on hand, very attentive and at times our waiter was very comical, had a wonderful evening, and its not too far to go, So, we will be back to try some more of your culinary delights. thank you for making a great evening for us.
