Chocolate making workshop for a hen party. So much fun! Sarah and her team gave us 100%, so cheery and accommodating. The experience was perfect for a chilled and relaxed hen, not complicated and able to have some Prosecco and giggle away. Thank you Sarah’s creative kitchen for some fun memories

We had a fantastic last meal at Mr Tangs. We have been visiting for over 30 years and have never had a bad meal. With very best wishes to Mary, Ken and all the team for the future. Thank you for all the excellent food, always friendly welcome and lovely atmosphere. It will be much missed and judging by how full the restaurant was earlier we aren't the only ones who will miss it!

had a circular walk stopping off for coffee on the way home, usually just have a piece of shortbread but for a change i thought i'd try their small breakfast, it was vry nice, you get a choice of tomatoes or mushroom, toast or bread and butter

My local Indian takeaways in Southend. The food is amazing, with large portions. Delivery services are efficient, within the hour. I would highly recommend… Vindaloo & chicken saag dishes. 5+++++

Been here twice now on separate visits to Southend on sea and both times the food has been great. A large enough selection to have a choice but not overwhelming. Each time they have asked for allergies or special requirements. The staff are very kind and accommodating making every request asked of them no trouble. I would highly recommend going here for some very tasty food which will fill you up.

Just a fantastic pub! I had my 50th birthday there for the Abba tribute, and the singers were incredible, the pub staff and management so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere so good. If you want a fun night out, with great bands, it’s fantastic. Thank you Oakwood!!
