Turkish Best Kebab in Thurrock

Ordered via uber eats, delivery took well over an hour/, arrived cold, salad was coming out of the bottom of the box and forgot my bottle of coke!....very poor, spent over 50 quid for this poor effort.

This was our usual kebab place, second time running, tonight’s food was cold, so greasy and not very nice at all. It is a shame as i won’t go back now, when I say greasy it was swimming in grease, so much so we had to change a plate after putting it on the first one. The pitta was so greasy it could have been rung out! The delivery was late, and the food was cold! When you pay for delivery you at least expect it to be hot. It.must have been the last delivery of a bunch! Again not what you expect when you pay for delivery. Cold food, greasy food late delivery no more now! Such a shame as before the last delivery and tonight it has been okay. Well that is us finding a new kebab place now!

I ordered chicken kebab and chips not rice the service is rubbish It will be my last time ever getting food from this place The chips I got were all dryed out The bread was hard as a rock It will be the last £27.80. There would never get out of me again When I rang back about it I got attitude

AVOID Absolutely disgusting service, got a chicken and lamb kebab This is what I paid £14.50 for and my husband got a kebab!! Complained about the lack of food, for them to hang up on me, If you want good quality food I seriously advice you to go elsewhere.

First time and last time buying here for sure. Purchased a mixed and got a burned pile of meat I only realised when got home. Doner meat was Not Fresh At All. It tasted awful, chicken was burned also the packing was bad as the sauce was only on on side and not in the center. I don't do bad reviews but wasting more than a tenner for something that taste nothing like it should have to be addressed. Photos are very clear. I will never buy here again! The Worst not The Best in any way...

Terrible terrible food. Do NOT go here. Incredibly salty. They give u old chips, the meat and chicken was all dry. Nothing is made fresh here apart from the salad. And it’s over priced too. Avoid at all costs.

Worst turkish kebab in grays! Ordered wings, lamb shish and kofta. Wings felt like they were dieting hardly and meat on them. Apparently marinated but tasted of nothing when you got some meat. Kofta was dense and dry with no flavour. Lamb shisha (don't think it was even lamb, absolutely horrible. Chips tasted and felt like they were leftovers from last weekend. OVER £25.00 for some rubbish, non sense so called kebab. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONIES HERE THEY ARE CLEARLY RIPPING CUSTOMERS OFF WITH CHEAP MEAT, CHEAP INGREDIENTS AND CHARGING PRICES OF A PREMIUM KEBAB SHOP!

Ordered a Doner Kebab, doesn't specify if it's chicken or lamb. They call to ask about the address but not about the actual order to confirm and bring me a lamb doner when I call to ask for a replacement they don't do anything about it. Last time it was all full of skin won't be ordering from here again.

This is the 3rd time I had ordered kebab from here..but nevere again! I'm not really into giving product reviews but this was awful, meals arrived 15-20 minutes after placing ther order...to quick to to be fresh, all cold, fries cold, but not only that, lamb sish couldn't be chewed and tasted a lot like alive lamb 😱...I usually have respect for Turkish food..but unfortunately never again..

Absolutely the best chicken shish we’ve ever had. We have been ordering from here for years, the quality is always amazing and anyone we’ve ever recommended (everyone) always agrees with us. The chicken is always so soft and delicious and the rice in the bottom of the box is brilliant. Pizzas are really good too!

The food is great but once again when I write in the window additional information "please call me when you are here 07 .......". Dear Mr. supplier pounds on the door until the windows shake, my appetite is running out.

Disgusting service....gave me old food and humus, it was smelling so bad that I couldn't even eat. I called in and the guy who spoke to was extremely rude, he kept on saying they don't make the humus in the store so it's not their fault as if it's my fault because I ordered food from them. The best Turkish kebab is not the "best". I called today to order something, and the staff hung up because I was annoyed that my order was too small. I didn't know how much I had to order for delivery, and the man I was talking to got annoyed and hung up. It would be better if he explained to me in a peaceful and civilized way the rules for deliveries. I do not recommend this place because of the bad staff.

I've ordered here quite a few times now and it's the best kebab I've ever had in the uk. Usually shish meat is quite fatty, no matter where I go, but so far, I have not found any fatty meat whatsoever. I love that they deliver all the food separately so you can put it on your plate the way you want to. I've no idea what the rice is all about, but for sure, their shish kebab is the best *****

Food is decent comparee to the other Turkish place. Although dining in or not Mangal in grays is really good.

It is the worst ever kebab...It is not actually kebab what I received, it's a disgrace for the Turkish kitchen, I received meat and rice instead of Large shish kebab, I received a small special chicken shish kebab with one piece of meat instead of a medium one They didn't even bother to put the 3rd one, chicken donner kebab, and had to call in and wait for another 30 mins, to get the whole order. The chips were cold, I ordered 2 cheese and chips, which only had a bit of cheese on top, and were cold chips by the time they arrived, while the delivery was just less than 1.5 miles away You can see in photos.

They just don't bother serving you. Too busy with phone orders.

Ordered £30 worth of food, staff is very rude and unproffessional, asked for an extra container as they crammed the platter in one box but they refused. Also forgot our drinks and no napkins or cuttlerys

Best meat quality in Essex, never had a stale or bad tasting doner meat. The customer service is exceptional, friendly and will accommodate any food requests.

Friendly staff, variety of options and sizes and most importantly delicious food. The meat was well cooked and seasoned, warm and fresh and the doner was flavoured well. The kebabs were very good quality. Would highly recommend if you are looking for good quality, tasty and reasonably priced Turkish food!

I DO NOT recommend this place, apart from they only accept cash NO CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS, the food is not that fresh. Recently had a medium doner kebab I was up all night vomiting. I'll look for another kebab shop in or near Grays where food is fresh.

Any time I’m hungry, I always order my pizzas, chicken shish and some lovely chicken wings from this restaurant and I can guarantee the best of taste. I will always recommend you try their food - it’s so so tasty and yummy 😋

Pizza 2 for £17 is the regular order placed. The option to add your own toppings is great. The pizzas always arrive hot and fresh. Delivery always on time.

Lovely Turkish food. For the price, I'd have expected Turkish rice, or Turkish bread with the most expensive platter deal. But still very large portion.

Looks like nice fresh kebab from the window, however the lamb donner is salty and the chicken is congealed. Shame as like I say looked fresh and tasty from the window. I’m far from a penny pincher either but slightly over priced for the quality.

Would have given 4 stars but cash only rule not good enough especially with covid. Kebabs were average.

Food came cold and mediocre, delivery took over 1 hour and when we inquired about are delivery on the phone they aggressively shouted at us.

Ordered on a Wednesday night said delivery in 45 mins but nearly an hour and a half late! When it did arrive the food was cold. I called to ask where order was and was told 10 minutes ... 20 minutes later I called again and told "yeah 10 minutes" guy kept saying "I busy" . First time ordering from them and NEVER again! Really rude/ poor service.

Very friendly staff, happy to talk and help to choose right meal for you. They cook it on real charcoal instead of electric/gas ones and that's what gives to the meat real grilled taste. I have tried just burger so far - the real half pounder and I really enjoyed it. If you you are very hungry you can add chips. They have the thin ones and trust me you will not finish small portion by yourself. So to make it short - you should definitely try them when you walk past and your stomach is crying :)

NOT RECOMMEND! Not tasty food, only half cooked meats, hard and chewy. Vegetables for salads were cheap low quality. Turkish bread taste like cheapest bread from supermarket after expiry date. No salt, no spices at all. Sauces are like the cheapest poorest quality from supermarket. I ordered with garlic sauce and there wasn't taste of garlic at all, not mention about any garlic at all. NOT RECOMMEND! AVOID!

We have been to this restaurant quite a few times now, and on every visit the food has been delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, which with the food, makes this restaurant worth a visit.

Was told food would be 45 minutes. 1 hour and fifteen later and food had still not arrived. Rang them up and they had no interest whatsoever in customer service. If they had said the right delivery time in the first place I would have ordered elsewhere. Very poor customer service. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY.
